Demonic Blade
I thought it will be a regular story, but it was so much better than expected. The gameplay is negligible -from what i’ve seen, the decisions doesn’t affect the ending in this one-, and it limits to tell the story and branch just some dialogue by the choices you make. Not a revolutionary storytelling, but the characters were memorable for the duration of the game, and for the price, it was a good shot for me.
Recommended for anyone who is curious about it, and who wants a small and self-contained story. Not a game changer, but a good one, at least for any sensible soul.

Art and char design is just adorable ; music and voice acting is quite nice and the is even a cute badge with quite nice emotes going with
Sadly the game is very badly translated and it’s sometimes quite hard to understand who is actually speaking (outside of the voice acted ones), they mixed up gender and such ; i think even google translation don’t do this
Take it in sales if you really want to do a peek at this game or understand chinese :p

Short, but interesting. Cute imagery, and overall it’s a lot of fun. I’ve spent more on things that were a lot less fun that this read was.

Jaden & Jasmine: The Curse of Deception
The game is a visual novel based off one of my book series I titled the same as the game. Jaden & Jasmine.
Jaden Black is an intelligent high school student who completed all of his school work within a matter of days. He often sits in class bored with nothing to do.
Well one day he decides to not just sit class being bored but decides to go get a drink of water. While doing so Jaden doesn’t realized that he’s being watched by someone.
Anyways while getting a drink of water Jaden comes across the principal of his high school, Principal Karen. Throughout the Game you’ll find out the Jaden himself always wanted to be the principal of his school. He achieve this with the help of his friend Jasmine Miles
Talk to Saki
Just like Talk to Aya and Talk to Yuno I really like this game. I wish that new dialogues will be added. It will be really nice if all three will become a more complex and interactable game.

So this is sort-of a companion to Talk to Aya. In this case, you are talking with Saki (who happens to be Aya’s best friend). Saki is a more outdoors/energetic type. So there are different keywords you must try, and times to access the “game” to get the achievements.

Pretty dope, ngl. Characters are cute, voice acting is solid. It’s free and linux compatible so play it stupid.

This was an absolute delight to read. There’s some humor, character development and a good amount of drama. There is rarely a dull moment between the 3 characters. All of this is good on its own, but the voice acting elevates the whole thing to the next level and it is all on point. The only real negative is a lot of the BGs look like they’re in various stages of a sketch instead of finalized artwork. Overall, an exceptional visual novel and all for the price of Free.

It’s kinda cool I liked a lot the way it was a simple “love story”.
You mostly build up your relationships with the twins but it’s worth it!
If you’re looking for a love story with a little plot between high schoolers and with lgbtq content, you’re never gonna waste your time on this game!!
Plus the visual and illustrations are really great.

Ghost in the pool
For a short horror VN, the game was pretty decent. I did enjoy reading the story, which was pretty straight forward and to the point for the most part. There were some bits that I was a bit confused by even though I could probably connect the dots (
! specifically talking about the cat…). There are three different endings, which I do like the variety. I also do like the route map and that different choices did slightly change a few things (though the endings themselves do not change). The graphics were great and I loved the sounds.

CASCHA games is a solo developer from China working on two visual novels; Ghost in The Pool (GiTP) and in-development Sunset Paradise. GiTP is a joint effort with author and comic illustrator JOEY, to bring the latter’s horror works to life in a new medium. Due to a language barrier, sadly I cannot (though I’m Chinese) read nor check out the comics. However, I was hooked into this game because the title reminded me of a widely debated mystery in my hometown.

Hunting Moon vol.2
This belongs in the garbage.
Unlike the previous Hunting Moon, this one atleast seems to be partly translated by a proper translator. However it is still plauged by the exact same issues as the previous one, some words and sentences make absolutely no sense whatsoever. On one occasion during the story, they got the words “read” and “watch” mixed up, so the characters were watching a diary and reading the TV. On some occasions it was pretty clear that they we’re not able to translate a sentence so they just did an autotranslate on it. Some puns get lost in the translation like for example the word “shark” being mistaken for a verb. Just like last time, the translation was just inserted back into the VN without proper text allignment or proofreading. More than once, the dialogue gets cut midsentence and the next scene spells the letters that didn’t quite fit the dialogue box in the previous scene.
