Story & Lore:
Several months ago, the Lab went black… Communications were lost with the outside worlds.
Residents on-board have no idea what triggered the Lab into stasis that released the dangerous exhibits to roam throughout the cargo-holds to search for sustenance.
Everyone and everything on the Lab has been reduced to utilizing whatever resources they have or can find to survive, not knowing when, or even if, help would arrive.
In the deep of space, you board the seemingly dead ghost ship…

Under Domain - Alien Invasion Simulator
This game feels like the creator made a unique and interesting system to play this game but then refuses to teach anyone how to use it. The tutorial even states it’s a LIMITED tutorial and you will learn the more advanced parts of the game with play… except the game play is totally static with no learning curve, so the advanced functions and parts of the game are impossible to reach. At first I figured I was playing the game wrong or just not getting something, but after going to find some kind of guide online (there are none at the time of writing this), or looking at the game’s web page for more information (the game’s page is only a landing page with screen shots, logos, and PR/Sales Hype), and then finally the game reviews/comments that all have the same problem with the game play and then some… I am now pretty sure this game isn’t finished and there are commands and graphics missing to advance the game play. Glad I got this on sale for like $2 since even $6 for this game is over priced as the game currently stands.

The game is really good-looking, definitely an interesting idea. The art, graphics, sound - top notch! And there are a lot of possibilities for further update, which, judging from Antarctica screenshot from “About this game”-section, might be coming (
! I didn’t see a way to build Earth, Moon or ocean bases ).
Basically you play as an alien race that, for a good reason (from their perspective), wants to invade the Earth. And with maximum of 12 decades (from year 1900) and 10 turns per decade you can invade the Earth by 2020 (yep)!

Unless I am missing something there is no way to start the game. Possibly a bad mobile port? You get to what appears to be the main launch page and there is no ‘new game’ no ‘start’ button just the image of a planet and the name of the game V1.0. I have submitted the only screenshot. Unless this is fixed I obviously can’t recommend this game.

Drake’s Odds: Survive
Drake’s Odds: Survive is a multiplayer survival game in which the main character is an alien from the planet Exomon who must survive on the planet Earth, which is hostile and unknown to him, fighting, crafting and using the powers and technology in his possession.
The game is set on the lush island of San Tecla which consists of 64 km² of beautiful landscapes that you can explore with terrestrial vehicles (such as cars or quads) or extraterrestrials ones (such as spaceships).
In this overwhelming survival shooter game, you will be able to experience the sensation of putting yourself in the shoes of the invader, facing the earthly creatures or using them to your advantage by taking control of their body and mind to exploit their skills and knowledge.
And if you think that he belongs to a technologically advanced race and because of that it will be easy for you to excel over humans, then you are totally wrong. You are, after all, part of the minority on a completely unknown planet and with people thirsty to know your technological secrets and who will use every available weapon to steal them from you and put a spoke in the wheel. Therefore it won’t be easy, but you can always cooperate with other players or try to conquer our bizarre world by yourself.
- KNOWLEDGE POINTS’ COLLECTION
The extraterrestrial finding himself trapped on an alien planet, in order to survive and find a way to come back home, will have to quickly learn to know the surrounding environment. Therefore he will use his powers to steal knowledge from humans that will allow him to learn new recipes for the construction of objects useful for his survival.
- CRAFTING
Craft the means for your survival: weapons and platforms will be of precious use to face any situation against any enemy: craft a bulletproof vest or a respawn point near your operative base and begin the counterattack!
- BUILD YOUR BASE
You know that in order to survive in an unknown and hostile planet, you must be able to count on a secure base to protect yourself, your food and your weapons and from which you can study in peace the strategies to reach the goal of prevailing over the enemy and find a way to return to your planet.
Also, during the game, it will be possible to make the base more resistant and technological thanks to a four-level system upgrade (wood, stone, metal, alien).
- FIGHT
Fight against or ally with the other factions, but you should always watch your back! In “Drake’s Odds: Survive”, danger is around the corner, what appears to be a harmless bird could turn out to be the spy of the enemy clan studying your movements.
- AI POSSESS
Take control of humans and animals to strategically exploit their different abilities depending on the NPC possessed. You will also be able to store and keep captured NPCs in cryogenic cages or capsules for you to strategically use them when you need them.
- SONAR
Identify those around you by activating a limited-duration ray that will allow you to highlight neighboring NPCs, distinguishing those owned by other players from those managed by the AI.
- ALIEN VEHICLES
Fly over the skies of the map with the spaceship with which you can hook and drag characters and vehicles with its beam of light and hit enemies with its powerful laser beam.

