The girls of “Saint Cattleya High School” arrived on Future Island for a school excursion. This is a small Island scarred by a past war. In the middle of a still delightful natural garden setting lies the War Museum, where letters and other objects from the terrible events which occurred on this Island are on display. During a break, Miss Shizuru felt dizzy in the Museum and passed out! As she woke up, she found herself in the same place, but in an alternative world where relics of the past war are now petrifying monsters. How are you going to go back to your time, my dear Shizuru?

Well I do much enjoyed with the journey but not the story, monster, and stuff. I mean its in the middle of war and so many trap but why the monster also from a plane or crane or something like a cube huge things which buried and ex-army. I agree with character even there is a little big than normal size but which I don't like is the story that's all. I didn't feels anything from this game. Oh and the HP is 5 and if you want to regen just going to the cross but it will healing when your HP is 1\. Also check point which is hard to find. You need to look a cross shape to save your progress but only if you remember so far that's good. Bad check point it's uncomfortable.

## Tomato Way
I don't need to play it more than 0.1 hours in order to know that his is the best game I have ever played. Compared to games such as the Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2, this game holds no candle, it has great lore which is very understandable, great music which makes you emotional and exceptional graphics which sometimes deceive me for being something that has been filmed in real life. I honestly believe this is one of the better games released in 2016\. The voice-acting is also great, not only is it only in boring old English, but also in French, and what I believe is Russian. This also has a fantastic way of playing it's game, you can interact with other characters and items in ways I never imagined possible.

You know that feeling that you get about 45 minutes after you eat too many magic mushrooms somewhere public, like a concert or a campsite or whatever, and you start getting that tingle in your spine that's simultaneously completely alien and intimately familiar, and then the sinister realization begins to creep on you that you're miles from home surrounded by people you don't know?
If that feeling was a ghetto Ukrainian fps that costs as much as an energy drink and lasts about as long, this is what you would get. So if you're into that, or you're curious what would happen if the creator of Veggie Tales started making snuff films, then give this one a shot.

## Winter Polaris
Winter Polaris is created by stage-nana, the same dev who created the famous Narcissu, which I was VN I read 5 years ago, the very first and best one I have read ever. Since I am a reading person, the most noticeable thing is the story. The story has 2 parts, one was written by Kataoka Tomo, the same writer for Narcissu, and the 2nd part was written by another writer he collabed with. Due to what the author said, this is just an experimental work.
First, WP shares a similar style like the previous works, Narcissu and Rain Marginal, from writing style to art style. Even 30% of WP soundtracks are from Narcissu, but I find them very soothing and nostalgic, and of course it fits the story very well.

What an incredible story. It's left me speechless and I'm not sure how to start this review as i haven't felt this weird after reading something in a while…
Anyways, Winter Polaris (WP) is the latest work conceived by Kataoka Tomo, author of the acclaimed narcissu series. This time, instead of the story of those awaiting their deaths and what they leave behind, we'll apparently take the opposite road to the same end: What should one live for, even if they're
! somewhat bound to not die. So, you'd better come prepared with some tissues.

![CROSS†CHANNEL: Steam Edition](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/812560/header.jpg "")
## CROSS†CHANNEL: Steam Edition
Cross Channel is a bit of an enigma. When it starts out, you’re intentionally confused. Scenes seem to occur completely arbitrarily, and you’re not sure if you’re in the past or the present. The MC narrator’s dialogue seems completely insane, and that’s not helped any by the spotty translation. It almost makes you want to throw your hands up and move on.
But eventually as you continue the story, things start to make more sense. The MC who initially seems like a typical VN perv to the nth degree starts to show a more dangerous side, and then even further depth from there. The scenes that take place in the past are now sepia toned, helping you piece together a timeline of past and present. Characters that seemed unpleasant and paranoid are now more easily understood. The underlying mystery of the time loop slowly reveals itself.

