The Song Out of Space

The Song Out of Space

In 1962, during the height of the Cold War, twelve astronomers at a deep-space observatory were found dead. Because of the proximity of an important military base, two federal agents were sent to investigate any Russian involvement…

And what they found was from beyond this world.

Find out what really happened that night by exploring a town full of suspects with something to hide, and stop it from ever happening again.

Choose to play as federal agent Catherine Armstrong, a young recruit with excellent scientific skills, or as Stuart Ross, a street-smart veteran. Their unique skills and personality will change how the story unfolds.

And whatever you do, try to keep your sanity!

  • Two playable characters, each with its own story routes, dialogs, and personality.

  • 3 investigation routes, 4 endings, and dozens of secrets to reveal.

  • Unique retro visual style that mixes pixel art with photography

  • Original 80’s creepy synth soundtrack.

  • Click-and-point mechanics.

Crysis Remastered

Crysis Remastered

Let’s start it, by saying - if you’ve not played Crysis, I’d personally go with this version over the original, as it is more accessible, requires less tinkering, and plays slightly better.

However, as far as remasters go, this one is very disappointing. Ignoring the change of aesthetics at times, all of the issues with very much a junky AI are still here. The sound is as terrible as it ever was, with many sound glitches still present. And that horrible, directionless voice acting…. god, don’t even get me started (“Perfect!” says Nomad happily, when it’s supposed to be sarcastic “Perfect…”, as implied by the situation and subtitles… ugh).

This game has serious bugs in lasts level. As result the latest level can’t be completed: no boss activated.

Also instead of original game it so simplified: no some interesting places and situations in several level.

I am not recommended this game - original will be much better.

the closest thing to twisted metal that exists. very good car combat game

Real player with 0.7 hrs in game

Okay, so…

Fuck the other two games - flesh out Carnage Cross as much as humanely possible. This is the closest the Twisted Metal fan-base will ever get to a spiritual successor since Sony decided to elbow-drop Twisted Metal for good. Wait until at least 1.0 to keep working on Sanitize or Starglades.

I know some of the suggestions I’m gonna make are already on your roadmap - AND I DON’T CARE. I’ll repeat them infinitely into the fucking VOID if need be.

● ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. DO IT.

● NONE of the vehicles should have auto-aim machine guns - all of their guns should fire directly forward. Auto-aim should be either a power-up or a special ability. With that being said…

Unusual Findings

Unusual Findings

It’s the 80s and the Christmas is coming, Vinny, Nick and Tony are young and their new cable signal descrambler just arrived. That same night while trying to decrypt a pay per view adult channel, they pick up the distress signal of an alien spaceship crash-landing in the woods near their town… Things only get weirder as they realize that the towering alien is killing very specific members of their community!

Explore the world oozing with nostalgia, check the Video Buster Store for clues, challenge other kids at the Laser Llamas Arcades, go learn a new trick at The Emerald Sword comic store, try to get along with the punk looking Lost Boys at their hideout or even dare to ask THE BULL, the quintessential 80s Action hero, for some help!

Follow the story that pays tribute to 80s classics like The Goonies, The Explorers, Monster Squad, The Lost Boys, They Live, Terminator, and Aliens among others and a gameplay that combines mechanics of Point and Clicks masterpieces like Full Throttle with its own unique twist and more.

Your decisions do matter, and the way you make these three friends interact with each other increasingly affects their friendship and the whole story, changing the way they solve the game puzzles, the locations they visit, the answers they find, the story, everything.

Uncover the truth hidden behind the alien invasion… well sort of. Why here? Why is it killing locals? How can the boys stop it? Will they tune in the adult channel after all? The answers to these and other questions… in Unusual Findings.

  • Follow the Sci-Fi coming-of-age story. Three friends fighting together against the unknown… things (maybe against some known things too).

  • See, Grab and Talk action tokens, an inventory to use and combine items and your wits it’s all you need to play.

  • Stylized Pixel Art. All the charm of pixel art of the past with more colors and the new effects of the future. Some pixels look so real they can almost jump out of the screen*

  • Go back to a simpler time where mix tapes were a thing, Commodore 64 was a king, kids could play outside late at night and the only thing to worry about was THE GIANT KILLER ALIEN TRYING TO GET YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS.

  • The decisions you make affect the relations between characters and thus the puzzles, the game progression and the story.

  • The most radical music a synthesizer can play. Cool popular Synthwave Music alongside catchy tunes made exclusively for the game to power up the 80s vibes.

*The pixels do not actually jump out of the screen, In case you actually see a pixel jumping out the screen please visit an ophthalmologist… or/and look for psychological help.

Elijah and the Out of this World Adventure

Elijah and the Out of this World Adventure

Something strange is happening in North East Ohio! As Elijah you must traverse the varied world (suburban Cleveland) while searching for clues and solving puzzles to progress.  The world is full of ridiculous adult humor (think south park meets adventure game). The design and art are also as colorful as the language used in the game.  The game has definite replay value as some things can be challenging.  There is a lot to this craftily made indie game!

Project Blue Book: Hidden Mysteries

Project Blue Book: Hidden Mysteries

Pros:

  • good artwork for scenes, hidden objects, and characters

  • interesting storyline and plot

  • cutscenes and audio that get the player immersed

  • the player is given a “why” to what they are doing, rather than just mindlessly finding objects

  • Steam achievements

  • good price compared to some other hidden object games (I’m looking at you Artifex Mundi)

Cons:

  • minor bugs

  • limited options to alter gameplay to player’s wants/needs

Pro/con (player dependent):

  • Explicitly hidden object orientated (if focusing on progressing in the game; the minigames are optional)

Real player with 3.6 hrs in game

Survive-able if you stand tutorial you can’t turn off.

Well I guess it expected for Blue book hidden object.

I was hoping for more. Like animated videos.

The Adventures of Fatman: Intergalactic Indigestion

The Adventures of Fatman: Intergalactic Indigestion

Sorry, but no.

I enjoyed the first Fatman game, but this is nothing like it:

  • It is smaller. Much smaller than the first.

  • It has no speech. (The first one had)

  • It is NOT point & click. It is purely drag & drop, which is, well… a drag.

  • It is not a complete story. At some point you return to the fatcave to get some paperwork for a new member and… game over.

Yes, the cost is minimal, but at the same price the first Fatman offers much, much more. It should be given as a free prologue to a series of episodes that will never come.
