Tobari 2: Dream Ocean

Tobari 2: Dream Ocean

I played the first game and loved it, and so far I’m loving the second game.

Nice platforming. The videos don’t indicate how difficult it can be to get some of the stars. Completing a level is easy, but if you want to collect the 3 stars hidden in each level you have to be prepared to redo a section over and over until you land it right.

What is nice about this game is it lets you choose the difficulty and how much you get out of the game is up to you. It also has a nice setting, and the ability set can be interesting and with fun puzzles that also require reflexes.

Definitely easier than the first one, though the post-story challenge levels are still tricky for those that like it difficult. Each level has 3 star fragments to collect instead of the one moon shard in the first Tobari, which offers a bit more variety and less grinding in one spot. Features an updated outfit for the hero, new magic types and a fun beach/sea theme. Otherwise, its fairly similar to the original, both of which are fun little platformers.

A totally great platformer with tons of cute girls!

Who likes Jump ‘n’ Runs, Metroidvania is not averse, never wants to go Game Over along with super designed levels and great music MUST grab!

One of the best games in this category!

Honestly, I picked up this game as a joke for stream expecting it to be a terrible fanservice mess… but it’s actually really good. I mean, it is definitely a bundle of fanservice, but the gameplay gets better and better as it progresses. The game has good replayability, all of boss fights are solid, and the abilities you unlock make the game more and more fun. I also think the ‘Magic Mode’ would make for amazing speedruns. Definitely a good game for the price point and I hope to see a sequel, or see the game grow in the future.

Alpacapaca Double Dash

Alpacapaca Double Dash

I am loving this game so far, I’ve been patiently waiting for it to release after playing the first Alpacapaca dash game. This game is a very different game to the original though, it is a platformer, with its unique mechanic where you get to choose the outcome of the story by performing actions in different “sides”

This game was a lot harder than I first expected and I welcome the challenge of it. Although, the boss fights do seem a little unfair and the rabbit king seems a little broken at times, his hitbox seems to break at times and kill me where it previously didn’t. I find that using “retry” in the menu helps to fix the bugs in the levels, as the higher the death counter gets in the mission the more it “breaks”

Got this game for my girlfriend and she loves it, she says she likes how the alpacas butt looks when it runs lol.

Multiplayer doesn’t seem to work though, we tried her on the keyboard and me using an Xbox One controller but it gets stuck on the second player’s accept screen. Not sure what to do there.

Overall it’s good!

Teleportals. I swear it’s a nice game

Teleportals. I swear it’s a nice game

Teleportals. I swear it’s a nice game, is the second game developed and published by PixelGreeds. It’s a prequel to their first game; Yissa Deep Realms, and although they share similarities, they couldn’t be more contrasting from each other.

Susan, a respected scientist who devoted her life to find a cure to a very specific stripe of the flu, one that kills relentless, finds herself in a fight against all odds to save her friend Nancy, who is running out of time.

After a long day of work, Susan must rest, so she can work even harder on the next day, and finally hitting the bed sounds an unnecessary effort, but one she must do.

A solid puzzle platformer, with great map design, nice dialogue and unlockable spicy images. The art and animations are amazing considering its budget. For this price, this game is a steal.

Default keyboard controls are far from the standard, but you can easily rebind those. I had some problems advancing dialogue with rebound keys, but nothing major. You aren’t able to place a teleport while moving, and, while you need to get used to it, the maps are built around that limitation, making it a nonissue.
