Kaiju Crush

Kaiju Crush

Admittedly, I haven’t finished the game yet, but I think I’ve seen enough of it to share my opinion with you:

I overall recommend it, but with a big caveat — the game is not quite what it seems.

What I mean by that is that the game describes itself as having “silly anime goodness”, and while it does have it to some extent, the game takes itself far more seriously than it needs to. I think the best way to describe it would be like if you were invited to a fun party, which actually turned out to be a summit on environmental issues in disguise. There’s nothing wrong with having a discussion about this, of course, but not when you expect to get something else.

Worst visual novel ever. The story is not interesting and you can’t even make your first choice until like 30 minutes in! It has 10 endings apparently but I got 3; one where Wifuzilla killed me, one where Wifuzilla killed me, and one where Wifuzilla killed me. I played for 2 hours with barely any story progression or character development. Every choice for the most part is a 50/50 chance of the game just ending with your death. If you aren’t going to let the players play just self publish a book on Amazon. I’d even read that because, to say one good thing about the game, it raised some interesting points about the genre a couple of times, but other than that its not good. Its far from the choose your own adventure game that you expect it to be. I sure hope my refund is approved cause $9.99 is insane. My guess is it costs that much because it is long af. Gangam Style

The Call Centre

The Call Centre

This game is half an hour long. There’s no sound effects or music, just some barely animated stock library anime sprites supposed to represent your co-workers. Horribly written dialogue with poor grammar and multiple spelling mistakes every sentence, very few branching paths or dialogue possibilities. Did I mention it’s half an hour long?

I played it because I liked the premise having worked in a call centre before and love visual novels, but with so little “game” here I don’t think it’s worth even a fraction of what the dev is charging. Frankly I’ve played free visual novels which have better production values and effort put in than this.

At face value, The Call Centre does not work at all as a game: It is slow, soul crushing and completely shallow at its core. However, as a meta-joke about customer service work, The Call Centre is painfully real in presenting the world of phone work as accurately as it ever would need to. It is a world where the general public continue to disappoint you, a world where toxic work environments bring out the worst in those who thrive on it and prey on those with the best intentions. I think Junaid, perhaps naively, went into this with those exact intentions and a commendable effort he even tried to really. Not many games thrive on the same concepts of a drab, day-to-day, office environment, with Paper’s Please and Stanley Parable being the only ones that spring to mind. The anime, visual novel, inspired look is something I can appreciate too. That said, there needs to be a bit more to The Call Centre than that, so players stay gripped on the idea. At the very least though, the heart is in the right place

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gambling

Every so often a game comes along that revolutionizes a genre or gaming as a whole. This is one of those games.

With ICBING, there are no gimmicks, no bamboozles. No pre-order bonuses, no DLC, no map packs, nothing. Just a rich gaming experience. The moment you start the game you get right to it. You are greeted by your first challenge. The trashcan. All alone in a stunningly generated room with next gen graphics. From here the game changing design intuitively kicks in as you are greeted with a button. “Open Loot Box” After a few moments of taking in the beautifully generated trash can, I decide to take the plunge… I press the button. Upon the pressing of the button, the trashcan draws in closer and shakes… again… and once more as it erupts like a geyser. Emerging from this amazingly lifelike trash can is what can only be described as gifts from our one and only. Gaben. My rewards for embarking on the journey of clicking the button. To my amazement, it is equally beautifully generated additions for my trashcan. Different trash bags, trashcan lids, thrown out Trump protest signs. I can truly express my individuality through my very own unique and custom trashcan.

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gambling is a parody of the ongoing dilemma of loot boxes within games, taking our hard earned money and rewarding us with the same item for the 50th time.

Pros:

-Joy of opening loot boxes and receiving absolute crap without the massive dent in your wallet.

-Not BF2, a simple game which does not have ridiculous DLC’s .

-It has Steam Achievements.

Cons:

-My joy for opening lootboxes has been killed now.

If you dislike playing for lootboxes, but still want to open them up then this is the game for you

磨难之间 SUFFERING: Reincarnation of Sins

磨难之间 SUFFERING: Reincarnation of Sins

This is my first review ever so bare with me.

I have 20 something hours on this game , i have beaten 4 BOSSES and i own 2 suffering souls so far.

I love the hard orientation of the game and the way you learn to play it.Some of the BOSSES mechanics testing my patience but i love that part to.

The graphics , the atmosphere and the music are absolutely captivating.

