Neat little game to waste some time, I enjoyed causing some mayhem and trying to survive until the goal (it’s not always that easy). Far from perfect but enjoyable for sure for an indie title. Good job!

LCD Sports: American Football
A faithful homage to the Mattel handheld of 1977. There are some gameplay tweaks here as well as some concepts borrowed from Mattel’s “Football 2” handheld but overall this is a lot of fun to play and if you enjoyed the original from the 70’s you’ll probably like this version too.

Cute game but the controller locks up on the computer opponents first series. Also there is no selection to pass/run like in the old coleco version. During the opponents first play, it just crashes and gives and error message. Hope the devs will fix it! I have received no response to my post about it on the discussion page.
edit: The devs contacted me today with a response to the problem. They say they will look at it. It’s good to know the devs care about such things!

Great Hunt: North America
Look, on the last Colorado stage, grassy ver., It’s impossible to get past that stage. Once I kill an animal, I go over to pick up the skin, and for some reason, it won’t let me. Please fix this. The game is not too shabby for $10, but there are some obvious flaws that need to be fixed.

only thing i can fault this game on is a weird bug where you cant skin animals anymore than 3 times a level even if level requirement is greater than 3. otherwise really nice.

Major Mayhem
Major Mayhem is an arcade rail-shooter, with which I have very little experience (the only one I can sort of put in a similar bag is Rescue Shot on the PSX, actually).
Despite coming from mobile, it looked enjoyable, and so I decided to give it a go.
I’ll say this right away: if a rail-shooter is exactly what you’re looking to play, then it’s probably safe to get this. If you’re looking for interesting games or examples of great game design, look elsewhere. This is not to say that the game is bad, but it’s very generic and “by the book”. There isn’t much in here to make it stand out (aside from being a rail-shooter, a rare genre today, it seems).

Major Mayhem is a game that truly feels like it was focus-tested for maximum enjoyment. When it comes to games, you’ll sometimes read descriptions like “It’s not for everyone”. This game, is for everyone. Whether you’re the type that likes to unlock stuff and get cash, somebody who just wants to shoot and/or blow stuff up, or even a person who shoots for the high-scores, Major Mayhem is the game for you.

ATOM GRRRL!!
First thing: this VN is crazy as f*ck. Don’t take it seriously. The opening of the game says it all (if you already watched, you KNOW what I’m talking about. Big E’s “special weapon”, especially. That was… Yeah), so if you feel triggered/angered by racial slurs, tons of rude words, “stereotypical” characters, violence… This game isn’t for you. It will piss you off.
BUT if you don’t mind and feel like reading something weird, go for it. Although, I recommend getting this game on a good sale; it’s not so short, but it’s quite expensive for a kinetic VN. Not worth paying the full price, in my opinion.

The story
