They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror

Unexplained phenomena occurred at Grayswood Farm. On the night of August 7th, the Sherman family witnessed bright lights in the sky that moved at a breakneck speed over the cornfield. The lights moved in a random direction and at different speeds, after a while they vanished. This strange behaviour in the sky was observed at night, at the same time, for 5 days.

According to the owner of the farm, all the animals went crazy, the dog became aggressive, tried to attack him and bit him. Children complained that someone was walking under their windows. Farmer Peter Sherman himself, in the field, saw a strange figure that did not look like a man.

What is it? Deliberate deception? Drawing attention to oneself? Or a sensation about an alien invasion? Journalist Taylor Fox travels to Grayswood Farm to make a photo report for a local newspaper.

• Explore. Light the path with a torch. Look into dark barns and cruise the night fields.

• Take pictures. Photograph the evidence of alien presence and paranormal activity.

• Study. Find the records of the Sherman family and learn the horrifying truth.

#### What kind of work is this?

This is a Top Down third person shooting game(TPS) with role playing game(RPG) elements. Hope to bring you different wonderful game experience.

In a remote village in the north of a country, as a meteor streaked across the night sky, a UFO crashed into the valley. The escape of an unnamed creature triggered an official action and the surrounding villagers were evacuated. A female police officer who was arresting the murderer and a male special combat team member who was carrying out the exercise were unintentionally involved in the accident. With a loud noise, it seems that there is a black hole isolated from the world. There are also innocent villagers on the road who can be evacuated in the future. Can our protagonist escape from this black hole like barrier and alien monster? It seems that there is only one blood way out.

The story background of this game comes from an unfinished science fiction suspense novel that the author is creating. This is first adapted into game works. Please look forward to the end of the novel.

Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation

I think this is one of the best games ever made. Its ironic it came on the heels of the disaster which was Colonial Marines (Which I kind of like, particularly in its extended content which is where Isolation originated)

Anyway, really scary AI Alien that one shots you and does learn your play habits forcing you to constantly change things up. Excellent attention to detail of the original Alien movie props. Its a game filled with jump-scares even when you know whats coming. Game allows backtracking to previous set pieces once you have more equipment to deal with obstructions.

I’ll keep this simple: best horror game ever made, go play now.

For Alien fans: if you haven’t played this, you’re missing out on something better than Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection combined could have ever been. This is the true 3rd installment in the franchise and is a true piece of art from start to finish in all its details.

The air is running out and the power of the space station is running low. Will you survive?

The Day They Came

The Day They Came

So I was really curious about this game, sadly the developer got a little excited and released this game way too early.

The game has no enemies, no options menu, no way to exit the game or instructions.

Once you chop down some trees that fall and then spaz out due to some crazy physics all you can do is access a build menu that let’s you create some walls, steps, floor, door, base and I couldn’t use the floor as a ceiling like it suggested.

The game has at least a 30 minute night cycle making it almost impossible to do anything, much less see.

Xenomare

Xenomare

Xenomare is a fun little Survival Horror Roguelike it very hard and I died a lot. In this game, you have to search for items and do the task then leave. This is all done well having to avoid and hide from the enemy. There are a few maps and difficulties. I was mostly playing on easy and was still dying a lot. This game does have a big problem with the full screen being off the screen to the bottom right. I fixed this by using a program called Borderless Gaming. Overall, I recommend giving this a try if you like Survival Horror games and afford to spend $8 if not you can wait for a sale. Just know this game is still an Early Access Game so the dev is still working on it.

Abducted: The Night Hunters

Just read!

It’s so sad to see the good game being completely unknown. Perhaps you’re not sure about quality of this game. I understand, - it only has a few reviews, and yep, it’s only made by one person, which usually means that the game wouldn’t be good enough, but this one… is surely exception. Frankly speaking, i also thought it’s going to be something typical, like most of modern indie horror games. And yet, “i gave it a try”, and completely changed my mind. This game is awesome, and here’s why:

Aliens: Fireteam Elite

Aliens: Fireteam Elite

Fun and well designed cooperative games have been hard to come by for me as of late. I’ve tried sinking my teeth into a few of them over the years, only to be disappointed by shoddy mechanics and plodding gameplay. But then out of nowhere… two of them that were created in the 3rd person perspective eventually shot out of the dark and surprised me. Those two games coincidentally were 3-player arranged coop games titled Remnant: From the Ashes and now of course Aliens: Fireteam Elite.

Rating: 4/10

Mediocre game with lots of bugs.

Game is pretty much “dead” with only 592 current players (941 24-hr peak). Finding a match at medium to higher difficulties is nearly impossible.

The game itself is interesting, but you can’t rely on matchmaking. Inviting friends is pretty much needed.

It can get boring quickly with only 4 maps (with 4 small parts each) that are available to play.

The game hub seems so lazily made it is almost pointless and could more or less be replaced with a menu.

Station 35

Station 35

Ran into a few quirks with the ai and some interaction prompts but other than that, my friend and I had a really good time with this. I got spooked pretty good a few times but I managed to escape! It’s a pretty simple but well put together game aside from a few issues.

I love the weird stuff, especially in horror games. The kind of stuff you have to dig 40 pages into the tags to find, stuff that has 0-10 reviews. Is it good? Who knows! Station 35 is the weird stuff. Of writing, this game has one single review and I found it by digging about 40-50 pages into the horror tag. So, is it good? tl;dr, yes.

This game speaks of a passion project. It’s perfect by no means and rings with design that is amateur, but it’s very much made with love. You often hear people tell others, “why don’t you make your own game if you want X?” and it feels like someone set out to do just that with Station 35. The game reads like your classic sci-fi horror: aliens on the ship, you need to get out. To do so, you are presented with three possible exits, one on each floor of a sprawling and dark spaceship. Each exit has three items it requires, be they keys or tools or ship parts, before you can use it to escape. Each of these items is scattered randomly throughout the ship, leaving you sneaking down corridors and into rooms trying to find that damned red key card since the yellow opened the first door and this blue one won’t do the trick for the second. As you do this, you’re presented with two main hazards: the blind, docile creatures that inhabit the hangars and the roving monstrosity that prowls the ship.

Cargo Breach

Cargo Breach

Who Turned the Lights out!

Cargo Breach is an arcade like shooter where you enter a room with a number of alien enemies, clear the room and move onto the next.

There are 3 different types of guns and the unique thing about these guns is they are all customized by how you adjust your hand positions. By default you have two pistols but can turn them into a mini gun or plasma launcher both of which also have alternate firing modes.

Each weapon works better against different types of enemies so quickly knowing which to switch it at any moment is key to doing well in this game.

I received this in a bundle and wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but surprise: it’s a really fun game! It has that dark and creepy aliens/doom 3 type atmosphere, with simple but satisfying shooting and teleport mechanics. I love the way they incorporated the tracked motion controller to create the different guns! At points it’s really tough; like you teleport right into the middle of a room, surrounded by bad guys. Hope you have a wireless solution :) I’ll take this one over many of the other monster-wave-shooters any day. (Also, the ping pong minigame in the lobby has surprisingly good physics, too.)
