Resonance of Fate (RoF) is hybrid turn-based RPG developed by tri-Ace and published by Sega (2010). PC/Steam port in October 2018.
Living and Fate in Basel
The story takes place on high polluted Earth. A massive air purification called “Basel” is created and controlled by Zenith system to keep humanity safe from outside world. Zenith also control human lifespan determined by quartz crystal. The world in Basel sets into class-based society with combination of Steampunk and Neo-Victorian influences. From luxury manor on the top to lower city made by scraps and rusty gear.

Original, difficulty, and rewarding
Resonance is game I recommend to folks who got the time on their hands to give it a shot.
Not something you can play blindly and beat in a week however. It took me roughly 98 hours to do most side quests, 0 post game, and all of the story.
Game play is this bizarre strategy/RPG hybrid where you need to pay close attention to the area your fighting in, character positioning on the map, and of course your normal levels and stats. Its incredibly intimidating at first glance since the game doesn’t really tell you how it works unless you sit and read the manual on the pause screen in which case, aside from combat, you figure it out shortly after.

Janky, clunky, low on content.
But it’s an anime third person shooter with tons of customizable guns. And it’s awesome.
Also as a Touhou fan I appreciate the story for every character, I really hope we’ll see more of these.

M.A.S.S. Builder
Summary: MASS Builder is a fairly fun game that could keep you busy for a few hours if you have little interest in mecha/robot customization, but many more hours if you like creating custom designs and trying them out. While its customization is deep, it isn’t…broad, and a general lack of content keeps this from being a hard recommend in general. That said, it actually gets the basics done with a lot of quality and polish and is by no means bad…just very narrow in its scope. It has a lot of potential and I’m excited to see new features added to the game.

Mass Builder is a customizable mecha game with great customization, but some of the worst gameplay I have ever had to slog through. The fact that the game is unfinished as of this review doesn’t excuse the game’s issues though. Let’s start with the pros, because there are some elements that are done well:
Pros:

Great character art. I won’t go into detail, but whoever did the 2d character sprites during story segments should be commended for a job well done.

Great customization for mechas. The parts all look great, and there’s obvious influence from several anime designs in certain parts. Colour switching is a bit awkward, but it’s functional.

Story

Interactive Pilots
Recruit and manage your team of pilots. Each Pilots will have their own unique characteristics and set of skills. You can also build relationship with them to know their backstory and make them better on the battlefield.
Setting
Set in alternate reality World War 2 era, In Tanasurga you’ll see how the war unfolds from South East Asia point of view. There will be moments inspired from real history in Tanasurga’s alternate reality World War 2. You will also visit unique and exotic locations with its culture.
YUKI
Played on Oculus Quest 2 using Air Link.
This is YUKI. It’s a bullet hell rogue-lite in VR. You use your hand to maneuver YUKI around bullets while shooting at Yokaliens. The art direction is really nice here; I love the idea that you’re playing pretend with a toy in your hand. The graphics are nice as well.
The gameplay is really fun! Dodging bullets is a lot of fun, though note that you’ll have a much easier time with it if you’re able to move around a lot. It can get pretty frantic at times, though you have both YUKI’s Shield and Pod’s Freeze to help. Trying to aim and dodge at the same time can be pretty difficult, too!

This game is fantastic and deserves a lot more attention!
It’s a rogue-lite bullet hell shooter with a bunch of unlockable upgrades, unlockable bladewings and brutal levels that will take some time to master. You’ll have to stack firepower upgrades, drone upgrades, pod upgrades and health upgrades each run in order to turn Yuki into a beast to take down the bosses. I also love the set dressing of it being in the imagination of a kid (you) playing with an action figure (YUKI) from their favorite TV show.

Ignited Steel: Mecha TBT
Aiming to fulfill its expansion instinct, humanity created an A.I. which controls and manages all necessary resources to expand the human race throughout the galaxy. Soon, a fatal flaw in the A.I. “PharOS” code was discovered: it could not and would not stop expanding.
With the hope to halt PharOS’ expansion, the human race depends on “The Ignited Steel” program, a plan reliant on outdated technology which PharOS cannot control.
Old Mechs from past wars are now humanity’s only hope.
Attacking and moving mechs requires energy and can overheat the mech. If overheated, mechs output more damage while being more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
A key element to gameplay is finding the perfect balance between damage and vulnerability.
Pilots from every corner of the universe volunteer to the Ignited Steel program, each bringing their unique personalities and tactics.
As the Ignited Steel program regains control of the galaxy, new pilots will join the cause against PharaOS.
There’re 3 types of mechs: Juggernaut, Stalker and Javelin, each with their own advantages and counterplay.
Mechs are built using unique modules each with their own purpose. As the Ignited Steel program liberates the galaxy, they will earn and purchase new modules with unique traits.
The galaxy is full of contrasting planets and stories to be told. By jumping from node to node the ignited steel program will discover the galaxy’s stories, and add new modules and pilots to the crew. New planets, pilots, modules, events and missions in every playthrough!
Matcha Warriors
The game has interesting mechanics and the right difficulty level that manage to grab your attention and make you want to keep playing.
There are very satisfying moments when you combo elements and snowball the entire run. But it can also become frustrating when the RNG plays against you.
In the end, its a nice game to play and would benefit a lot from having a coop multiplayer!

BREAK ARTS II
Normally, I don’t go out of my way to do these kinds of things (and I mean that literally as this is my first ever review), but, because of a very very VERY recent small update known as Patch 1.41, I felt I HAD to get this off my chest and hope that the developers see this.
Before this one update, I loved the customization on the game but nothing I tried could really help me to improve my capacity to steer correctly in game. I was a literal mess and a half that felt like he was skating on ice with sponges for the most part. That was, however, before 1.41 hit. The patch added a few fixes as well as a new Side Booster part, but side boosting’s always been a difficult thing to understand; let alone use optimally, but unbeknownst to anyone who hadn’t already noticed, the turning in the game actually improved.

Weapons are rather weak compared to most mech games, I was expecting grenades, rockets, missles but you mainly get laser based weapons that barely feel any different from each other and things like a machine gun feels like a slow rifle from Armored Core
