Hate Plus
Hate Plus is a different kind of game, and that’s not a bad thing if you are looking for something new to try. Instead of being a puzzle, adventure, or action title, it is literally an interactive novel. The only “puzzle,” if you will, is attempting to piece together what happened to space vessle Mugunghwa before the events of the previous game, Analogue: A Hate Story. Because there are some concepts originally introduced in that game, it’s helpful to have played it before diving into Hate Plus, but it’s not essential.

Oh, *Hyun-ae, let’s solve mysteries together forever~
Hate Plus is a fantastic… something between a visual novel and a kinetic novel. Both this game and it’s predecessor, Analogue, aren’t a tangled spiderweb mess of routes, choices, decisions, Good and Bad Ends. There aren’t many branching decision points in these games (Hate Plus doesn’t even really have any), which kind of removes a lot of their “gaminess.” That’s okay with me; the visual/kinetic novel genre exists somewhere in the digital melting pot between traditional literature, comic books and video games. That’s pretty great, in my opinion.

PUT ANNA
I can’t believe I have put more than 10 hours into this game. Oh my god. This game is a fucking wild ride and I 100% recommend it more than I ever thought I would. I’ve put so many hours into this game and I’ve had a ton of fun with it. While the translations are very rushed, it does give it a little extra challenge and also some fun unexpected moments. Please buy this game. For Pucifer.

I bought this game looking at the price and thinking “Well, i guess it will be one hour or two of gameplay.” I was wrong. The game is fun and engaging and at the same time a valuable effort in political satire, even though the English translation is a bit Google-Translatorish (which, while not essential, makes some puzzles borderline impossible to solve without guessing).

Hunt down the horrendous Horned Face and avenge the death of his betrothed. That was the mission, and obsession, that Ethan Primrose had walked away from. Now, he lives his life peacefully and rules the State of California as the heir of both House Primrose and the Western region of the Fifty States. There he lives with his guilt-ridden squire, Olivia, and his wide-eyed sister, Novah. But everything changes when an old friend, one also with an insatiable obsession for finding the Horned Face, vanishes under mysterious circumstances.
To the north of the Fifty States, Premier Nyanna of the Province of Ontario has tried her best to keep the Republic out of a war with its southern neighbor. But when she learns about her brother’s unnatural circumstances, she commits herself to find the truth about her brother. Just as determined as she are her remaining brothers Sawyer and Hayes Maple— the first an arch-priest pushing for controversial reformations, the second the new and unprepared heir of House Maple.
Although separated by thousands of miles and vast landscapes, the actions of each character are concretely and profoundly felt by each and everyone else. With the entire Continent tenaciously teetering on the edge of a full-scale war, each character must understand that their actions and desires impact not just themselves, but the fate of the entire Continent.
Crown Land features a massive cast of over THIRTY drawn, original characters. The following is merely a small sample of them all.

Developer: Voonle

Pros:
1. The story does keep its merits as sci-fi with interesting inclusions such as the government taking over privacy and tracking emotions, calls, and other activities. I could see the inspirations if this was inspired by Minority Report or the anime series PSYCHO-PASS, or just the outlook on real life itself.

Genius! NAZI-GIRL GoePPels-Chan ep1
Amazing game, makes me laugh every time I open it up. There is one problem, and it is that the game is only like 20-40 minutes of gameplay, on all of the eps for all options. Still a good game though. I would expect it to be at least $2 each

A short but sweet visual novel. Has a surprising amount of historical accuracy for a moe-styled retelling of the Nazis' propaganda efforts. I’d recommend not posting anything about it on YouTube if you value your channel (I’ve learned this the hard way).
You can reach an ending in about an hour if you don’t rush it and listen to the dialog.
Translations are very well done and everything is perfectly understandable.
One playthrough has me wanting to buy the sequels, if you’re interested then pick it up!

Hell Blasters
I’m fairly new to playing shoot em ups (shmups) to actually be good at them rather than just credit feed my way through an arcade game. I wanted to get into ‘bullet hell’ shmups but the games are really intimidating. This game was recommended because the designer is an accomplished bullet hell player who made the gameplay the top priority - and made it so you can use the story mode to actually learn to play a bullet hell.
It’s been an absolute blast and the story mode really delivers bite sized chunks of training and the arcade so you can practice them and learn how to deal with the enemies.

This is the Bluesmobile of shmups. It may not look like much on the outside, but it’s got the cop motor, cop tires, and probably even the cig lighter. Great level design & bullet patterns, a ton of modes, leader board & replays, great shmup tunes, it’s all there. Great work, devs!

Long Live The Queen
Dear Gwenelle,
Ha! I mean Duchess of Sudbury! I am actually trying to work on my royal demeanor, I swear, okay? Life is just so crazy! My moods are so erratic lately.
Sorry I can’t make it to your party! My reflexes and archery skills are way below 50, Lore is just sooo much more interesting.. and bandits are everywhere. I even had this bad dream about traveling, and even though I’m not 100% sure it was related to your party, I’m going to stay on the safe side. I’m sure you understand, though, right? I’m sure you would prefer receiving presents from your ALIVE friend rather than, well, not.

Long Live The Queen is a story of a pink-haired fourteen-year-old princess who has just returned home to prepare herself for taking over the throne as Queen. Don’t let the adorable protagonist misguide you though, as behind the sweet visuals lays a terribly dark story about murder, death, political plots and war (to name a few).
Positives:
Plot: You will be able to tell right from the start of the game (and because it’s written in the store description) that this is not a happy little fairytale about a princess finding true love or whatever. No, this is far darker! With the sudden death of Princess Ingenue’s mother, she is quickly brought back from the boarding school to her home at the castle. She isn’t even offered time to mourn properly during her rigorous studies. Due to Ingenue’s inexperience and power-hungry foes, one false move could mean that she quickly follows in her mother’s footsteps to an early grave! It’s exciting, adorable at times and overall, just a great little story.

Love with Kadyrov
Love with Kadyrov is one of my favourite steam games. My friend bought it for me and I can’t be happier that she did. This game has brought so many tears to my eyes at the beautiful graphics and story telling. The story ends so abruptly making me hope for a part two to be released. I have fully completed the game, which I regret so much because my time with Kadyrov on our daily dates now no longer feels new and exciting. Kadyrov fills the void in my heart that could be filled with a much less important thing like a significant other. If I had the chance to meet Kadyrov in real like I would take it in a heartbeat if I could play the ancient highlander game of match three.

The way Kadyrov in real life is so against gay people, he is definitely a massive closet dweller and this game is 100% irrefutable proof that he is. The game is pretty good fun as well, so I recommend it.

Love in Belarus
I would like to erase my memory in order to once again enjoy this work. Simple, modest, brilliant!
My rating is 10 cards out of 10!

Great ideas with poor execution (pardon the pun).
Love in belarus is an rpgmaker game about helping a dictator control a legion of peaceful protesters with extreme violence. The trouble with the game is that it is so bipolar. It does so many of the little things right but fails where it counts. Let me break it down.
The good:
You can have a pet dog and give them alcohol.
The game is short, but it is full of content which makes it well worth the price.
The jokes are irreverent and fantastic if you understand eastern european political humor. The adult jokes are everywhere, but most of them get pretty dark. Unfortunately, a few of the big audible jokes (recordings of songs, speeches, etc) won’t hit home unless you understand russian.
