Polybius Invaders

Polybius Invaders

If you love retro gaming or grew up with games like Space Invaders, Galaxa, Centipede, Tempest and the many many others, then you will LOVE this game! If you’re a casual gamer, you will LOVE this game! The gameplay is engaging, even when it gets a bit repetitive. I am not a huge gamer at all, and I find myself going back to this game often. The music is calming yet exciting, and, while not chip tune or 8-bit, fits the game’s retro atmosphere well with its synthwave/retrowave sound. The graphics are a fantastic modern send-up to the classic pixelated game graphics of the 70s and 80s arcade games. General Goo, while definitely a villain, actually makes some valid points about our modern society. The gameplay is frenetic, but not too much or overwhelming, even for me, who is on the autism spectrum. Definitely play this gem of a game! This is one game that I want to actually beat, and keep playing. If classic arcades were still around like they used to be, this would be well worth your quarters!

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome

This game is actually V E R Y fun! Well, for me. I originally played AaAAaA!!! 3D on A10 so i decided to ask my dad to buy the game and we did and i fricken love it! So it has good graphics (If your PC/Mac/Linux can handle it, or you put it on low graphics) and also fun level design, good DLC, not alot of difficulty spikes, less sensitive to whack into a building, good controlls, and use of the wind and checkpoints UNLIKE reckless disregard for gravirty (Excluding Brutal Concussion) and its just a good game! I 100% Recommend it!!! Also the best part! The name! AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome!?! That name is easy to remember and awesome! (No pun intended) But some downsides are it removing some sounds and polishing things that Reckless has like the Kisses where it would fade not just blink. Also the sound for Spray Painting was just the Flip off sound and the spray paint sound but no sound that i remember from 1… 2… 3… Kick it (Drop That Beat Like An Ugly Baby) Also the texture quality is a little dated. And the glitch where the camera wont move. Also it should of been DLC because the Awesome Levels and the original campaign. However i still recommend it over Reckless Disregard for Gravity.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! ….For the Awesome, the Anti-Platformer!! In this game you will do all in your power to AVOID landing on them, as you leave every platform far behind!

I nearly made a mistake with this game (beyond thinking the dreadful title actually said something about the game, that is): I read the reviews. Then I read the awards it’s won. Then I considered the type of games I enjoy most: pinball, Puddle, FOTONICA. Flowing, limited control type games. Actually, the decision was easier with more information. And I made the correct one.

Very fun to play with friends. Driving is most fun with controller and setting it up is only to plug it in. Controls are easy to remember and driving is easy but mastering it takes time. I recommend this to everyone.

In similar vein to games like Super Hexagon, 140, Gauge and Duet, oO is a minimalistic game with simple objectives and simple controls - on the surface. But while things may look easy enough at first glance, the challenge comes in mastering the sparse mechanics you are given to get past whatever sadistic obstacles oO’s glowing, circular world cares to throw in your direction.

With ever more complex patterns to overcome and a faster and faster rate of play, the simple “push space to flip” mechanic might only be one button but will eventually build to challenge even the fastest of reflexes. You will die again, and again, and again

! and again, and again, and again, and again, and again; but unlike some other punishing titles of similar ilk, the deaths here don’t tend to feel cheap. You’ll always know why you died, and what you need to do to avoid death next time.

Too frustrating to be much fun. I do like the deceptively-simple concept and the wobbly-screen mode you can unlock each time you clear a level… but the overall charm wears off very quickly. It doesn’t take long for things to start to feel mindless, and this is not the kind of game where mindless gameplay will get you anywhere.

I’m surprised at the glowing reviews this game has gotten. (And of course anyone who doesn’t recommend the game gets slammed with downvotes, I’m sure I’ll be no different.) Scrolling through the positive reviews, hardly any of the users seem to have played for more than a couple hours - probably because the ragequit is strong with this one; I imagine many of these people played it once and haven’t touched it since - so again, it’s tough to understand the positive feedback. For the novelty, sure. Everything else… hm.

That’s where you’re wrong. These same effects are the main part of the game mechanics, which at first didn’t seem to me, but the more I progressed through the levels, the more I saw the importance of using these effects to my advantage, whether to anticipate some moves or to help me stay alive. Gameplay quite different and very attractive 100/100.

As good as the colors of the soul. It is necessary to play with caution and explore slowly so as not to die. Very good.

