100% Orange Juice
I’m revamping this review, as my last one which I had made months ago was meant as a in-joke, which probably isn’t the ideal approach. So, where do I begin?
100% Orange Juice is a board game featuring characters across multiple games from the Japanese indie group daidai (who are better known as OrangeJuice among the populace). The game premise is to move around the board obtaining stars and/or wins from successful battles, which allow you to increase your Norma level, which in turn allows access to cards. Cards play a vast role in 100% Orange Juice by changing the scenarios in and outside of battle. Some common examples are having access to two dice for movement, healing yourself after a battle, and setting traps which can slow down other players. Due to the versatility of cards, you will find yourself always trying out different deck creations.

After many hours of play, I think it’s time I finally put in a review as a means of advice to potential buyers.
100% Orange Juice is good/challenging game that will give you many triumphs and tragedies. Many negative reviews you may read might say things like “games are very long and require almost no skill” or “you just throw dice”. I disagree with these sentiments entirely. If you intend to buy OJ, you need to understand it’s a very specific kind of game. This is a dice board game, where RNG and skill take center stage. If you intend to buy this game and assume you can master it and win every game, and have a perfect W/L ratio, prepare to be disappointed. It is impossible to master OJ and sometimes the game can be extremely upsetting. So why do people like me keep coming back?

Accel World VS. Sword Art Online Deluxe Edition
A quick one.
Liked:
- This is ALO, hence flight. And magic. And Undines, can’t forget that. And
! White Cosmos… Ah her support skill is awesome
-
This is also AW. Not too familiar with that, but I like Pado. KYL is also awesome (those wing-flapping…)
-
Some missions (read: Infinite Dungeon) are actually a lot more fun in multiplayer
-
Playing as anyone (but
! Yui sighs. I wanted to try being
! a tiny pixie)
- Control is controller-friendly (couldn’t go back to keyboard after playing on controller for 20+ hrs)

Attack on Titan / A.O.T. Wings of Freedom
This will be my first review ever so it may not be what you expect, but here we go.
Having played 160+ hours, beaten every single mission in S-Rank with Dire Subjugation, completed the Gallery (have made every equipment), and gotten all achievements, I believe my review will be accurate.
The game follows the same story as the anime/manga, including short cutscenes for the highlights of the show. Starting with Attack Mode (which is considered “normal” mode). Beating that unlocks True Attack Mode (or “hard mode” - also “TAM”). PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE GAME DIFFICULTY SETTINGS ASIDE FROM THIS FOR EASY, NORMAL, AND HARD. On TAM, the titans have much more life on each body part and are much more aggressive, turning and grabbing much quicker. There is also Expedition Mode, in which you can play Survey Missions either online of offline. If playing online, you can have up to four people playing together.

Now, I am a massive weeb, so I am probably very biased when it comes to anime games. I am also a big fan of the Warriors series games, so when I found out there was going to be an Attack on Titan game made by the same company, I was thrilled. Now for my review.
_
GAMEPLAY:
Now, as much as I enjoy flying around slaying titans, the game does have it’s bugs, and I’ve had more than my fair share of accidental wall hugging. Combat is VERY fast-paced on any substantial difficulty level, possibly too much for other people. Half the time, I’m just mashing buttons and hoping a titan doesn’t grab me. (Although I do play on extra hard mode, so that’s probably why.)

Strawberry Cheesecake Recipe:
Step 1
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and butter in a bowl. Press onto the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Step 3
Place strawberries and cornstarch into a blender. Cover and puree until smooth. Pour strawberry sauce into a saucepan.
Step 4
Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil and stir until sauce is thick and shiny, about 2 minutes. Set aside 1/3 cup strawberry sauce; cool. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce for serving.

DO NOT BUY if wanting matchmade PVP.
The last paid DLC for this game came out Feb 1, 2021. The online servers for this game will be shutting down in Aug of 2022. Honestly the life of this game makes it feel like a cash-grab/scam, but it’s published by BANDAI NAMCO so that’s just par for the course. As of now there is speculation that you’ll be able to direct connect to friends but online matchmaking will no longer work August 2022.
The game itself is a 6/10 fighting game without the usual depth and complexity that you find in fighting games. The roster has a lot of fan favorites and will probably check a few boxes for your characters of choice. The Story line is pretty boring and has some long unskippable cutscenes.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

This in an update to my previous review. In my previous review I did not recommend this game, due to the devs being greedy, since they locked half of the beta classes behind a paywall. They have recently made the game game, they are also currently working on fixing the rebirth system. Since by definition it is currently pay2win. Now we are still waiting to see how easy it will be to earn rebirths for new players and my review will change accordingly (ie If they make them free but they become an impossibly long grind to get a single rebirth).

