I’m not gonna talk about the game mechanics and what It’s about - there are multiple reviews for it (or watch some videos)

I will only say this:

  • It has a cross platform (PC, Xbox and Switch)

  • Only the host most own the game (other players will download “Knight Squad 2 Trials”)

  • the game is REALLY cheap for what it offers (I thought it will cost like 25 €)

  • There are no microtransactions - You have 8 knights at the start - all other knights you will unlock though challenges

  • Everything that Knight Squad 1 was bad about - This game fixed it (at least for me)

Drifting Cloud

A simplistic game with a relaxing soundtrack, pretty fun juking people online. Looking forward to seeing new updates, maybe custom matchmaking such as changing score number or a time limit mode?

Really nice chilled game, very simple concept, kinda like a more intense but somehow more relaxing take on snake =)

really recommend this game, it plays well and is a great way to wind down.

It’s a shame nobody plays this game anymore. I had fun blasting and getting blasted on this side game in 2013. Now, there is only and only me in this game. I feel bad uninstalling it. Yet, I’ll still check “Recommend” box in hopes of it getting popular again.

CHARIOT WARS

CHARIOT WARS

Watch intro which lasts 5+ minutes and cuts off before its' conclusion.

Start my first race, the AI pull ahead.

The AI swap positions with each other off screen.

Catch up with said AI, and they are in a perfect line, no swapping of positions.

But, still shows AI swapping positions on the side bar?

Insert confusion.

Pass some chariots - shows me in last position.

Pass all chariots, cross the start/finish line first, tells me I lost.

Insert more confusion.

Restart race…

The AI start climbing up the scenery and doing doughnuts.

After getting this game as a gift, I now want to pay my friend for getting it. I also want to pay him for getting himself a copy because I now have a seriously dangerous urge to get into a car crash. This games CPU has an IQ worse than its fps as they will slam the walls cheeks harder than Jordi El Nino. The worse thing about this though is the 5 minute intro. The only reason we all played this is because of the lore. 11/10

PS if you’re into 500cc mario kart, this is for you.

The singleplayer is a little lackluster, but the multiplayer is a lot of fun to play with friends

Real player with 43.8 hrs in game

its a fun game, So far ive finished about half the levels so it isnt a very long experience single player wise. Ive yet to play the multiplayer but ill update my review when I do. The music is definitely where this game shines, its very atmospheric and just sounds spooky in general. Would recommend to play as a casual multiplayer game for when the spooky season rolls around 10/10.

Curling On Line

Curling On Line

Curling On Line is a Faithful recreation of the Curling sport. It has very sophisticated mechanics that make for a very fun game indeed. It is well worth getting past the ‘learning curve’, as the satisfaction of performing complex shots is immeasurable. The graphics and sound design are ok but leave some more to be desired. The only bug that I have come across is that about 4 stones into a multiplayer match, the game will suddenly end.

Never appears to be more that the last stone so no build up of stones in/around the house.

Graphics simple and OK for price but not a game of curling when only one other stone on the rink.

Happy to be corrected if I’m missing something but as I see it a waste of money.

F1 RACE STARS™

F1 RACE STARS™

I really enjoyed this game and I think that my playtime proves it. However, I feel that this enjoyment comes from being a part of a specific generation rather than the game’s own strengths. When I was a kid, all of my friends stopped whatever we were doing to watch Schumi’s legendary, record breaking 2002 Championship in a country where football is inconceivably more important than any other sport. I also remember a day at the mall when I found a demo Nintendo DS with Mario Kart at a store, playing and mastering it for hours while my parents were shopping. Last one is skipping school countless times to play Blur (2010) with my friends at an internet cafe, finally thinking that PC had a viable Mario Kart competitor.

F1 Race Stars

A competent and challenging kart/arcade racer

F1 Race stars is a Kart Racer/Arcade racer set in the 2012 F1 season with all real drivers and teams. The game is in the same sort of league as Mario Kart and Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. Not quite as fast paced but at times more challenging.

No drifting here, Unlike most Kart/Arcade racers where drifting is needed to win, drifting does not feature at all in this game. However you are required to approch corners with a more realistic racing line using your brakes. On kers corners you charge up your kers in the corner by keeping the car controlled and releasing when you leave the corner. If you go into a corner at full speed you will crash.

At first play this game wasn’t very intoxicating but after unlocking the first car and first map and learning how well the controls felt even on a keyboard I think this game is really amazing. I see a lot of potential in this game and that is in no way an indirect way of stating the devs haven’t already done and absolutely fantastic job, There are still many things I would like to see such as car tuning and/or colouring as well as some music to race with.

Pc was made for games like these. If you play these games with a competitive spirit there’s no time for you to back down. It seems simple and easy to pass on from its indie background but it really wants to create a fun racing game that takes you down fast paced mountain passes that leave you begging for a faster time with each run. Playing online takes it to a new level, whether that involves racing for blood with your car on the line, drifting in tandem as you barely trade paint, or causing complete chaos as you dive into a hairpin to flip your opponent’s car. Of course things can be added, but I don’t think that makes this game bad. The tracks each have their unique feel and makes mastering your favorite car even more fun as you take it to each mountain, although I’ll always keep Haru close to my heart. I want to spit on those that left bad reviews, because each one had a worse excuse than my steam refunds. If you want to see a game grow you need to give it love and support, just like the stylish cars you’ll drive in this game. The physics are smooth and intuitive making this a great time killer if you want to get in some practice runs on a rainy day, or spend all night practicing the same down hill to break a friend’s record… you don’t feel jipped by constant bugs, as they’re being fixed over time. So if you like racing, cars, drifting, breathing, or getting your adrenaline rush as you crush records buy this game. Just do it already c’mon… seriously I played all night c’mon… c’mon

Before you start reading the great wall of text: there is a FREE Demo of the game that you can download to see if you can run it (or if you just like it or not). I’ve got a friend who’s got a laptop with integrated graphics, and he was able to run this around 30-40 fps. Now, onto important stuff.

First off, here are the racing games I’ve played before Star Drift Evolution:

-Dirt 4 and Dirt 2.0

-WRC 7 and 8

-Forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport 6

-Distance

-Assetto Corsa and Competizione

-Project Cars 1 and 2

Simply the best of top down racers.

  • Awesome driving and drifting feeling.

  • Skill based despite its cute looks.

  • Many cars. Brilliant 10 point system distributed between topspeed, acceleration, grip and downforce. There are no best car, just best suited for different tracks (except for the Firetruck and other goofy vehicles).

*Lots of varying tracks. Short, long, bumpy, tarmac, sand, ice, you name it. I personally like the short bumpy circuit tracks best.

Fun career mode, that keeps you coming back trying to improve your laptime.

I would like to write this review mainly for the developers in order to assist them with the development of their game. I think this game is a gem especially for older people like me who miss the good old days of kick off, which is now abondonware software, from amiga 500. However, I think the developers are not hitting the sweet spot for people like me. Below are a few suggestions for the developers to take into consideration.

1. In the current version, the story mode is a good start. I think you can make that story mode amazing by incorporating the aspects of the “player manager” game from the Amiga 500.

I’ve been into football games since Match Day and Football Manager on the BBC Micro. I’ve played a few since then: Kick Off, Player Manager, Sensible Soccer, Kick Off 2 and Goal! Although I never really got in to FIFA or Pro Evo. I was after a more old school footie kickabout game I could enjoy with my friends. So from the end my Amiga days until now there is a massive gap in my football games. I have never really found anything as good as Kick Off or Sensi. Then I heard about Super Arcade Football on Steam Greenlight.
