Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
Very awesome fighting game.
It’s a cross-over fighting game, but I was able to enjoy it with no knowledge of most characters when I first started.
It’s an anime fighter, as one could tell from the anime artstyle. Thus, you will encounter some mechanics from similar games such as air-dashes, a focus on long and flashy combos, burst and roman cancel systems, etc.
Like other fighters of this subgenre, normals are split into three buttons: A, B, and C, representing Light, Medium, and Heavy attacks. This game also include additional buttons D and E for even slower and stronger normals, as well as a universal dash-cancelling system.

When I was spending a year away from my regular school at my local community college, I always hung out in a room on campus where there were guys playing YuGiOh, Vanguard, emulators via a Nintendo Wii, and one guy always playing various fighting games.
There were 3 I remember the most, Tekken 6, BlazBlue (Don’t remember which one though), and this game. I played it with him a few times, liked what I saw, but I couldn’t get my hands on it, lack of a Playstation to put the disc into and all that. So, when I woke up to see that this game got released on steam and I had a coupon given to me because of some cross-promotion with Skullgirls (another phenomenal fighter), I spent little time adding the money to my steam wallet to pick this one up.

Florensia
I have been playing this game on an off for about 8 years, before the new server even came out and have probably wasted more than 3000 hours of my life across several accounts and multiple different characters. I find the game itself quite fun although it can be repetitive at times with its mundane combat system and buggy naval combat, however, what plagues this game the most is the absence of options for free to play players to get gear or equipment that could be considered at least mediocre: before the elite dungeons update, free to play players could make a decent amount of money by grinding sea levels and gathering magic crystals (a valuable in game resource). However, after the update even that option got removed as magic crystals became way more common and the only viable way to get better gear became spending real money in the game.Overall the game is pretty good and can be fun if played with friends for the first time, but is an absolute pay to win nightmare.

First of all, sorry for my poor english, its not my first language.
I’ve played this game for a long time before it came to steam, im very happy it still alive! This simple MMORPG taught me how to play with a keyboard, since it was the one of the firsts game i’ve ever played on a PC. This game have amazing songs, and the graphics are cute (at least before you leave the first island), but they work very well with the atmosphere. As you progress, you have to sail to another islands, and you can control you battleship on the ocean, listening to the greatests songs in the game.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus
Neutral, slightly positive recommendation. I spent most of my time playing online in ranked and EU lobbies. Master Rank Lowain.
It’s an absolutely amazing game, and very easily the second best fighter in the eyes of this fightstick addict. But oh boy does it suffer from a lack of love from its devs and publishers…
You expect an anime fighter like BlazBlue or Guilty Gear but instead you get a super “pure”, polished game centered on footsies and fundamentals. It’s great for both beginners and experts and gets mechanical simplification right (I’m looking at you Fantasy Strike).

So I think this might be my first ever Steam review? But anyways, I play a lot of fighting games, and played the hell out of this on PS4 before it came to PC too so my hours might not reflect my actual gameplay time.
But I think this is deserving of a talk about as unlike most fighting games, this game is designed for both longtime fighting game players and new/casual players coming into it.
PROS:
- Simple to play, hard to master: Granblues specials are not like other fg’s where you have to always use things like dragon punch inputs, fireball inputs, charge motions etc to access them, they offer simple inputs as well as manual inputs. This is good for newer players who may struggle with these inputs while still encouraging to learn the manual inputs as the penalty for it is a slightly longer cooldown on the skill for using the easy inputs. Supers can also be done with simple inputs. But yeah, by far this is the biggest reason I love this game, I love the accessibility of it and yet how hard it can be to beat someone better than you in this game. It’s very simple to see where you are going wrong, and it’s a great game to improve yourself in, that’s what I love about this game the most.

This in an update to my previous review. In my previous review I did not recommend this game, due to the devs being greedy, since they locked half of the beta classes behind a paywall. They have recently made the game game, they are also currently working on fixing the rebirth system. Since by definition it is currently pay2win. Now we are still waiting to see how easy it will be to earn rebirths for new players and my review will change accordingly (ie If they make them free but they become an impossibly long grind to get a single rebirth).

MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA
as a person who has lots of sex all the time, i can say that this game is 100% accurate to having sex with sexy women. like i do. everyday. this game did not make me horny however. i am not gay. i just have too much sex with real women to spend more than 15 minutes in this game. on the other hand i would recommend this game to people who do not have sex (unlike me because i have lots of sex with women a lot) as there is a naked woman in it and she is naked. she kinda looks like one of my many girlfriends who i have sex with a lot. i have lots of sex. i also an very handsome and women ALWAYS want to have sex with me because i am very muscular and handsome and very good at video games. all my girlfriends say im very good at sex and playing video games and being handsome. one of my girlfriends asked me to have sex with her but i told her i was playing a sex game instead so she started crying and became a lesbian and killed herself because i did not have sex with her. i have sex with women. not men. i am not gay. i am very cool and handsome so girls always have sex with me because i am very cool and sexy. my penis is very big. all my girlfriends like my penis because it is very big and i am very good at sex with my women. every woman ive had sex with is very sexy and so am i. i have lots of sex. i am also very handsome and sexy and i have lots of sex.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina is an excellent first fighting game for anyone looking to learn the basics without being overwhelmed, but it’s also an enjoyable game for fighting game veterans. Though the base roster is a bit limited given the price tag, the mechanics, art, animations, and general gameplay are all top-notch. Beginners can get their feet wet with auto-combos, and then gradually increase the sophistication of their gameplay by using more difficult combos and taking advantage of the many enjoyable game mechanics like Heat and Moon Drive. Most importantly, the rollback netcode makes it easy to find matches against people with good connections even if nobody nearby plays the game.

GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-
You get an album during the purchase, and apparently it comes along with a free game.
Which is also packed with:
-
Flashy, stylish and gorgeous character, all packed with different weaknesses and strenght to suit your gameplan, provided you have one. If not, well, might aswell try out other characters to goof around with.
-
Plays the Album during the gameplay to rock along while you fight. All characters comes along with thier own themed soundtracks, pretty swell to listen to, and goes amazingly as you brawl through the mayhem.

Koi-Koi Japan [Hanafuda playing cards]
I just plain love it!
Hanafuda is a tough game to describe. When people ask me about it I usually just say “It’s a lot like Go Fish, but with a deck of Japanese flower cards”. This is only partially true, the game is a bit deeper than that, but at it’s core the game mixes chance and strategy into a really fun, really unique match game. The cards, the rules and the scoring can appear daunting at first, but once I got the hang of it (I have some experience with this game elsewhere) it is a really great and unique card game.
– Real player with 51.8 hrs in game
I can’t recommend this game at full price. If you have friends to play with, it might be worth buying in a sale.
Koi-koi is a Japanese card-matching game using Hanafuda cards. It requires the players to match same-suit pairs of cards from twelve suits of four cards to produce sets (‘yaku’).
This implementation of koi-koi is very basic. The single-player AI is predictable, and not particularly hard to win against. The single-player mode doesn’t have a lot of replayability value, as it’s just the same game over and over. The single-player DLC requires the player to make certain yaku to progress. Some of these are very rare. While the pictures that you get as a reward are nice, it’s immensely frustrating to be unable to progress until you get an ideal hand.

NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER
This review is purely based on my personal experience as a solo player.
Pros
-
You can build your customized ninja with 4 different roles.
-
Fun to play with friends or as first time.
-
Plenty variety of characters “Masters” with their signature moves included that your ninja can learn. Also their 2D art it’s pretty cool.
-
It’s fun to run over the walls and jump from them since your ninja will always use Chakra concentration automatically.
-
Some events from time to time and you get cool stuff.
– Real player with 678.1 hrs in game
To be fair, this game honestly has one of the best combat mechanics in any game I’ve ever played thus far, and I’d wanna see more games with similar mechanics to it. The game also features some neat character customization and give some cool rewards for events which are completely achievable for anyone. So with those said, the problems lie elsewhere.
1. There is a jarring amount of bugs - although you cannot expect a game to be completely bug-free, this game has jarring amount of it. Examples include but are not limited to a) Screen dimming after a cut scene b) Ability indicators would display cooldown when inflicted by certain skills despite being entirely unaffected and c) Severe latency issues with the host.
