Sigma Impact
It is actually a very nice game, once you get into it. Provides very fun gameplay with a beautiful soundtrack, and I like the fact that it has local co-op to make the game more fun and a bit easier with the extra help. The game has a lot of potential to improve and add new things in further updates. I would personally recommend a third player local co-op option, and I think some other people would too. Thou I do understand that it would have to squeeze the players health and weapon stamina bars, making them very small. Hopefully there is an alternative solution to this problem. My second suggestion is just to add some new enemies, and maybe a weapon too. But all in all, so far this has been an extremely fun game for me and my friends to play together, and I hope that there will be updates very soon:)

This game is very fun and hard to master but once you get the hang of it. The game somehow becomes even more challenging as you try to beat the it under 10 minutes I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a casual play-through. I’m looking forwards to further development in the future.

ELE RAMPAGE
Really fun and challenging mini-game using some of the Epic Games Paragon Assets I’m familiar with - the bosses in levels 2 and 3 were particularly enjoyable to navigate around.
Looking forward to what comes next

Destroy the city as a P.O’d elephant?
Didn’t know I needed this, but I sure as heck did.
The games store page already sums up the gameplay quite well: 3min to score 300 points, people give 1pt while cars give 10. Level 2 and 3 have indestructible enemies to avoid while making your carnage quota.
The game isn’t overly difficult,I won with several retries in about half an hour.
Once you figure out where the cars are, it gets a lot easier.
Stomping around while people run screaming is very satisfying, although a nitpick is your hitbox,it seems to be just your feet that destroy things, while your tusks do nothing.

Rogue Aces Deluxe
Only just started playing, but loving it so far. Mostly because it’s a lot of fun, but a little bit because of the nods to Skystrike ;) (a game I wrote many many years ago on the ST). If I were writing Skystrike again nowadays, I’d be pinching lots of stuff from Rogue Aces as it’s an absolute belter :)
Rogue Aces is a properly difficult game, but you learn a lot in the early part of the game from your mistakes and immediately dive straight back in for another bash at it.

Review by Sven Evil - Steam’s best local 4-player curator!
|
Are you in the mood for some good old fashioned arcade fun? Then Rogue Aces is the right game for you. It comes with a single player campaign with random, short missions and three multiplayer modes for up to 4 local players.
In the single player camapign (additional campaign and arcade modes can be unlocked) you start your fighter plane from an aircraft carrier and fly missions against the enemy. The mission objectives, given to you by your funny commanding officer, are very simple and consist of destroying enemy planes, airships, ships, buildings, soldiers or vehicles. It is also possible to capture enemy airfields. A good pilot can return to the base after a minute in many missions, others take a bit longer. When you are damaged or out of ammo or fuel - just land on the carrier or your land base to repair and refuel. You improve your plane over the course of the campaign, for example with more bombs or tighter turns.

Project Starship X
Oh boy, Project Starship X. Now what do we have here? There’s a lot to be said about this one, so I’ll try to structure it at least half-competently.
First off: If there’s any risk at all that you could have problems with photosensitivity, this isn’t the game for you. The game’s a giant seizure hazard, your health is important.
Second: gameplay. While I don’t have much experience with what defines a “CAVE Shooter”, I have it on good authority that it involves good music, upgradable shots, looping, multi-stage boss battles, and insanely fast bullets. Most of these can be found here, except perhaps that last one – enemy bullet patterns are usually pretty easy to recognize, and most of the difficulty comes from the quantity of bullets instead. While the roguelike elements seem reasonably well-implemented, it’s not quite bug-free, and only one or two of the most game-changing items seem to appear every run. Some items can also be quite heavy on the processing power… These don’t hold the gameplay back from being satisfying almost every time though. I’ve yet to find an upper limit on how many times I’m willing to smash a spaceship into an eldritch abomination’s rough approximation of a face.

