Wolf’s Gang

Wolf’s Gang

Wolf’s Gang is the RPG Maker MZ Game that I first played. And also first completed. Wolfgang’s story has an amazing story tell. Instead of playing and learning the usual heroes in the game I get to learn the monsters and the villains of the story too. But turns out the monsters are misunderstood villains. The combat in this game is pretty good actually but I almost feel little confused on who is the enemies turn. The soundtrack in the game is very soothing and very amazing to listen to in the game. The maps maybe a little small, But it is very beautiful too look at. The characters almost have a major role but the thing is that the chosen party members did not come appear in the cut scenes like the heroes did not answer why Badger joined the Wolf’s Gang And in the ending? (spoilers)

It’s nice enough. Graphically I love it, the story is short but okay. Max 2hours of gameplay total. I wish the army was some more sophisticated system than “add people and stats”, but I get that it was just a sample. 7 locations and 4 recruitable characters (+Wolf you), unless I missed some ;) Fights are boring, and a timer in battle VERY annoying, especially with your actions happening at the same time as the opponents (sometimes it was hard to figure what was going on, and if you wait, they attack again like you missed turn). Worth trying to check if RPG Maker games are for you.

Mokoko X

Mokoko X

About

Mokoko X was inspired from the arcade games like Volfied, Qix and Gals Panic. A popular gaming style in the late 1980’s, Mokoko X looks to resurrect the soul of the arcade genre while adding a modern touch. There are 32 levels in Mokoko X; each level has its own unique boss and minions. The main goal is assisting the girls that need help from the weird bosses. This is sometimes passing a mobile game level, sometimes helping out with the insects in the kitchen.

Gameplay

You need to conquer a big portion of the initial area that you start the level. While you are in your own area, you are safe from the enemies until your shield empties. You conquer new areas by drawing out of your area. Drawing, however, deactivates your shield and exposes you to danger. Your shield decreases constantly. If you do not conquer at a certain frequency, your shield will burn out and you will not be safe on your own areas as well.

There are 3 difficulties in the game. The difficulty affects enemies, your shield, and required conquered area percentage for the victory.

What happens when you pass a level?

You see the related girl’s photo and can continue with her story or unlock the next girl.

How many girls and bosses?

8 girls, 24 bosses, 24 minions, 24 levels, 8 mega levels, 4 traps, 4 power-ups, and 2 towers! Evil towers of course. Each boss and his minions were uniquely designed. They all have different attack types and behaviors, which consist of rich content.

Key Features

  • 8 girls to help

  • 32 levels with 24 unique bosses with their minions

  • 24 absurd stories that will reveal details about the bosses and the girls

  • Fully animated, Japanese and English voice overs for all the characters!

  • Lovely graphics!

  • Traps, towers, crates and bonus effects

  • Arcade Mode

  • Live high scores displayed for hardcore players

  • Nostalgia remastered!

A Gay Love Story About Gay Love

A Gay Love Story About Gay Love

It is what it is, but not what you actually are thinking about. A Gay Love Story About Gay Love is not shoving it in your face and sets out a story where two men are in love and stuck in a war, where they struggle to keep the love afloat until…

Game play is quite unique along the other games by Sigyaad, controls take a while to get used to but are quickly adaptable in the end, sucks that the dev couldn’t remove the [esc] error the game has. But this game is still heavy on story and not game play, so the simplicity of the fights are nice to have here, just as a quick change of pace before the deeper parts of the tale.

A Gay Love Story About Gay Love is probably one of the better games out since Black Ops 1. My friend who practices hot gay steamy sex with men recommended and even went as far as to gift me the game, has shown me a new light in the future of story-driven video games. I couldn’t have been any more pleased with the outcome. I’ve played this game many of times and I don’t think that I would ever stop replaying.

The turn-based gameplay is could not be anymore enjoyable, and the battle(s) are simple yet pleasing to see. The BGM is another piece of the game that will bring tears to your eyes. The “Beach Theme” gives off a classic feeling of how tropical islands soundtrack should sound; giving off an almost bossa nova style feeling. While the “Battle Theme” is and intense mix of intricate melodies and a beat that will have you bopping in an instant. The illustrations and characters have color and life, unlike other games that TRY to be as great.

