ANIME WAR — Modern Campaign
Anime war is a game that was very clearly made in a bit of a rush, with not much original content, yet with these things in mind, it manages to create much more gripping experience then many games do throughout hours of gameplay. It’s unique twist on a classic military shooter creates a much needed shake up in an overused, beaten to death genre.
Compared to most sniper focused games, the game is fast paced. It forgoes the many slow and meticulous aspects of your average long-range-barrelled-rifle-assassination game. This is signified succinctly by one mechanic, when you ADS (Aim-Down-Sights) you initially simply look over your characters shoulder, rather than scoping in; to scope in you must press the middle mouse button, and if you release the right mouse button and press it again it will go back to the shoulder view. This is an intellectually astounding way of explaining the gameplay speed to the player. Another thing that makes it so interesting to play is that, if you hammer the grenade button like a nail (a hammer is a tool used to impress nails (a pointy peace of metal used to attach two things such as wood or similar together) deep into something) then you will throw multiple a second, and there is an infinite supply of them. Some may call this a bug, but I say it is a masterful feature, which allows strategies of infinite complexity. Overall the gameplay is masterfully assembled, and it is clear Konichiwa games knows what they are doing.

Dangerous! TOO SWEET!!
It’s kinda cool I liked a lot the way it was a simple “love story”.
You mostly build up your relationships with the twins but it’s worth it!
If you’re looking for a love story with a little plot between high schoolers and with lgbtq content, you’re never gonna waste your time on this game!!
Plus the visual and illustrations are really great.

Fantasy Tavern Sextet -Vol.2 Adventurer’s Days-
I enjoyed the story! There is no shown sex so you will have to use your imagination! I am looking for version 3 but have not found it yet. I plan on getting it if it ever shows up though. The English is better than normal also.. I think most of you will enjoy it.

I liked the first one better, but this one was pretty amazing too. The character design didn’t disappoint and the story wasn’t half bad. I will say towards the end I saw a few plot points that were…ridiculous or too well timed…other than that it was fine.
The H-scenes were also top tier!

CRONEWORLD RPG ADVENTURE - 1
TL;DR:
There’s seemingly a fairly appealing JRPG (this one is Korean, btw) beneath all the weird presentation peculiarities - like the cumbersome interface design and the unorthodox way the game runs and plays from a tech standpoint. Definitely not for everyone. Suggested for the technically inclined and geekily adventurous gamer, perhaps of the older crowd, who would not be averse to enduring some technical hurdles and the uncoordinated confusion (gameplay-wise) that is at least the initial part of the game as the player is getting up to speed with game mechanics.

Girls & sweets
When you buy a visual novel for $2, you don’t expect much. I knew that going in, and yet I’m still disappointed.
For that price I don’t expect the best art or music, really. And to its credit the character art is decent. But they’re all very clearly from some asset pack that was not in any way intended for this story. They’re all highschool characters that very clearly all go to the same school. And yet we’re to believe none of them are highschoolers at all. For example, your father in the game looks about your age, if not younger, and wears the same school uniform as you.

Majikoi! Love Me Seriously!
Was an instant buy for me but didn’t expect it’ll be like this….
Majikoi….YES YES YES YES! Finally, they actually did an official localization of this gem! And to bring it to steam as well! Nice going Minatosoft. Tried this game years ago using the fan-translation patch which was done splendidly by the translation team and got instantly hooked by the myriad amount of characters personality and while the story might seem generic in the sea of school life themed VN, they still did a wonderful job in delivering it and made it captivating as well. The steam version, however….I have mixed feelings for this one.

We live in a society, where a free fan translated game is superior to the same game on Steam. Wow
I want to support the devs who created a great game but these kinda half baked product isn’t doing it any favours.
You buy the Steam version, you’re getting choppy game with voices being removed for important side characters especially villains that are important to the game and changing the names for characters as well.
HENCE, must get the DLC patch from JAST USA (why it isn’t on steam though smh) and voice restoration patch to add better translation and voices so you can experience this game fully as it was meant to be. Similar to mods, but these are necessary mods that will make you mad why they didn’t do it well, idiots.

Escape to Moscow
Another interesting game ruined by horrible translation to English. Prepositions are almost nonexistent, plural forms are wrong and … well, just awful. Really a shame.

I liked this VN for the story and giving an interesting insight to dagestan culture. Touches little infos about cities and religion there and also about poetry and poets. Though not part of the game I even read about the Mikail Lermontow disaster for the first time ;-)
English translation has little bugs, but no problem at all.
I also liked the nice graphics

Corona Borealis
Corona Borealis is a sweet, lighthearted VN. The length is on the shorter side, but I had a good time playing it. I liked all of the characters and their routes and really enjoyed seeing how each character’s relationship with June developed. The questions part of the game was also very entertaining. I had fun getting to know about each character’s likes and dislikes, relationships, future plans, etc. Some of the questions led to really funny answers. A simple stat-raising system…great art…good voice acting…pleasant music…
– Real player with 13.5 hrs in game
I have a few issues with Corona Borealis – the technical side is kind of clunky, with text rollback working whenever it wants and the sound sliders not really doing what they’re supposed to do (you can’t fully mute the partial voice acting). The relationship flags connected to dating sim mechanics are a bit cryptic and choices sometimes counter-intuitive, so it’s way too easy to end up alone or stuck with suboptimal endings if you don’t follow a walkthrough.
The one major problem, however, is the game’s length – all the routes feel really short and rushed, with little buildup for romance (and/or deep friendship). This is particularly painful in Noah’s route, as he shows up halfway into the game and doesn’t offer the small-talk sections that let you learn more about other main characters. Considering his theme is also deep psychological issues… The positive ending and healing he goes through are hardly earned here.

Esper - Make You Live Again is a kinetic Visual Novel published by Stoigames early this year, but the development has started back in 2015, and it’s clearly a work of passion.
Espers are people with special abilities, capable of establishing emotional links with individuals on the edge of rapture. Those feeling depressed, suicidal or in a tremendous sadness turmoil, if lucky, can be approached by an Esper, which will do everything to help. This order is well established among society, with schools that train and develop Espers, from a very early age. All of this running in the underground of the world as we known it.
