Deep Lake: Prologue
nice opening music. nice graphics. Story is okay- from what I can make of it. Bad translation in parts which made it hard to follow. For example the mc stepped in a ‘paddle’ twice and got his feet wet smh. I hope the later installments fix this. Might be pretty good if they do. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and thumb this one up, but if there’s no improvement, I’ll have to change my recommendation.

This is the first ‘visual novel’ I have experienced. It isn’t a game; you don’t make any choices. So, having gotten over that expectation, I will proceed.
Obviously a novel needs an interesting story, and this is interesting. I imagine it is better in Russian, but since I don’t understand a single character of Cyrillic, I had to make do with the English version. It needs some work. I was able to get the gist of what they were saying most of the time, but an important part of a novel, to me, is how the story is told. So in order to make this a successful English visual novel, they’re going to need to find a fluent Russian/English translator. Google Translate just doesn’t do it. You can’t use the word ‘defile’ when you mean ‘define.’ Two totally different meanings.

Game Tycoon 2
- First of all, this is not a Game Dev Tycoon! These two games may share similar topic, but the concepts are different. *
I’m recommending this game, because I enjoyed both first and second game in series, and there are only few games of this genre available. Sure, it has it’s pros and cons, but I think that true fans will find a way to enjoy it.
The game it self may be clunky, with not so sharp graphics, but underneath it is a true tycoon game. Tutorials may be better, but at the end it is us who needs to discover the whole game (yes, game developers wanted to be mysterious).

Not a bad game, but, frankly, it fails to reach the “standard” quality of the genre,
If you want to check, I own the majority of the “game development” games on Steam (and also some “small” non-Steam productions).
I have put this game at the end of the list and I’m really sorry to say this.
The main problems are:
- there is a good tutorial, but this doesn’t help to understand how a game… sell! There is a strange feedback system that helps very little (there is a quality rating and a “professional” rating: this could work, but, at the end, only makes you create the best games on the market and see them selling very little…)

VR Kanojo / VRカノジョ
VR experience is quite good, but could be better.
Way over priced for what you get, and the fact that it is censored, why? - Yes you can download a patch to uncensor it, but why should you have to?
If you are buying this for a sexual fantasy, don’t. Download some VR porn off the internet, there is plenty of it out there, and a much better experience, if you are into that.
If you are just interested in VR technology with a bit of kinky thrown into the mix then you should like this - but not for full price. Put it on your wish list and wait for a discount of about 50% or more.

TL;DnR: It is abandonware, which matters because the full experience requires a patch that is no longer available from the manufacturer.
The game is really well done, however it is incomplete, requiring a patch from Illusion’s website in order to unlock the full game.
However, Illusion has stopped supporting it, and the download is no longer available. There are… 3rd party mods available, but I don’t want to pay full price for abandonware, and cannot recommend the game because of it.

Edit: No word on the Oculus exclusive content, but English subtitles have been added! Hope to see the Oculus stuff brought to this version soon!
Newly released Oculus version contains more content and English subtitles. Steam version has not received an update since June of last year. The Oculus version is not available in my region, (UK). Until either the Steam version is updated, or the Quest version is released in UK, I will leave a negative review to express my dissatisfaction.

Beach Restaurant
Not even worth 1 buck.
Just a bad asset flip with no improvement at all, bad game mechanics, poor execution and boring as hell. The “game” is so poorly designed that Level 18 is literally impossible to finish because you never get enough orders in the time allotted and since it takes forever for people to waaaaaaalk to their spot and order, you lose every time. That’s how much thought they put into it.
Assets are one thing but they don’t make a game, thanks for proving it once again.

I bought this game purely for fun to play and relax. Everything in the game is very simple and straightforward, you serve customer orders. Each client has his own unique taste, you make the wrong dish, you will lose the client. I got positive emotions, I rate the game 8 out of 10 cheeseburgers.

