Red Rust
Red Rust is retro-style side-scrolling game which uniquely combines fighting mechanics with shooting mechanics. The game is heavily inspired by 8bit and 16bit hits of the 90s, but it’s being developed with the modern player in mind. Tons of great animation, hand-drawn backgrounds, variety of in-game situations and powerful soundtrack!
It’s the year 1984 and you control Agent Red (or just Red), a soviet KGB officer who has been sent to the West on a secret mission. She is an attractive but brutal and cold-hearted girl! Over the course of the game she learns to understand her own emotions and the unfamiliar world around her.

Kung Fu Jesus
I haven’t finished the game yet but this is my impression so far.
Gameplay:
The gameplay consists mostly of a “2.5D” world I guess where you move side to side and you can move a little bit up and down the environment as well with mostly simple fighting mechanics in my limited experience of fighting games. There are fun combos that you can learn from doing different things and there are abilities that you can discover as you progress, all the while gradually leveling up your total health and energy levels.

It’s painful to play this game long enough to be allowed to review it.
It’s obvious that someone put a lot of time into this game, and the whacked out story had me interested in progressing, but… the gameplay is so bad I can’t force myself to continue. Unfortunately, the game sat in my library for almost a month before I played it, so I was outside the time window for a refund. Please learn from my loss.

Wow wow wow
This beautiful game is just truly SOMETHING else I gotta say.
Really cool game wish it had achievements though would make it an even cooler game. Generally the best $1.99 I’ve ever spent on anything in my entire life, very well spoken plus interesting story and also amazing game play. Will definitely spend many hours playing this game later on.

Tales Of Glory
2021 EDIT:
So seeing as I’ve put a good 56 hours into this game now, figured i’d “update” my review.
Long story short:
I really can’t describe how impressed I am with the Dev, and both the incredible pace & progress he’s managed to single handedly accomplish (between two games no-less).
I swear within a month he’s been able to rework physics entirely (with incredible responsiveness to community feedback, beta updates almost DAILY), add MOD SUPPORT (yus), reworked entire weapon colliders and physics, added procedural dungeons, in-game MAGIC system (with voice recog)… the list is endless.

The developer (yes one guy) did a great job at bringing this sandbox to VR, fulfilling our fantasies of medieval mayhem. While it’s still a little rough around the edges, there’s much potential to be had.
Pros:
1. Combat is fun, great variety of weapons for you to chop, stab, maim, crush, pulverize, shoot, impale, FORCE PUSH (!?! theres a lightsaber in the game for lols), thor hammer smash, punch to death with.
2. When you land a stab or chop at an enemy, it feels satisfying as the enemy attempts to dodge/parry/block so you feel like your’e fighting something that fights back….a little.