Excellent Shmup! Very accessible to newbies of the genre, but still provides a solid challenge. Tons of twists and turns, with humour that’ll keep you interested until the end, and the other end…and…yeah.
Music is great, especially some of the tracks that play on level 4. Gameplay/hitboxes are solid and fair (though one of the unlockable modes can have unfair combinations, but it’s minimal for a procedurally generated shmup). The boss design is great too, both the visual designs and the bullet patterns.

Seconds in Space
Use ships to attack and destroy enemy space stations in real time. Navigate through different randomly setup star maps to get to the exit and win. It’s a 2D single player space game that’s massively replayable. No matter how many times you play you’ll always have fun and feel dumb for making simple mistakes. There’s a wide range of difficulty levels so you can start simple then build your skill to experience the full depth of the game.
Destroy Enemy Space Stations
Command two groups of ships to attack and destroy enemy space stations. With a bit of practice you’ll quickly learn where to place each ship, when to attack what turret and how to counter their abilities, the hard part is mastering it. Only the enemy turrets have abilities so you must be extra focused on using your units as a team and their positioning. Dodge projectiles the best you can and when you make a mistake move a ship to safety and another one in to take some hits.
Just Get to the Exit!
Navigate through different randomly setup star maps to get to the exit and win. They have fixed layouts but the rewards and exit point are in randomized locations. Some rewards will help you and some will harm you. The better you think, plan and understand what to do the more prepared you will be. Even a slight difference in the layout of the star map can greatly change how you play it. Don’t worry though they are relatively easy to understand you just have to remember to take a moment to stop and think.

Super Fowlst 2
Super Fowlst 2 is the best kind of sequel, everything great about the first built and improved upon. once you get acclimated to moving about it’s glorious chaos all the way through, explosions tossing bodies around, bouncing off of flippers and bumpers, ride ons and farting homing rockets. It’s a great game, there’s real talent behind this. I would urge you to check out the original which is only available on mobile currently, but it is free and ads are very minimal. Both are highly recommended and well worth the asking price.

I enjoyed this developers previous 2 games a bit “Dadish” 1&2 (platformers) but this one just doesn’t quite hit the mark for me personally.
Its basically flappy bird + Roguelite.
My main problems are the grindy/tedious mobile upgrade system, the jerky camera, and the pretty cosistent stuttering/freezing that happens every 45ish seconds.
If those issues were resolved the game might be a slight recomendation, however even despite those issues and while the gameplay is a unique concept, the gameplay wasn’t super satsifying to play. It just felt just a bit too sloppy and chaotic at times, difficulty would often swing from trivial to unfair due to how enemys would randomly decide to clump together.

YUKI
Played on Oculus Quest 2 using Air Link.
This is YUKI. It’s a bullet hell rogue-lite in VR. You use your hand to maneuver YUKI around bullets while shooting at Yokaliens. The art direction is really nice here; I love the idea that you’re playing pretend with a toy in your hand. The graphics are nice as well.
The gameplay is really fun! Dodging bullets is a lot of fun, though note that you’ll have a much easier time with it if you’re able to move around a lot. It can get pretty frantic at times, though you have both YUKI’s Shield and Pod’s Freeze to help. Trying to aim and dodge at the same time can be pretty difficult, too!

This game is fantastic and deserves a lot more attention!
It’s a rogue-lite bullet hell shooter with a bunch of unlockable upgrades, unlockable bladewings and brutal levels that will take some time to master. You’ll have to stack firepower upgrades, drone upgrades, pod upgrades and health upgrades each run in order to turn Yuki into a beast to take down the bosses. I also love the set dressing of it being in the imagination of a kid (you) playing with an action figure (YUKI) from their favorite TV show.

Lovely game with very solid central concepts and a nice balance of strategy and luck! Music is upbeat and avoids being repetitive. Game dev is very responsive and involved in updating the game for quality of life suggestions, and I’m very interested to see how it develops from here!
I absolutely recommend giving this game a try!