FEMINAZI: The Triggering

FEMINAZI: The Triggering

Few video games in history have garnered as much critical praise and effusive adoration as Feminazi: The Triggering. When it came out in 2017 for the PC, Feminazi: The Triggering set a new standard for three-dimensional action and introduced gameplay mechanics that are still copied today. Though it has since appeared on the GameCube and the Wii Virtual Console, the new version for the PC marks the first time this classic has received a significant update. The completely overhauled visuals are the most striking improvement, and they infuse this 1-year-old game with a vibrant modern feel. The sharp motion controls and the video hint system are new additions that fit in well, but the real star is the original adventure. Though it shows its age, The quest is indeed a timeless one that is full of invigorating exploration, tricky puzzles, satisfying combat, memorable characters, and stirring music. Feminazi: The Triggering is a great way to experience this seminal adventure, and it’s a shining example of how old can be made new again.

**This is a satire parody of today' feminists and SJWs. If you take this game seriously or easily offended by it, then you are one of the people being made fun of.

Got this as a gift from a friend. Did show interest in this as well.**

(Nearly 40 people found my review offensive.)

Below the surface, unless you’re a comedian and bought this for entertainment for your LP channel, or are easily amused and can have a lot of fun with it, there’s not much to do after a few hours. You can make your very own gender, out of 20+ genders (including Mayo, Toaster, and Apache) with description and symbol too.

This game is a lot of fun and definitely worth the price! Has a nice retro feel and reminds me of old block breaker and space invaders games!

Super addictive. I thought I would just play for a minute and put it down but I wound up playing for 6 hours straight. It brings back feelings of playing galaga at my favorite pizza place as a child. I could really see it sitting along games like galaga and space invaders in an arcade in the 90’s. I haven’t spent so much time playing with balls since church camp!!! 10/10

Clickdraw Clicker

Clickdraw Clicker

I guess i’ll review this since the achievements i haven’t get are those which are almost impossible to get.

My playtime: 113.8h (based on steam, 100% achievements. you should get it faster if you follow the script in my guide though.)

Grindy Achievement: Yes (8 achievements).

Optional Achievement: Yes (169 achievements).

Difficult Achievement: Yes (3 achievements).

Developer Response: No (last response is in 24 Mar, 2017).

Intro

Clickdraw Clicker is a RNG game where you have to kill your enemy by guessing which slot the enemy hides in while avoiding the slot that the enemy is likely to shoot. If, by any chance, you think that this is a clicker game like me, then you’re mistaken. It’s not that clicker game where you upgrade stuffs and reset them at some point.

Little clicker game, where the player takes on several western shootout duels against different opponents.

It comes down to a lot of clicking and mouse travelling. Very tedious and time consuming to get all 216 achievements for a perfect game. Luckily there is a script made by Deathifier!, that plays for you.

“Great work @Deathifier!

Worm.is: The Game

Worm.is: The Game

Though the game can in fact be a little addictive, the seemingly simple core gameplay (which is a slither.io clone, or imagine the old school Snake with multiplayer if you’ve never played slither.io) ends up coming down to who is willing to shell out money for the best gear if you want to genuinely play competitvely. That’s not to say it’s pay to win, because some good moves and being in the right place at the right time can and will get you places, but it’s always going to be a very short lived triumph without the gear to back it up. You CAN earn the ingame currency through playing, but the majority of the daily quests they hand out are for game modes that are veritable ghost towns, so unless you’re willing to grind away in this fashion for months on end, you aren’t going to get past around mid-tier gear. Couple this with some very questionable hit detection and lag spikes that will cause you to freeze up for a few seconds and then shoot very rapidly in whichever direction you happened to be facing when the lag hit (often directly into a wall or another worm) and I really can’t give this game a thumbs up. It’s free to play though, so if you’re just really bored, no harm in giving it a go, I suppose.

Real player with 29.7 hrs in game

This is a bad copy of a bad clone of a horrible game. Not only does the music in this game distract you from enjoying any little bit of possible glimmer of home this game has, but serious flaws in the games logistics keep the simplest benefits from being benefits.

For example-

Add free for all for random fun….except for 10 out of the 30 players are teamed up and working together as a team, and make it impossible to play.

Fix this by adding team play - except this is where people go to get away from the free for all, so they dont play as teams. They play to get exp to have a chance plater in the free for all.