The Last of Waifus
This Game is a perfect example of imperfect neo-futurist pop quasi-mentalism escapisms of post-modernist identity regression as antiimpericritical misinterpretations of nihilism in regards to deconstructions biomechanomorphism, or understanding the quad-reversal super-string paradox of free-feeding big bang sentimentality, the farce of neural-network simulation, the ignominy of contemporary procedural analysis, and the recalcitrance of systematic deliberation with regard to the phenomenology of integrated micro-circuitry, and the electronic transmissions of encrypted information, or sustaining the art of perspective as illusion through a meditated observation in the universal dynamism, preferential acceptances or dismissals of established objectifications of innate structures and meanings, an extensive and intimate exploration of the vast complexities of the self and environment, an unmitigated categorization of impulses and experiences which are both intrinsic and apparently unique to sentient creatures. It’s an inherent impassioned proclivity to the efficacious presentation of expressible knowledge as communication.. a determinable mystically cautious propensity to the semi-congruous attainments of emotional maturity and psychological awareness, stability and preservation with a persistent inclination to the heightened sensibilities of a detachably informant entity, and a comprehensive recognition of instinctual and cognative behaviors, and of the significances in necessity thereof with the formal examination of order, the biophysical and neurophysiological constituents of living organisms, their inter-relational associations with respect to stimuli, traditions, positions, other organisms, possessions and dominions. Or maintaining an authoritative and thorough documentation and investigation.

Bought this at full price (about the price of a small burger in my area) because it was in my “The Community Recommends” section and I trust my fellow gamers.
Settings
The post processing setting’s highest level is PC Master Race. There are a bunch of settings related to VoiP, muting the enemy team, etc. despite the game being singleplayer just so you can customize your experience to your liking.
There is also an FOV slider. Fortnite doesn’t have an FOV slider, but The Last of Waifus game does. The FOV slider goes from 0 to 160 and does nothing. It’s simply sitting there and lying to you, just like the women in my life.

Discouraged Workers TEEN
A quite weird visual novel, actually.. in some senses.
First point - there is no interaction, there are no choices until the end of the game, which is fortunately quite long for its genre, even if you have constantly the feeling of being unable to have an impact on the game itself.
Towards the end, you are asked to save some times (only twice actually but anyways XD) and you can make your first and only choices.. but nothing really breathtaking, although they’re of course fundamental for the (few) endings.

This game is pretty short, but the storyline drew my attention. Discouraged Workers is a visual novel game that includes a depressed 28 year old woman struggling to find a job (discouraged). There’s three routes in this game I believe, however there’s a lack of interactivity till the end of the storylines.

ANIME WAR — Modern Campaign
Anime war is a game that was very clearly made in a bit of a rush, with not much original content, yet with these things in mind, it manages to create much more gripping experience then many games do throughout hours of gameplay. It’s unique twist on a classic military shooter creates a much needed shake up in an overused, beaten to death genre.
Compared to most sniper focused games, the game is fast paced. It forgoes the many slow and meticulous aspects of your average long-range-barrelled-rifle-assassination game. This is signified succinctly by one mechanic, when you ADS (Aim-Down-Sights) you initially simply look over your characters shoulder, rather than scoping in; to scope in you must press the middle mouse button, and if you release the right mouse button and press it again it will go back to the shoulder view. This is an intellectually astounding way of explaining the gameplay speed to the player. Another thing that makes it so interesting to play is that, if you hammer the grenade button like a nail (a hammer is a tool used to impress nails (a pointy peace of metal used to attach two things such as wood or similar together) deep into something) then you will throw multiple a second, and there is an infinite supply of them. Some may call this a bug, but I say it is a masterful feature, which allows strategies of infinite complexity. Overall the gameplay is masterfully assembled, and it is clear Konichiwa games knows what they are doing.

Evil God Korone
The Philosophical implications of this games detailed, and invigorating story writing will be felt for generations to come. I’ve spent over 300 hours contemplating the pure prose that has been inscribed on the title screen - “Offer Yubi” what does that really mean? I remain hopeful that my dedicated studies to this game and the message behind it will finally offer me one thing; an end to the voices. I hope that if I remain stalwart and studious in my journey to mental awakening I can finally crack the universal code, and realize my goals of having Korone clean my kitchen and make me a red velvet cake with extra cream cheese frosting right next to my wife Tsumugi Kotobuki.

Tsugunohi in general is very hard to recommend. They’re walking simulators involving small horror stories, with the theme being that each day gets weirder and creepier (And with more jumpscares). Korone’s story is no different even if sold separately.
However, this story mostly involves the inside jokes arround Korone and her streams on a spooky turn, so is further difficult to recommend to someone unfamiliar with either her or Vtubers in general (Granted, Tsugunohi has a Kizuna Ai story). As a big Korone fan like myself you’ll have a good experience during both runs (As the second time unlocks a new ending), but someone out of the rabbit hole will simply see a creepy cult story.
