Lost Technology
I suggest you read game’s store description first before reading this (I often don’t do it myself), it’s pretty informative regarding basic game process.
There are 4(5) gamemodes:
Prologue: Birth - basically a story mode where you get text based events by capturing territories or fulfilling specific conditions. Writing is pretty interesting for a doujin game, I find Reinald scenario in particular pretty amusing, you don’t see endings like that every day. You can also unlock new characters or their stronger versions for random mode by completing certain scenarios.

Definitely a bit of a niche title that is not without its flaws. Basically it is a turn-based overworld with interconnected nodes representing fields of battle which you can control for income, and real-time battles whenever those nodes are contested. So, kind of like Total War but with over-the-top magical abilities for the anime generals. I personally enjoy it very much despite its myriad of flaws. The game also has a wonderful selection of music that for me never grew stale.
If you pick it up, I strongly recommend reading a community guide for gameplay tips like below:

War of the Human Tanks - ALTeR
Welp, this certainly was a pleasent surprise. who would have thought that having a cute army of tank girls would be so interesting. The music is also interesting and I never tire of the battle/death cries of my, and my enemies, troops.
In the story there are acouple minutes of dialouge then a skirmish. For the battles, you must deploy a tank that acts like a king in chess, if she dies you lose (you can even have multiple). then you can make other units (if it is within the maps unit cap) like artillary (slow but long/wide range) shock tanks (fast/cheap/suicide explosion), assault tanks (medium speed, medium attack range) and much more. There is a fog of war, so you must proceed with care to find the enemy through scouting and prediction based on where you see them fire. You must build and upgrade your units by using supplies from winning or losing battles, so you may have to grind in the caverns or in free battles if you cannot preserve your troops.

This game… this goddarn game.
I’m not exactly sure where to start, so first off: this game is absolutely fantastic! I haven’t played EVERYTHING yet (still need to get Glitch-Heshiko and play the 2 or 3 optional Floor 90+ Battles), but still. The combination of Visual Novel and (Semi-)turn based Strategy game is beautiful and really well balanced, most if not almost all the tanks have their use and encourage players to figure out their favorite strategies and the Modules and combination of them just add to the fun (I still have fun giving my Peko-Peko a Tank Life ensurance and just making her explode, achieving absolutely nothing… I’m an Idiot.).

War of the Human Tanks - Limited Operations
Warning: 1000+ word review from a guy that’s way too passionate about a trilogy that features chibi girls that shoot at each other and explode. Please read if you have spare time.
The first two War of the Human Tanks games are among my favorite PC-exclusive games I have played so far. So, I bought the third game on the same year it was released and… it wasn’t my cup of tea. What made the Human Tank games so special to me is the ability to break the game with overpowered tanks and pit those tanks against other overpowered extra stage enemies in a game of dark chess. This game takes that away and makes you play fair and square with the opponent in a normal strategy game.

I’m going to write a lot of words about anime tanks because I really like this series and I don’t think anyone else knows it exists. The last game in the series, Limited Operations, has been out for around 9 months and has about a dozen reviews. Here’s a really long one and consider this a review for the series in general.
The War of the Human Tanks series is essentially anime Battleship. Fights are real time and pause when you click a unit to choose an action. There’s always a large fog of war and most units are of the one hit, one kill variety. Tanks are of the mass-produced style, outside of a couple of special NPC’s, and are permanently destroyed when killed in action. Tanks can also equip modules that you can create which do things like increase shooting range and area, increase movement and so on. Limited Operations changes the last few parts up, though.

TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE
I beat the game and its DLC in about 70 hours.
TL:DR Completely worth the price and time but it isn’t without its flaws.
If you are a fan of Advanced Wars this game feels like a spiritual successor while having several mechanical improvements over Advanced Wars that are most welcome. One example being the way infantry capture bases. Now Lancers cap at a rate of 7 at full HP and HQs require 25 to fully capture.
If you have never played a turn based tactical game this is a solid first entry. Now that being said there are several flaws that are minor but worth mentioning.

Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble is a VAST improvement over the first game. I maxed out at 6 hours on the first Tiny Metal and as of the time of this writing I’ve hit 21 hours in FMR. The devs did an excellent job listening to community feedback. The biggest additions are: transport vehicles, munitions & fuel management, CO powers, and hugely improved AI. Nevermind the many added units to keep things interesting.
I am a long time AW fan who started playing in 2003 or so on the GBA. TM:FMR is the closest thing we have today on PC to the classic games. The game is deep, fun, and balanced. Missions are designed intelligently and the Hard difficulty is giving me a run for my money deep into the campaign. Literally all I’ve done this entire time is play through the campaign and I’m not sure I’m even close to the finish line at 21 hours in. Beyond the campaign you’ve got skirmish maps and multiplayer. I was looking forward to the multiplayer but there is no automatch system and people don’t seem to host lobbies often. However, the game does have a Discord and people are arranging matches there, so there’s that. I hear the multiplayer base is more active on Switch. Just FYI.

Panzer Knights
UPDATED:
Panzer Knights is a very promising tank action game. It’s still rough around the edges and there’s a lot of development to go, but it’s well worth supporting and I would happily pay more for the complete product. Since my original review there have been many additions and improvements.
PROS:
-
Excellent visual design both in terms of the tanks and the characters. The artist and model maker did an excellent job.
-
There are good number of tanks and many crew characters to choose from, including lots of pretty girls - though there are men too if want to make it a little less gratuitously moe. Since the male and female crew have the same skillsets anyway, I imagine most of us are going to use the girls. As for the tanks, you get a decent variety of well known vehicles such as Panzer III, Panzer IV, Panther, and Tiger each in two or three variants.

Do you like tanks? Do you like World War 2 history? Are you a complete massive wehraboo? Then this is the game for you.
This game takes aspects from WOT and War Thunder. Specifically the arcadey shooting of the former with the realistic tank movements of the latter. The game is pretty fun, large variety of tanks and crews with some camos to unlock to give you a bit of customization. Crewmates can have their skills improved as you gain more money therefore allowing you to perform better on the battlefield.

The main weapons, secondary weapons and long-range weapons are freely combined, with complex and diverse terrain and fierce Skynet enemy.
TINY METAL
TINY METAL is a fun but rushed little game that should have released in Early Access first. If you are looking for something to scratch your Advance Wars itch, you won’t quite find it here, but there’s nothing else that’s better and it could be much worse. I rated it positively because while it is flawed, it is still a quality game and I wish to support our best bet at getting an enjoyable successor to Advance Wars.
PROS
-
Graphics, artwork, and animations are quality.
-
Good voice acting in English and Japanese.

This review is a bit long, so get ready for some reading.
After about 6 hours of nonstop play from the moment I could buy it, I can definitly say that I recommend this game to anyone that’s into Turn Based Strategy games. If you’ve ever played Fire Emblem or, most obviously, Advance Wars, you’ll get the hang of things fairly quickly.
I have a rig that’s overkill for a game like this, with an i7-7700k processor and an Invidia GTX 1080 GPU, this game ran perfectly for me, but I imagine that much weaker systems would have an easy time running it as well since it’s not particularly graphicaly intensive.

Moe Moe World War II-3 Deluxe Edition 萌萌2次大戰(略)3豪華限定版
So far i can say the game is fun with some comedy aspects, the battles are a mix of being easy where you don’t really need to think of a strategy whereas others require planning out the moves so it can be quite challenging plus Vendetta is best girl (just had to mention it) the game has a nice story line for what I’ve played. For recommending i guess if u like WW2 tanks, planes and boats as waifu’s it’s got the thumbs up for that and some fun game play which at some points can become annoying if your not good at planning ahead of turns (got rekt a few times) but apart from that the stability of the game is nice and very enjoyable hope the rest of the series makes it to steam as well.
