Aura Kingdom

Aura Kingdom

Now, i’ve got a few hundred more hours with this game than my steam says, given i played it outside of this program, and I can say for sure that this game is both a blessing and a pain at times.

The storyline can be a bit repetitive, if you have many-a character made

A lot of the decent cosmetics are worth a pretty penny amount of gold

Hard to find a guild/clan thats highly active, unless you make your own

Great class customization, no “this class can only be a 2nd to this class” bullshit

a fishing system! (i love fishing in games, sorry)

I was trying to log into my account after not accessing the game for a year (due to school and me having to uninstall the game) but couldn’t cause apparently I used the wrong username and/or password. And when I went to check my “Forgot my pass” on Aeria, I found out that my account was blocked. And I’m honestly very taken aback and very disappointed. I have no idea why my account was disabled, but it makes me extremely unhappy cause I’ve dedicated plenty of time into the game, and to have my progress lost just angers me tremendously.

Not Another Dungeon?!

Not Another Dungeon?!

I have played this game for quite some time now, and it had me hooked for a good time, the gameplay loop is fun, i really like the easier quests to contrast the harder achviements, i have been working on getting all achivements for a while now, but i sadly don’t have that much time anymore to try and get them all, but i can usually get a run or two in occasionally. It’s a nice break. If there is one thing i’d complain about is that one achivement that i don’t have is a bit of a grind but it’s not that bad when you can consistantly get to the top. All in all it’s a fun game, i recommend this game to people who like Roguelite Card games. Looking forward for updates in the future.

Quantum Protocol

Quantum Protocol

PROS

  • Game is incredibly cheap for the sheer amount of entertainment it offers.

  • The gameplay is completely unique and will feel both fresh and familiar if you’ve played YGO or other TCGs.

  • Everything from visuals to music to UI hit a very good standard that lets it blend in the background as you play.

  • The game still receives frequent update with a developer very receptive to feedback.

CONS

  • Learning an entirely new set of skills can feel a little arduous at the start.

  • The ‘fail until you succeed’ logic surrounding the game can make things feel a tad hopeless.

Full Disclosure: I received a copy of the game to playtest during development. You can even fine me in the credits as “SaruRoku”!

Quantum Protocol is first and foremost, a Cardgame, with a story that’s presented in a visual novel style.

The visual novel elements do string along a fun, but mostly lighthearted story, without any of the “choices” that would make a visual novel game, but they do provide levity and a change of pace after most stages, as well as giving you some insight to the various characters who’s decks each follow their own themes.

A good but short game. Mostly in visual novel format with a few staged fights per chapter. Enjoyable characters with a few typos here and there. The only real complaint I have about the game is the save feature does not work correctly, which for a short 4 hour story line is not the biggest deal breaker.

good game but i dont know how to save my progress, thats the only complain i have. the storyline is good and i like the art style

I may like this game and keep grinding, if i am not a mage.

When it says on wiki mage deal massive damage in close range. close range is true, but massive damage? its unbelieveable painful for mage to fight bosses, even a knignt

invested in end stat can do better damage than mage.

And when this question have been bought, answer is mage have nice aoe abilities. But which classed dont have aoe abilities? And as a penalty, mage have very low defense and health

even, the so call “magic defense”, while 95% mobs in game are dealing physical damage. Mage already have the worest lv20 buff that the sole purpose is to turn magic defense into

UPDATE The developer already got back to me on Discord and helped me find a workaround (clicking the NPCs with broken quests instead of spacebar) so my quests are completed and the Dev said he will fix the spacebar issue on the next emergency update ^_^!

I do like this game and review positive, HOWEVER, I will be reevaluating this review due to a very concerning fact. Apparently some (recent?) update has caused glitches with newbie quests making them completely undoable if you complete the task prior to getting the quest. I really hope I don’t have to start grinding over on a new character to enjoy this game, sure i’ve only played 2 days but Id rather quit and play something else if that ends up being the case. I did submit the problem in their discord so we will see what happens. Will update later.

Undead Darlings ~no cure for love~

Undead Darlings ~no cure for love~

okay indie game for those who want dungeon crawl with anime girls, but expect to face several inconvenience if you want to try this. On plus side, it is unique in that there are many unique and funnily designed enemies, something rare in anime dungeon crawlers since they usually come from Japan. Different culture tropes rather than usual animal tropes(though this game also contains lots of it) can be found here, which sets this apart from translated Japanese games. Also, English VA is also more appreciable since it doesn’t have translation problem as well.

Everything of this game is a pain in the arse. From battle mechanics to map settings to gameplays, none I can enjoy casually. On top of that, completion rewards you with little to no satisfaction.

Give or take, about 70% of the dialogues are not even voiced.

Covers the lack of content by using dumb dungeon mechanics to stall progress.

On average to complete the later dungeons you’ll probably waste 3-4 hours of your life along with 50+ pitfall drops.

Doesn’t show controls, doesn’t allow change of keys. doesn’t show anything that indicates your affection with girls.