On The Earth Shift :)
“On the Earth Shift :)" is a VR resource management game / romantic experience about doing your silly alien job while your silly alien fish friend watches.
Your silly alien job is, as the title would imply, taking care of the Earth! It is your job to ensure that all aspects of Earth life flourish in perfect harmony, including global temperature, the horniess of the population, and the desire to dominate / submit to one another.
However, alien management from Glorf-31 have their own ideas on how Earth should be managed, such as Snarglarff Sneet, obsessed with extracting value from Earth, Elgore Smankoff, who wishes to perform sick experiments on the planet, and Mire Oodle, who just wants a friend, along with many others. It is your job to accept or deny their requests, as the world’s fate hangs in the balance,
SQUIDS FROM SPACE
This title reminds me a tiny bit of the game Fat Princess, including how carrying the commanders back to base in a group is faster. I look forward to future updates. There is potential here. I will review this game properly once the game is more fleshed out.
Edit: I didn’t know it initially but the Fat Princess connection ran deeper than I thought, having Devs from that game. They are very friendly, inviting to play, and responsive to the small community that exists here. I really want this game to do well. It is a shame that it is buried under lackluster AAA titles and throngs of cookie cutter indie games and asset flips. Some of the criticisms starting to pop up are are understandable, to a point, from the average gamer’s standpoint. There is a server rotation that allows users to have better ping at different points in the day based on play time in a given region. Server costs are obviously an issue and this is the way that they decided to to do things with the current community size. From a technical standpoint this is an Early Access title, and there are bugs, but even still it is highly playable, and gorgeous to look at. I saw one review pointing out that a dev was in-game cheating, yet they were ignorant in the fact that the Dev was using something accessible to all players. Ignorance in itself is NOT inherently bad as that is simply the absence of knowledge. But, people are making snap judgements without further investigating a situation and making conclusions with willful ignorance which IS entirely bad. The game is coming along. It’s small, but that is also reflected in the price point. More people need to play this game, it is a gem in the rough and I would hate to see it go under. The bots are decent and my friends and I have been defeated by them one time or another, but you can start to learn their ways. As with most games, it is definitely a more challenging experience when played against other people and you will often see more people on during the weekends. When a full game gets going it is frantic and chaotic in all the good ways.

Very fun game, even in early access! The devs are very in tune with the community and eager to improve the game, and I dont get the impression that’s going to change any time soon. Squids has elements of a MOBA, but has a quality to it that i think appeals to people who both like and dislike MOBAS. I personally am not a huge fan of them, but the gameplay in Squids is more fast paced than a typical MOBA, which to me makes it more fun. There are elements of map control and team levelling that will make seasoned MOBA players feel right at home as well. I’m excited to see how the game develops on a competitive level, especially as the devs continue to expand the game’s content. Definitely worth checking out!

USC: Counterforce is a turn- and squad-based, tactical sci-fi strategy game, the direct sequel both story- and gameplay-wise to Ultimate Space Commando (“USC” for short), taking up on the events where USC ended. Inbound UFO
This game is brilliant! Many cool new things that made me spend a lot of time ingame. I usually don’t write reviews but as a tower defense fan and not finding enough reviews on this one, I had to say that it really brings some novelty on the genre (I had to re-think all my strategies learned in other TDs).
I like how the enemy is fighting with me, they struggle to bring my towers down :D, very nice animations and there is something interesting and addictive with the AI that I can’t pinpoint exactly.

Polaris Sector
Nice and deep space 4X game, definately the best of the recent releases. It also avoided a common fact with 4X which is that many features are copy/pasted beetween games, so it will feel fresh even if you’re used to the genre.
In a nutshell, it’s a bit rough but a must for every space 4X fan. It shines in empire management, elegant mechanics, diplomacy. It would deserve a bit more streamlining.
Why is it better than most other 4X?
+ Rewarding diplomacy:
Interactions pretty rational. There are many possibilities, from trading ressources (shortages are common so that’s handy), to technologies, to being able to use friendly planets as bases for your fleet or asking for a 3rd party to negociate a peace with your ennemy, or bribe them into getting into war against your ennemy (or request a bribe to help them!)

Pro:
[olist]
- A.I. (Articial Intelligence) - I cannot emphasis or stress enough of how extremely good the A.I. is. It’s probably one of the most advanced one I’ve seen in a 4x game genre. I absolutely love how it handles playing against me and handling my orders for planets, colonization, and etc (without the need to micromanage everything). Again, the A.I. in this game is just so good that it cannot be expressed sufficiently of how good it is. Even the developer of this game admits that hard is very tough for him.
