Overview:

This has become one of my new favorite games! I have been playing it almost every night to wind down before bed. The music is very relaxing and with dark mode it’s easy on the eyes for nighttime. If you like the aesthetic of Mini Metro and Hexcells I think you will enjoy this game.

Game Modes:

My favorite game modes are Classic and Blitz. I also really love Zen when I just want to play a casual game. I really appreciate that I have the ability to select the type of game I would like to play based on my mood. You aren’t stuck to just one game mode like some other puzzle games. It helps to make the game more dynamic and also addictive! You can play super relaxing game modes or if you are more into fast paced challenging games you have that option as well.

It’s a very relaxing game. Perfect for when you just want to chill out and still exercise your brain a little. I liked the idea of a color-based Sudoku. It would be interesting if we had an option for customizing our own palettes.

TLDR: Orbit management game that punishes the player for interacting with the game. Play Rotastic instead for a more engaging derivative of this.

Orbit is a game in which a number of planets are on a map. Your little moon gets thrust in the general orbit of the first planet, and through unity engine physics you loop around said celestial bodies until you reach a fixed quota.

You can adjust the orbit orientation by… expending part of the mass of the moon, shedding some of it to change direction. The moon shrinks, which if not done very carefully, will guarantee that you will shrink out before you reach your quota.

edit: every issue got fixed (undo, back to menu, windowed mode), so flipped the review to positive.

schematic is all about turning on lights, much like turn on the light . in this case, both black and gray energy has to reach each lamp, at which point they’ll excuse themselves from the circuit. that’s the general idea, though there are a few other mechanics, like fuses that disappear if they don’t get energy from either end, but their removal is not a win condition. in fact, their presence is often crucial for solving a level.

I purchased this game a few day’s ago and I was immediately drawn to the gameplay. For someone who enjoy’s a lot of puzzle games, this was a good pass-time to play for a few hours at a time. The levels does continuously get harder and focus more on the problem solving. I definitely recommend the game for those who like to give your brain a small challenge.

Edit– Just beat it- Was a fantastic game– Looking forward for future content. Honestly- For the price this game is well worth the 8 bucks I paid for this and they plan on adding more content.

Really simple and relaxing game, kinda like that water pipe game. It does get challenging.

Ran into some bugs and a level issue, devs got back to me personally, which felt odd– Reflecting on it, it kinda made me think this is what early access is really about. Homie said he would fix and update the game quickly. Felt like the dude was personally making me a video game– It was odd, but, hell… These are the kinda devs I want to support.

Kanso

Kanso

How to describe Kanso? Well, you play with your mouse, and you have to draw a line around a shape! Sounds pretty simple right?

This is one of those relaxing, zen like games, where you think everything is all easy and simple, but quickly you realise that things take some skill. This is a “line following” game. Everything is very bright and colourful and really is a joy to play.

As you draw around the shapes, there are “Koi like Daemons”, they kind of look like giant sperms, or perhaps tadpoles, they are on their own little journey, come into contact with them and you will have to start again. As you draw your line, you cannot go backwards, only forwards, but you can speed up or slow down, or even stop, that will allow you to avoid the Daemons, and finish the shape. As you progress through the levels, the shapes become more interesting and there are more Daemons to avoid, some will try to follow you, some will avoid you, some do not care about you. But you must always care about all of them if you want to progress.

Osmos

Osmos

Osmos, a place where zen and chaos meet in perfect harmony. This is challenging title with near endless possible solutions if you’ve the patience to float your way to find them and achieve victory. Currently sold on steam stores for £7.19, it is a fine addition to any puzzling/physics-based gamers library, albeit a little pricey for a game of its age. Available on PC and now updated for newer version Mac’s as of 2019.

Released in 2009, I bought Osmos a year after release, which feels now like a great many years ago. I found comfort in the ambience and challenge in the controllable pace, which challenged my younger self’s hubris and rewards my older self’s ability in employing patience to see how things unfold over time.

Real player with 45.5 hrs in game

The principle of this game is fairly easy: you start off as a small sphere shaped object (I call it the “cell”) and seek to be the largest object on the rectangular shaped map. The rules are simple: if you touch a cell smaller than you in dimensions, you consume the counterpart and grow larger. If you make contact with a larger object, you will be consumed. You can move only by discharging mass from within your cell in the opposite direction you wish to move along. The repulsive force will accelerate your movement. Of course this will make you shrink and be exposed to new threats. So you better not waste too much mass. You are given only one tool and that is the control over the pace of time.

Fool’s Paradise is a beautiful indie game. I liked everything about it: atmosphere, music, puzzles. I recommend buy this game. 10/10

This game…. in simple words.. painful. Unfortunately i thought it would be a fun indie game to checkout but after playing it for about an hour and getting nowhere I am calling this a bust. The camera and motion controls are lacking. Interacting with objects is awful. Its makes noises like you have done something but nothing occurs. There is no clear direction and although in most games that take that approach this is a subtle suggestion on flow to the story where as this game has not flow at all. Honestly its like painful. I don’t want to crush developers but in this case it needs some TLC. Def not trying again.

Elder Puzzle

Elder Puzzle

Let me start off by saying, the achievement Level 11 is glitched. Even after completing every level I still can’t get it to pop so that is a little annoying. However, the game is actually pretty fun. The puzzles don’t take too long but they are quite enjoyable and well put together. The game is rather short but is pretty fun for $0.50 or $1.

Real player with 0.7 hrs in game

Elder Puzzle is a “template flip”, that is to say, it’s a “game” that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple jigsaw puzzle game with retro pixel “art” pictures.

This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It’s almost as bad as an outright asset flip.

A top down shooter that reminds me of Sunset Riders from consoles long ago. Take a look at my video posted above to get a sense of gameplay. Be mindful to take note of the control scheme listed on the store page as there are no in game reminders. I found myself jabbing at the keyboard trying to find out but not before being murdered by the first enemy over and over again. I will say that the pace of the game is a bit slow and because of that level progression is very slow. I spent 20 minutes on mission 2 and never completed it.