Hell Blasters

Hell Blasters

I’m fairly new to playing shoot em ups (shmups) to actually be good at them rather than just credit feed my way through an arcade game. I wanted to get into ‘bullet hell’ shmups but the games are really intimidating. This game was recommended because the designer is an accomplished bullet hell player who made the gameplay the top priority - and made it so you can use the story mode to actually learn to play a bullet hell.

It’s been an absolute blast and the story mode really delivers bite sized chunks of training and the arcade so you can practice them and learn how to deal with the enemies.

Real player with 24.4 hrs in game

This is the Bluesmobile of shmups. It may not look like much on the outside, but it’s got the cop motor, cop tires, and probably even the cig lighter. Great level design & bullet patterns, a ton of modes, leader board & replays, great shmup tunes, it’s all there. Great work, devs!

Twilight Memoria

Twilight Memoria

I’ve always been a diehard fan of the RPG that carries the ATB system. Just mention it like Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII, IX they are all my favorites! So when I saw a new RPG maker game that carried this system, I was very enthusiastic.

This might be my serious review considering that I really support the indie game climate of the JRPG genre.

1. Opening

The first time I played, I felt a stutter in the map scrolling section in the village; it made my head quite dizzy I don’t know why; is this my VGA error? I don’t understand, but I tried to hold it and play again.

JUST COMPLETED.

TL;DR 9/10 GAME.

This game is good but needs some fixing. Let me describe my playing experience below:

Twilight Memoria is an RPG game where you play as two children: Rucifar and Luna, in a fantasy world full of monsters. They play around their village and help other villagers with their monster-hunting and alchemy skills. They either hunt monsters, or craft items to use in battle or to aid them in their quests. It’s a heartwarming, everyday life type story where you are not in some big adventure or saving the world, but the game is still very challenging in the battle system and how you survive your quests. UPDATE: THE ENDING WILL STRIKE YOU IN UNEXPECTED WAYS. THIS IS GOOD.

Biodrone Battle

TLDR : Cheap Tuesdays, Bundle-Galore, Botline Miami wanna-be with cheap control scheme and user interface, and somewhat broken firing and stealth mechanics that cant hook you on despite its fast paced gameplay and somewhat decent sci fi premise.

Biodrone battle is a flash game / mobile game style top down shooter set in a generic sci fi theme. The game has a few ideas and gimmicks like a stealth button that makes your unit go black and in theory invisible and you can use alt fire to stun lock opponents then ram in them to capture them. You can them morph between one of three types of units that are featured in the game, the optional objective being to capture everyone rather than kill. However, mechanically, the game didnt feel like it was doing what it should, I could stealth and get shot at even if I stealthed before being in field of view of anyone, I could fight against a unit thats the same type as me, hit it multiple times, and still get one shot by them. Additionally, the restart and continue buttons would sometimes bug out and refuse to work, or the help menu would refuse to minimize, and other little control/UI annoyances that made that cheapened the general feel of it. The way the game handled FOV related to vision worked okay, and it seemed like there were about 30 levels to go through, and the game even affords you to skip levels by unlocking 7 whole levels as you unlock tutorial, but ultimately, the universe and setting was shallow, the assets were acceptable for the genre but unremarkable, and the setting was generic but acceptable. It is the mechanical flaws and overall lack of any sense of why you should bother with this that killed it for me within the first 10 minutes. I got this in a bundle so I will simply delete it from library and hide it from Steam. If someone mastered this and found it to be a hidden gem of some kind then refer to them and their review for an explanation but I am going to recommend my friends they stay away from this sorry devs.

Real player with 12.2 hrs in game

Don’t be fooled by the simplistic visage of Biodrone Battle. Underneath its surface there are a gauntlet of challenging levels and smart enemies to test your skill.

PROS:

  • The “morphing” mechanic-adds another element to the twich shooting mechanics of the typical top-down shooter, and makes into more of a tactical affair. Tactical in the sense that you get 3 slots to fill with drones that have different strengths and weaknesses, which can be employed in different situations. It also presents more than one way to advance through levels, as you are limited by the amount of energy and must mix fighting and morphing to survive. Gameplay with each drone takes on a different tone, as the special powers of each as well as their speed, range, and attack power make