This review is purely based on my personal experience as a solo player.
Pros
-
You can build your customized ninja with 4 different roles.
-
Fun to play with friends or as first time.
-
Plenty variety of characters “Masters” with their signature moves included that your ninja can learn. Also their 2D art it’s pretty cool.
-
It’s fun to run over the walls and jump from them since your ninja will always use Chakra concentration automatically.
-
Some events from time to time and you get cool stuff.

To be fair, this game honestly has one of the best combat mechanics in any game I’ve ever played thus far, and I’d wanna see more games with similar mechanics to it. The game also features some neat character customization and give some cool rewards for events which are completely achievable for anyone. So with those said, the problems lie elsewhere.
1. There is a jarring amount of bugs - although you cannot expect a game to be completely bug-free, this game has jarring amount of it. Examples include but are not limited to a) Screen dimming after a cut scene b) Ability indicators would display cooldown when inflicted by certain skills despite being entirely unaffected and c) Severe latency issues with the host.

This is a really solid One Piece beat em up game!
Personal Rating 85%

It has tons of characters, costumes and different modes.
The playable characters will react differently upon facing certain enemies in the intro in “appeal events”.
Unfortunately the Pirate Flag battle mode has been removed.
Graphics are neat and special moves look great.

Raifu Wars
Imagine Mario Party levels of bullshit combined with the strategy of Risk. That’s the best way to explain it, & IT IS AMAZING.
I stream this game with friends pretty religiously. I have absolutely no idea why it’s so addicting but I love it. Buy it for you and all ur friends, I assure u you’ll have a good time.

This is such a fun and chill game! It doesn’t get boring or repetitive since there are so many maps to choose from and characters to play as. The map editor is really cool, too! The art is adorable and the music is enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to getting some friends playing and trying out multiplayer. I could definitely see this being a go-to party game!

Sword Art Online: Lost Song
The simplest way to put it is this: Go play Accel World vs Sword Art Online instead.
That game was created with this game as a base… except that game is better than this one in every possible way.
It has improved gameplay mechanics, more characters, more customisable equipment, better item sorting, more stages, more visually interesting AND practical dungeons, better music, and something vaguely resembling a plot…
If I hadn’t played that game first, I might have liked this better. But since I’ve now got through AccelSword, Re:Hollow Fragment and Lost Song entirely, I can compare them a bit better.

First time I started it after the install finished, there was no sound, the screen moved extremely fast, motion blur was horrible, and it was extremely laggy. Unplayable conditions made me immediately second guess my purchase. Decided to tweak some settings and restart.
Second time I started it, I got stuck on a black screen after pressing “New Game” and listened to the sound of wind for a few minutes. I’m assuming the cutscene froze and didn’t play, so I wasn’t able to do anything, eventually forcing the game to close and restart.

Acceleration of SUGURI 2
I made the first review when I had about 20 hours of playtime in total. Now it’s… a little bit more, but still not 7k. Anyway, I now have rights to say everything I think about the game.
First, I want to start with singleplayer, which is not where you are supposed to spend a lot time. When you are a new player, it will be a perfect place to start learning. As for me, I think it offers pretty challenging battles with CPU, and also CPU can teach you some basic stuff like simple combos and movement. Do NOT ignore singleplayer if you have just started, be it story, arcade or match mode.

Right out of the gate:
As a casual game, I would highly recommend AoS2. It’s an extremely fun 1-versus-1 game that combines the best of the shoot em' up genre and the fighting game genre for an explosive experience that no other game has replicated. But as a competitive game, I would not recommend AoS2. The metagame at a higher level is extremely unbalanced, both in character balance and in matchup dynamics, and gravitates towards defense and timeout to the point where not interacting with your opponent is the ideal.