I watched my mom get hit by a freight train when she was 10ft away from me. her broken body was launched laterally at the speed of a fighter jet. the doctors spent two full weeks picking pieces of her bone from my perforated body. I had to go in for a checkup recently and they found a small piece of her cranium still lodged in my lower torso.
the reason why I preface my review with this is that this was only the second worst moment of my life. the worst was spending upwards of fifteen hours reading Moenovel's botched english translation of Cross Channel. Cross Channel is good, great even, but this translation is cheeks

## BERSERK and the Band of the Hawk
DO NOT BUY this game unless you are a huge Berserk fan (buy it on sale).
Cons:
-Its a game focused on extreme repetition, killing and killing thousands of extremely weak masses of enemies. Slash, repeat, slash repeat every single level.
-You need to play it on hard right from the start to find it a little bit more enjoyable and even then it is almost impossible to lose in any scenario.
-Scenarios have nothing special on them, they are closed, completely plain and need no exploration at all. Very repetitive.

This is a game for Berserk fans, if you're after a more filled out hack and slash game there are better options out there. I enjoyed myself playing this title but I'm an old Berserk fan. Like similar games in the genre it can get boring once you beat the story and try out the other modes just slashing apart humans & monsters repeatedly, the different play styles of characters and the various objectives do make it more interesting, and it is a great title like others in the genre to play while watching or listening to something on the side.

![Misao: Definitive Edition](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/691450/header.jpg "")
## Misao: Definitive Edition
### Play Mad Father first!
This game ties in quite a bit to Mad Father, so I highly suggest going and playing that first or you'll miss a lot of things that are fun to find and connect. Did you play it? Ok now that you're back we can continue. This game is a step up from Mad father in some ways and a step down in others. The main game's art and animation are better, but for this they did seem to sacrifice the 2D character art such as when they speak. The individual dialog art and the rest of the 2D art during story sequences seemed a lot more detailed and of better quality in Mad Father. However I believe it's worth it for the upgrade in the rest of the game's animation and general art. Mad father had many harder parts and was scarier. This game is much more psychological in the fear factor. Which made it easier to solve things. Your choices have consequences and oh boy does it LOVE to punish you for them! It is so punishing, After playing this if you're one of those people that seldom saves during a game or simply forgets to save, you will be hard pressed to try to not save any game again. I can't remember a game that has so many constant implanted ways to die as this does.
! Like that damn phone.. kept forgetting that stupid thing was there.. It also has an interesting dynamic for the main umm.. character(s?). It goes all Pokemon on you with being a boy or a girl which you should fully play through both to get the full story. It's also interesting how the biggest mystery in the game is the main character even after you finish it. It took me 8 hours to 100% this game with achievements!

Misao is a semi-old school Horror RPG with thriller elements and tense situations. If you want the basic plot, you play as a high school student who you can choose both the name and gender of. (Although, their canon name is supposedly Aki, there is no canon gender!)
The game follows Aki as they are wondering about what happened to a girl named Misao, who went missing 3 months ago. After getting ready and going to school, he/she overhears some students talking about some weird things going on in the school dubbed "Misao's curse" by the students. After that, an anomalous event happens and you are found within the horror filled world of evil spirits and plentiful deaths that you know as Misao.

![The Count Lucanor](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/440880/header.jpg "")
## The Count Lucanor
This is a smart and surprisingly literate little game. There is some obvious jank in the controls and general presentation, but it does little to detract from the overall experience. The game really nails the dark and disturbing tone of its most obvious story inspirations, which are old fairy tales and moral fables. You won't find much for jump scares and modern horror gore, but the whole affair just drips with heavy atmosphere and tone. So, if you're into a more frenetic, slasher-thriller style of scare, this probably won't be for you. But if you want something more deliberately paced and that builds a quiet horror by giving you nasty little things to think about and puzzle over, which is much more my speed, then I think you'll find this a treat. Be aware, this applies to gameplay as well. There's no combat in the game whatsoever, just avoidance. And your walk speed is fairly plodding. I didn't find it an issue, as you never have much ground to cover to get where you're going and the ambling pace helps to maintain the atmosphere. Others will find it slow. You'll hopefully know your own tendencies well enough to know if this will be an issue for you, because the game is resolutely and deliberately stuck in first gear the whole time. Caveat emptor.

