The Victorian style really caught my eye the monsters seem decent and the game play looks compelling, its really nice to see so many indie game devs these days breathing fresh air in an otherwise stale market, keep up the good work

TeamTower

Aefen Fall
Caveats:
-
The game is buggy and glitches. A LOT! And the devs will not (be able to) fix it.
-
The game is short. I have no idea how you can spend 45 minutes in a playthrough as stated on the store page. Realistically it will take you around 30 for your first run with failing a lot of jumps and not knowing where to go. Subsequent runs should scratch on the speed run goal time of 15 minutes.

You can get Mirror’s Edge and its sequel on sale for the full price of this game. (At least in Euro.)
That being said, I still recommend it. The developers were pretty upfront about the state of the game, its shortcomings and their lack of support. It’s a student project by graduates. Would have been nice if they released it for free, sure, but the price is cheap enough to forgive the lack of polish and content, especially on sale.

This game has a lot of pros and cons, but I still recommend at least on sale. But even at full price, it’s cheap, and has replay value, especially when the cons get addressed.
Pros:
-
FANTASTIC visuals and art design!
-
Fun gameplay design, that allows opportunities to mix things up if you want to.
-
Many routes, for high replay value, and to challenge yourself with the fastest shortcuts.
Cons:
-
MANY moments of bugs with clipping, getting stuck, and inputs not working very well.
-
VERY abrupt and unclear ending, though it was expected for a student project with a time limit.

Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance
I can’t belive this game is in Steam! My first hack and slash game of my childhood
Good story, gore combat, finishers, weapon upgrades, variety of enemies, etc
And not only that, they added trading cards and achievements so it’s more enjoyable
The negative thing is that mouse players are fu*ked. There is no support for mouse. It seems like the company who decided to re-launch this old title (Acclaim entertainment was the original developer) is forcing you to buy a controller lol. I remember playing this game back in 2003 with mouse without problems

I hate the controls, I can barely change them. I´m a WASD player, I cannot play well with the arrows.
UPDATE: I managed to change the arrows to WASD, but no mouse for the attacks. I assigned other keys for the attacks. It´s playable now, anyway.
I only wish the movement vectors were attached to my view, not the gladiator´s (much like in drones, where you can choose which vector the drone will obey). For example, if the character is facing left, and I want him to keep going left, I have to press forward, not left. It´s annoying. Sometimes, in the middle of a huge brawl, it´s very hard to make the gladiator go the direction I want.

Chronicles of Sarval: Bridges of Koni
The game positively surprised me, the best aspects are:
GAMEPLAY: very simple and intuitive
CHALLENGE: innovative and different because combine the 2D arcade adventure with a simple puzzle.
SOUND: very well crafted and takes the player into a complete immersion
PLOT: complete, makes the player curious to reach the end of the game.

Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
It’s a good game. It’s not great because… because the ending part of the game had to be rushed (studio ran out of funds) and it’s felt. Where Barcelona and surrounding area is lush with story with great amount of choices and consequences, somewhere after the middle the game becomes very linear with no consequences of any action you perform – or already have, minor or major. You can still influence the ending but it all feels so… well, cut, be it Good or Evil. Healthy imagination allows rich foresight into what it could’ve been and, and… Ah, the bitterness of bliss. The game is so close to awesome.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag. The beginning in Barcelona is a lot of fun, visually appealing (despite aging poorly), decent voice acting and overall fun. There are issues in the start area, mainly talk your way out or fight it out. Many skills are totally irrelevant and the import/export mechanic allows for some rather interesting builds. After finishing France, the studio was running out of money and it shows, the voice acting almost totally disappears and the quests just become a slog through dungeons packed with monsters. It turns from a fun and reasonably light Diabloesqe RPG into a brutal slog that is a major pain in the A** to complete. If it was not for the easily abused import/export mechanic I would have never finished the game. BTW fix the texture bug on Windows 10 devices it’s frustrating to see, also so form of multiplayer servers would be greatly appreciated.

Nigate Tale
I absolutely love the game
I have been playing it since it was in test version and have seen the growth and changes of the game over the time. My current playtime on record is far below the actuall one since i played it a lot offline aswell as on the test version which isnt included in the record and should be overall 80 hours of playtime at the point of writing the review.
So lets start by who would like the game?
If you like roguelike games, anime monster waifus, slashing enemys and fighting bosses, a game with a great learning curve (its likely the first runs gona feel unfair), anime art style, if you like or dont mind playing early acces games , games with devs showing interest and passion for the game,

ShemHaMephorash
A historical low fantasy strategy game surrounding the Great Game and Golem technology at the end of the 19th century
Long ago, humankind received special grace in the form of “words.”
“ShemHaMephorash”, which moves clay dolls and gives them miracles, supported civilization.
In addition, the world called and praised the people who manipulated that special power as “Scribe (Rabbi).”
Over the years, humankind has been devoted to battle, just like historical facts, and rabbis has been deeply involved in battle.
That didn’t change during the 1878 Afghanistan’s war and The Anglo-Russian Great Game.
Now, at the crossroads of civilization,
lead your chosen nation to victory and unravel the mystery hidden in the miraculous language “ShemHaMephorash” while following the stories of the rabbis.
■ Game system
This game is a derivative of the strategy game “Vahrentuga”, which consists of a turn-based strategy phase and an RTS-style tactical phase set in the Second Anglo-Afghan War that broke out in 1878.
The purpose of the basic game is to expand your territory and use the income from that territory to take advantage of the battle and keep your army alive until the end of the story.
In addition, you must achieve the victory conditions set for each story.
- At the lowest difficulty level, you can ignore this victory condition.
■ Strategy phase
In the Strategic Phase, you can hire soldiers, select territories to attack, deploy defense forces, and improve territories as use special compartments.
The most important thing in battle is a stable logistics.
Let’s prepare the military and domestic affairs suitable for the war situation and steadily grow the power.
■ Tactical phase
In the tactical phase, RTS-style battles that mainly combine four types of infantry, artillery, cavalry, and rabbi are fought.
Your tactics can easily overturn sometimes inferior situations.
■ About operability
Basic operations can be performed with just the mouse and space key,
and in the tactical phase, you can operate each unit while pausing the game at any time.
