TETRUX: Online
Well, I was retro-gaming on some old Atari computers I recently revived, and one of the games that I liked a lot was Thetris, a post 8-bit era game written in the early 2000’s that was one of the better Tetris clones for the Atari. The music was great. Of course, I loved the original Tetris music, too, from the old Arcade game. The make-or-break Tetris games for me always have a great soundtrack that matches the pace of what you’re doing rather well. The gameplay needs to be classic.
So when scoping out a PC Tetris for the modern age, I tried out a lot of different ones, and ended up deciding on Tetrux. It has the best options, and the best soundtrack. Too many Tetris clones have only one song, that just keeps playing, and if it’s not a good piece of music, it makes the game more boring. Well, Tetrux has lots of good original music – somewhere in the slower range or Trance music, but perfect for video games like Tetris. The music is well produced.

Original review: It’s the most robust and replayable Tetris-based arcade puzzler on Steam. The numerous open-source or free options that exist online really aren’t as good as this.
There aren’t many players, so be aware if you want to play online. There are lots of customization options, both mechanically and aesthetically, though a few extra options would be nice (speeding up or removing the countdown and “Out” popups, for example, doesn’t appear possible). And as far as I’ve found, the menu can’t be navigated with a controller, so I mapped my stick to the mouse control, but that is still awkward. There really should be a solution to that.

Mr Boom’s Firework Factory
Mr Boom’s Firework Factory is a very enjoyable puzzle game! It’s not often that I lose track of time while playing an indie game! Just an added note, at the time of this review I’ve successfully completed the entire game and achieved all the steam achievements.
I’m going to start off with the CONS and then end off with the PROS, but first I’ll explain a bit about the concept of the game. Mr Boom’s Firework Factory does contain a story however I will not get into the story itself as that would take away from the experience new players would gain otherwise. The objective is to essentially move firework crates through the level while navigating the crates by rotating the floor panels which display directional arrows and paying attention to any other obstacles in the environment. You must make sure you’re picking the firework crates in the correct order.

Rary
“Cherry-picking and other fruits”
Rary is a simple game like to run around as a bird and try to pick all the fallen fruits away before the middle counter goes up to 20. Controls are quite clunky as you move with WASD but steer your bird with mouse movements. Each fruit can be picked only if it is in your viewfield, close enough and on the ground. That can be harsh if you are too close to 20 (game over) or fruit is blocking you on your way but you cannot pick it away immediately.
But the worst and even gamebreaking I find the unclear counting system. It always shows not the exact number of objects on the screen. Sometimes you wonder what you can pick up if score goes up, but nothing is left to pick. It seems also the minus score mushrooms also have to be picked up to reduce your score -1 and heat level at the same time.

DiamondFalls
DiamondFalls like tetris-match-3 type puzzle game designed for puzzle fans. The goal of the game is to solve the puzzle in such a way that there should be a possibility to collect all same colored diamonds and balls in the certain order on the level. The puzzle consists of many interacting objects, which can change their state depending on some influence or different game situation. Diamonds, balls, stones and bombs fall down under gravitation influence and time for all these operations is limited. Also, you can adjust the size of a group of diamonds, the speed of the fall diamonds, the level of filling the playing field at the beginning of the game, the complexity of the game. Feylin
I like the art and I think that it has potential to be pretty good. I am unsure how to accomplish it but the mouse being the indicator of where you swing your sword isn’t that good when you’re constantly moving around. A different control scheme would certainly help. A little more content would be nice but for the price it was a pretty decent framework for a game. I would also recommend more sounds for when enemies are hit and different ways to attack. Great start for a game but definitely needs work.

Roller Drama
A SITCOM?!?
In Roller Drama you (Joan) live together with five athletes as their coach and hopefully friend:
Anne, Portia, Pippi, Cordelia, and Juliet. They just formed a Roller Derby top team!
Portia is the property “guardian”, the others (you too) just squatted in the dilapidated building. You have to try to be the balancing factor as these top athletes develop close personal relationships and the group navigates rivalries, love stories, and sexual tension.
REAL-TIME FULL-CONTACT SPORT!
All this while playing Roller Derby-like full-contact matches, where in real time you have to give the right hints, decide strategies, and give orders. You’ll have arcade-like controls and power cards!
SURVEILLANCE
Daily life in the game’s world is not easy; political and environmental problems interfere with complex personal lives. The game’s universe is a slightly altered perspective of today’s world, with the same problems but… more explicit. It’s a dystopia that talks about our present (thank you Terry Gilliam).