Playing The Count Lucanor made me realize how rare fairy tale games are on the PC, and this game is very much a video game of a fairy tale. A tad on the grim side, perhaps, much like pre-Disney stories were, but a fairy tale nonetheless. With its pixel graphics and Bach’s works turned into chiptune as a soundtrack, as well as a few cutscene sequences that’ll remind you of a Studio Ghibli film, there’s little doubt that in the aesthetics department the game is well furnished – and what of the rest?

![BloodRayne Betrayal (Legacy)](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/281220/header.jpg "")
## BloodRayne Betrayal (Legacy)
If you are familiar with the Bloodrayne series, then I must first warn you that it plays nothing like the previous games, an open mind is required should you decide to purchase. This is a challenging platform brawler that has 15 stages in total, not a Metroidvania with free roam. You can obtain secret skulls that can extend your life bar or bullet count, but you won’t unlock new move sets or level up.
In terms of graphics, I feel the screenshots didn’t do it much justice. While it may look like a flash game in still frames, the animation is extremely smooth and pleasant to look at. The stage backdrops are detailed and befitting in most cases, while the blood splatters never gets old. I do have some gripes on the lack of variety though, as every single enemy of the same type will look the same every time, not even a colour swap, this was just plain lazy.

OK, look at screenshots. That's it. End of the story. **BloodRayne: Betrayal** is one of those rare games that look almost exactly as they feel. What can you expect from something that looks like this? Naturally, a tiny little spin-off that has pretty much nothing with the original series. **Might & Magic Heroes**, **Assassin's Creed Chronicles**, **HALO: Spartan Assault**, **Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet**… You know the drill. And even though this game is not really important as a part of the **BloodRayne** series? Gameplay here sure does deserve your attention. See, **BloodRayne: Betrayal** is a game from **WayForward Technologies**. The guys who made the very first **Shantae**, **Contra 4** and surprisingly great **Aliens Infestation**. And even though **BloodRayne: Betrayal** is not as good as those games above… it tries. It sure does.

## Gorytale
Gorytale is a really entertaining, silly game filled with a bunch of references and secrets.
It has a variety of weapons to kill the adorable little creatures with!
The only problem I have with this game is that it's pretty short, especially when you know what to do already, but it's still fun playing through multiple times and the arenas give it a little more replayability.
I really hope we'll get a sequel and the game gets a little more attention because I absolutely loved it. It's well worth the $5.

![How Stories Die](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1204740/header.jpg "")
## How Stories Die
Did you ever wonder how stories die? It's not hard and it's certainly not art. You just have to kill them. With a rather bad storytelling, tons of mistakes, continuity issues, missing or too many words and a very broken save system. You know it's bad when even the process of saving the game is a frustrating, luck-based experience.
I'll go over the many flaws in detail in a moment, but first let me mention the few things that weren't terrible. The music is great and the characters look beautiful, featuring many different facial expressions. The story has a few good or funny moments. Occasionally. It's not a bad experience from start to finish, just something where the cons outweight and thus I can't recommend it.

### This is a $20 Visual Novel you can read for free.
When it comes to free visual novels, I go in with a fair pinch of salt. When a game is made by a small group of people, I don't expect much. When the first thing I hear on the title screen of this game is a banger of a song that leads into a soundtrack that should not be as good as it is, I know I'm in for something special.
25 hours is how long it will take to read this story. During that time, you may find that events will not play as you might expect them to. The writer of this story gives you 3 decisions to make, with each path becoming a story of its own. These paths are not simply "Fall in love with girl, solve problem, everything's fine". Each path presents you with an idea, ideas born of a mind not content with following the formula.