Lastly from impressions i like the “find yourself” strategy for each BOSS and how you manage to “Find " suffering souls.

What i would like to see in game is:

CUCKOLD SIMULATOR: Life as a Beta Male Cuck

CUCKOLD SIMULATOR: Life as a Beta Male Cuck

I’ve been a cuckold for 50 years now. And after 60 hours this really does help the simple minded man understand the ways of a beta cuck. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand cuckolding. The kink is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of inter-sectional feminism most of the empowerment will go over a typical cuck’s head. There’s also the Bull’s aggressive outlook, which is deftly woven into his role - his personal mannerisms draw heavily from the mating habits of bovine animals, for instance. The cucks understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of being cuckolded, to realize that it’s not just arousing - it says something deep about DIVERSITY. As a consequence people who dislike cuckolding truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the power of when the woman says “leave the room Cuckold you’re breaking Tyrone’s concentration,” which itself is a cryptic reference to the plight of African-American males in the United States. I’m smugly grinning right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as The Bull’s strong African seed ejaculates itself on my wife. What bigots… how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a cuck tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for The Bull’s eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they’re within 7 inches above of my own (preferably higher) beforehand.

I couldn’t recommend a masterpiece more than this one. Within this game, you take hold of a cinematically structured character who’s actions and unique dialogues encase yourself in the game. With the riveting gameplay, plotlines, graphics, you would think you were playing a game made by Valve, Bethesda, Blizzard, Activision, and shit maybe even Bungie with a $50 Billion budget within 20 years in the making. The amount of connections and indepth character detail/development, you would think you were just living through the eyes of a real person. This mere review doesn’t serve this game justice, maybe one day the world will experience this game and war, hunger, poverty, racism with be abolished by the light of “Cuckold Simulator: Life as a Beta Male Cuck”.

RANKINGS F’D ME

So there is not a lot to this game. The only reason I put in so many hours into it (which essentially is just letting the game run) is because I felt I could top the leaderboards.

Well, I did top the leaderboards. But apparently, right around 2.2 billion people, the score caps out and sets you back at 0. 1700 HOURS TO GET THERE AND IT SETS ME BACK AT 0.

Boring, bland “gameplay”. Your grind coins to dress your girl and money to upgrade earth(which was really buggy for me).

Not many options for customizing the girl(only one body shape).

The “card game” is way too random in my opinion. English is not my first language but I think it’s called “happy families”?

Any way it’s a very bland and lame version of it.

It also features an unnecessary calculator.

The featured webbrowser was ok I guess, tho I have no idea why it is there in the first place.

All in all I don’t think this was worth my money.

I found this game through a video of Alpha Beta Gamer and decided to watch it out of pure boredom. I stopped at about 15 minutes in because I was enjoying the dialogue and jokes so much I decided to experience the game myself without any spoilers.

All the characters have great designs and are very likable,

! even some of Nari’s lines made me smile and relieved me of some of the tension built up from the unknown.

The game has 10 different endings, and the true ending for getting the other endings. They’re not too hard to get and if you get stuck there’s a great guide which tells what you need to select.

! The dancing ending is the best one though.

‘We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world’' - Gautama Buddha

What a deep quote huh? Definitely not the kind of words you’d expect to use for an opening to a review for a ‘demo’ but then again MetaWare High School (Demo) is not your typical demo. It begins innocently as a multi-character VN each with their own unique personalities to provide the Reader with some depth and variety during the first of many playthroughs. It then gradually morphs into a mesh of dark humour, philosophical ramblings & sardonic irony truly hooking the Reader into this multiple choice branching of five High School females who curiously try to interact with the Reader after discovering his/her presence.

This game is quite short but intense. English translation is fine. Sounding Stone showed good potential from this project. It is worth playing. The final completeness of this game depends on the sequels. We look forward to them too. Recommended!

Its a good 2D style anime Detective game with great Storyline mix with comedy. You play as duo partner with one having a power of speaking to dead spirits to find clues on the crime scene. Theres even different endings too which makes u to play it again to find other ending. A great game would recommend to try it out.

Principais pontos positivos:

1-Uma excelente história de detetive.

2-A trilha sonora é espetacular.

Principais pontos negativos:

1- Achei o controle por mouse estranho, então eu recomendaria jogar pelo teclado no lugar. Mas não é nada que impeça o usuário de jogar do começo ao fim usando só o mouse!
