Notebook Artillery
Artillery games were one of the first games I played on a computer back in those antediluvian days of yore. This is a very nice successor to those games. The drawing style reminds me of a friend of mine’s style from high school and the blue-lined notebook paper is a really nice touch. Altogether very much worth the price.

The Frosted
The Frosted hand-drawn game based on the old-school mechanics & new school features about Ursula travelling around the magic world. Paper-like fairytale with a cute young girl whose character traits reveal during the game process create some intentionally shaped ambivalent effect.
The Features
Implementation of an ordinary story in old-school mechanics of Bomberman combined with new and variative elements such as an upgrade and inventory system; magic NPCs and secret rooms, mini games are wrapped into hand-drawn and animated graphics with the original sound.
The Game World Unsafe
Five unique biomes inhabited by numerous monsters and unpredictable bosses. Walk your way from the icy wastelands, through the magnificent mountain ridges and unsafe dungeons to the mysterious forbidden forest.
The Plot
The story unveils rights and wrongs of a person’s sacrifice in the name of the Greater Good. Player’s choices throughout the whole game may influence the ending: will Ursula lose the sense of reality or she will make a right choice? What is the right choice then?
The Art Style
The hand-drawn graphics and frame animations in the paper style are made by the designer of creative stands and 3D visualization.

Draw IT!
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/aALb7xq1NHU
So this is a drawing game that has two different modes. The main mode is your physics puzzler where you draw lines or place blocks to guide the ball through the obstacle course. You have an incentive to draw as few lines as possible to reach a higher score for the leaderboards. The second mode is just a sandbox mode where you can draw.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this game because of several issues. One of the biggest issues is the lack of content. There are only 9 levels, which I beat in less than 30 minutes. The second major issue are the poor interactions. You guide the ball through the obstacle course using a virtual joystick that is unwieldy to use. Every interaction in this game is poor and the game just lacks overall polish. It’s also ugly to look at.

Very interesting concept! I would love to see more out of this game going forward. After playing through a few levels, I found the game very relaxing and soothing.

Paper Planet
Paper Planet is an arcadey planet-defender game with a doodly, flash-inspired artstyle and a splash of roguelike!
Born from a love of old flash games and roguelikes, Paper Planet seeks to combine everything I love about the flash games of my childhood and the roguelikes that I’ve sunk countless hours into, taking the best of both worlds.
Gameplay Features:
-
Unique enemies in every zone!
No more fighter I, then fighter II, then fighter III, each enemy in Paper Planet is unique with its own attacks and behaviors! Instead of enemies simply scaling in health and damage they instead throw more difficult and varied challenges at the player as the game progresses.
-
Collect items with strange and powerful effects!
Items BUILT to synergize! Create massive swarms of bullets, walls of electricity, teleporting rocket bombs, you name it! Every item in Paper Planet is made to work with every other item, creating a near infinite number of different combinations and synergies out there to discover!
-
Battle awesome bosses!
Teleport through columns of fire! Dodge giant laser blasts! Fight swarms of minions! Paper Planet’s hand-animated bosses will keep you on your toes!
-
Challenge to keep you interested after hours and hours of play!
Whether you’re chasing a high combo score, or playing it like a one-hit-wonder with cursed items, or hunting for new and unique item combinations, Paper Planet is designed STAY interesting no matter how long you play it for.
Schmutznik
Unique visuals, casual gameplay, quite the feat coming from a one-man dev “team”.
Pros
-Unique visuals
-Easy-going, laid-back gameplay thanks to the generous checkpoints
-More or less reasonable price point
Cons
-Lack of music other than the menu and select few occasions
-Lack of ‘Settings’ menu
-More fluid controls would be welcome (ie. cancelling grapple animation)
-Screen vibration is killer
-No pause only restart or quit to menu
-Short
Schmutznik is a treat for the eyes and offers a mild but just about fun enough gameplay experience despite it’s shortcomings. While the total playtime you’re getting out of it is expected to be just shy of the 2 hour mark, at the 10 euro price point I’d say that’s a mostly fair proposition if for no other reason than at the very least to support and honour the creativity and the immense amount off work that has had to go into bringing this vision to life as a solo developer.

A very cute and colorful 2D platformer with puzzle elements. The mechanics and the art style(made with play-doh), are really unique.Simple, but creatively made levels, that won’t let you get bored - 8/10

I am Your King
It seems like a fun little game at first, but it often happens that enemies spawn directly on top of you and you die instantly!
Nothing you can do against it and it ruins all the fun. Will change review if dev fixes enemy spawning.

Pretty fun simple arcade game. Simple mechanics that are very unique.
Very rough around the edges, but hey It was worth the $3 I paid for.

Landing
That fact that I am giving this little indie gem it’s first review more than two full weeks after it launched shows the sad state on Steam of how the over saturation of asset flips and low effort garbage buries little treasures like this game.

A game that I played back on my old Commodore 64 called “Lander” is brought back to life here with the objective simply being mastering the controls of a rocket ship to get it from point A to point B. Using thrust and left and right steering seems simple enough sure, but mastering it is the real challenge.

This game is honestly very well done. I only played 10 minites so far but it hits me right in the nostalgia feels about old Lunar Lander flash games. It has lots of levels and different ships.
Only thin I wish would be for (xinput) controller support.

Rocket Blasters
this game is very fun :3

This game is great fun! For anyone who is into arcade style score chasers, this is a must have! At 1$, this is a total bargain. It is repetitive, but, somehow, that isn’t really a negative with this game. It really works with it. It is light-hearted from the art style, to the music. Lots of fun and a good way to just jump into a game and unwind.

The Runaway Feijoão
The game is very interesting, difficulty level intermediate.

Honestly I don’t really know what to say to this game.
It didn’t take me that long to finish the game but a few levels made me struggle.
It was a short game but I still had my fun. So with the low price, I don’t regret owning this game.
