Abducted: The Night Hunters
Just read!
It’s so sad to see the good game being completely unknown. Perhaps you’re not sure about quality of this game. I understand, - it only has a few reviews, and yep, it’s only made by one person, which usually means that the game wouldn’t be good enough, but this one… is surely exception. Frankly speaking, i also thought it’s going to be something typical, like most of modern indie horror games. And yet, “i gave it a try”, and completely changed my mind. This game is awesome, and here’s why:

Saints and Sinners is a game heavily inspired by Among Us.
You start with a maximum of 8 people, most are saints but 1 or more play as sinners.
Saints get a task list that they should complete but they also need to work together and try to figure out who the sinner is.
Sinners need to act like they do the tasks, win trust and brutally slaughter the poor saints one by one when nobody is watching them.
You communicate with each other through the in-game chat or voice chat and you can share your suspicions at any moment of the game.

Quick bite sized games that run really well and I constantly go back to the same games.

Zombaliens
It’s actually a really fun mashup of immersive sim and retro shooter ideas. While it’s not the same as Cruelty Squad, it definitely has some similar DNA and if you enjoyed that game you’ll feel pretty at home with this similar brand of off the wall indie jank. I went in expecting something goofy and extremely unpolished but was surprised that it plays pretty well and actually has some exciting firefights so far. I particularly enjoyed one part where you’re exchanging shots with enemies between two opposite sides of a skyscraper as windows and props shatter around you. Only meaningful complaints I have so far are that hitscanners can be a bit over aggressive and it’s almost impossible to avoid damage from certain enemies.

I’m not finished playing the game. Despite that, I wanted to chip in with a review.
Despite the rough cartoonish appearances, Zombaliens is surprisingly fun. The game tasks you in most levels with finding humans who are stuck in zombie cocoons and freeing them (with the occasional boss fight to break it up). Navigating the levels can be a treat due to the immersive sim interactivity elements as well as the plethora of routes provided. You can sneak throughout levels, shooting lights, and moving yourself to an ideal spot to catch enemies by surprise or avoid them entirely. Some routes are only available if you have certain weapons which provides some fun returning to levels. Additionally, it’s fun to just try and navigate as quickly as you can throughout a level and try to improve on previous times.

Prey
9.5/10 – One of the best games I’ve played in the past decade. Easily in my top 10 games of all time.
A modern-day Bioshock… on crack!
⚠️⚠️This review does 𝗡𝗢𝗧 contain any spoilers but other reviews might. The game is story-centric with key plot points and twists which some turd-burgers like to spoil⚠️⚠️
I played Prey (2017) just after it released and really didn’t know what to expect, I read that it had some cool weapons and crafting mechanics so I gave it a try and… Oh My Goodness… it’s incredible! I have now completed 5 full playthroughs and even created some mods for the game as well as helping others create or improve mods. It is genuinely one of the most immersive, jaw-dropping, captivating games I have ever played, I adore it, and it regularly goes on sale for under £$€5 which is the bargain of the century.

They are weak, bothersome, without brains. You will be better. Scan and slam, until it is done.
Too Long; Didn’t Read: Prey is an immersive, slow paced, adventure game that not only creates tension through its horror-inspired enemies and its dark hallways, but also thanks to its morbid technologies and concepts.
It rewards exploration and attention to detail, and the world itself is probably one of the best and most realised in gaming. Its puzzlelike approach to combat may alienate some, but understanding it comes as part of the well-balanced progression.

Bottle Flip Challenge VR
This is actually a pretty fun game and its incredibly unrealistic which makes it hilarious to do caps from across the map lol but a suggestion of something they could add is possibly more different bottle types for more difficulty or more ease (other than the cans on the moon of course)

Battlecruiser Millenium Gold was for a long time only available as a DVD with copy protection, has never been freeware and became rare. Being a favorite of many fans and after a request (by me among others), it has now been re-released as download on Steam (for now) in a bundle with its predecessors to celebrate the 25th birthday of Battlecruiser 2000AD’s release.
The reasons for a purchase must be clarified by everyone for themselves. Except Battlecruiser Millenium Gold, all other games are free to find on abandonware sites.

I can’t recommend this game at the moment. When it’s finished it will be OK.I will be reluctant to buy any game in future on first release.Basically you are paying to test the game.Wait until the game has been updated as mentioned in other threads and then buy it.

Its a bit rough around the edges but the devs are very responsive to feedback and eager to fix bugs. Some parts were a bit of a drag and some parts really engaging especially the end. Overall I enjoyed the experience. I think its value for money especially considering the recent price drop.
The good stuff
I thought the world building and lore were excellent; really immersive. Voice acting was decent and graphically its very nice. I also had no problems with performance and there was a recent patch to improve performance even more.

Star Explorers
This game gives you really tons of gameplay features for only 5$ and is still worked on to get even better.
Exploring a vast universe with random suns and planets that you can land on to complete your main mission, retrieve fuel for your mothership and engaging in varying adventures in FPS against aliens, cave hazards and hostile environments. You can freely walk in your ship, for the moment there is not much to do inside it other than accessing the landing bay for your shuttle or managing your inventory, but wandering around and simply looking outside gives the game a real atmosphere. Then, yes, in the current beta - and soon in the regular version I guess - there are now space battles against alien flying saucers that you can board to loot even more needed items.

I figure a game like this deserves some more reviews. I have books on Amazon and they get very few reviews, so I imagine it’s the same with game makers, they would prefer more people leave some reviews for their games so more gamers can get an idea what other gamers think of these games.
The game has you exploring different star systems looking for resources on planets with different hazards, like extreme cold or heat and atmospheres that might be radiated or poisonous and you have to upgrade your space suit to handle more and more dangerous environments. You typically head down into caves to find resources and sometimes chests with items that might be useful to you. You can find alien life forms on some planets.

Lilith Odyssey
I’ve been having a harder time enjoying new games… something interesting will come out and it will pique my interest, only to realize it’s not what I had imagined. Although I have been getting more and more of these Hentai games, but am I at fault for thinking the gameplay would be on par with the graphics and art work? Not in this game, it might not have cat girls or dominating succubi, but this game has a lot more. How much more? A whole galaxy. And by the way, these questions are rhetorical for the sake of this writing prompt of a review, if I ask a question I’m probably asking that to myself while writing and don’t expect anyone to message me with the answer to the question I provided.

Lilith Odyssey is a bold undertaking for a small indie dev team but the concept is well executed although not without some expected bugs (that from what I can tell the dev team is actively working through).
The game play is a mix between the Oregon Trail (get to your destination), flight sim, open world exploration/adventure, with a Fallout/GTA esque radio station thrown in for kicks. Ultimately this is a risk and resource management game where you gather resources to (safely) get from your starting home world to Lilith.
