Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex
Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex isn’t dino-mite at all, and to be fair it’s pretty terrible. The graphics are just ugly, really ugly, It felt they were trying to create that old arcade game feel but it doesn’t do any wonders. And the gameplay gets repetitive really quickly and the controls are just awkward and hard to get used to. And the worst thing about this game is that Horrible music, the music is just agony and not only that it repeats over and over to the point where you feel that your ears are going to bleed. The story is simple and nothing special you play as Sue the T-rex who is woken up by an invading alien race who want to take over the world and it’s up to you to save it, not much to phone home about. Kids might enjoy the game but adults, meh, not so much at all. Rating: 1/10

This is a great game for the kids as a time waster. It’s even split screen coop if you want to play with them. The buttons are few so it’s easy for them to learn the controls. For $3 normal price / under $1 on sale, it’s worth it if you have kids that like to play.

Battle Arena VR
The game is a very immersive and dynamic, fast-paced shooter. Easy to get the controls and survive but harder to master, especially when my opponents use the hook to move around faster and in less predictable ways. I wish the bots to be smarter and to be able to fly around as I do (they just walk and jump). Worth checking out!

There are great games. There are great free games. But you know you’re playing something really fantastic when you’re playing a free game and you feel like you should be sending money to someone. This is a very fun game. It’s a PVP battle arena in VR with a twist. You’ve got a choice of weapons in your right hand, but in your left hand you have an electronic grappling hook that basically lets you navigate the map like you’re Spiderman. I was in the process of looping under a suspended pedestrian walkway and firing my hook into a new attachment point so that I would spiral back over the top of the bride to finish off an opponent when I realized that my face hurt from grinning. The tether that attaches to your hook has just enough elasticity that you can swing and bounce all over the map but still retain some semblance of control. The graphics are a little bit minecraft-ish, which isn’t my favorite stylistic choice, but the playability and engagement are off the charts. It’s one of those games that is just FUN. It’s immersive and everything just works/feels just right. They’ve done a particularly good job with the sound design and haptic feedback for your weapons. There’s something viscerally satisfying about feeling the kick from the gun and a specific type of haptic feedback that lets you know that you’ve hit your target or confirms a kill. It’s easy to dive in and start shooting, but there’s enough complexity that you’re not going to just immediately reach your maximum skill level. You play fast paced 5 minute matches with about a minute’s worth of cooldown/warmup between each. The voice chat feature works great and the players that I’ve played against have been a lot of fun. Look, it’s a very fun game. It’s free. Why would you not try it? If you hate it, you can yell at me for wasting your time and I’m a delicate little snowflake, so it’ll be fun for the whole family.

Star Mine
I’m from the old school. I love games like the first versions of doom, quake in the old versions and this game I loved for bringing that style of game I like and mixing 3D space combat elements in the dungeons. I keep looking and collecting resources and managing energy and this is a lot of fun because it gets harder and brings more challenges as I progress through the game.
I recommend this game. Enjoy !

Woo eeh! That hydra mini game is hard but in the way that makes you wanna keep going until you’ve smashed your monitor.
If you’re in for a challenge the single will give it to you in spades, with a thumping techno soundtrack to get you pumped for each attempt.
Versus mode is a fast and wild, reflecting a shot into your opponents face and having them try to block only to realise it’s an unblockable bullet and gasp in horror as their little alien explodes into dust, is something to experience.
Great game, would buy again! (y)

Salvage Op
This is a free roam shooter game. On easy it is pretty easy. Right now there is grid based teleporting as that seems to fit the bill but I am sure the dev will add ice skating at some point. I have not played the hard setting yet but I doubt that is going to change how I view the game. It is a FPS where you have to clear the levels of all the monsters to “win” and I think there is a wave shooting mode too. The graphics are good but the game is dark and all you have is a helmet spot light to see and that is controlled by your HMD. Right now the gun feels a bit uncomfortable for me to hold in its present position. I am hoping adjustments will be added later in options. Grenades you just lob and BOOM !!! Simple as that just don’t drop them close or you will die. With the look of the levels and feel of the game this should be revamped to be made into something that has a full campaign and interesting objectives. There should be more to this than just clearing the monsters out. Nothing on the station is interactive except the health and grenades. There are barrels to blow up but trying to get the spiders and monsters near them is quite a challenge since they essentially attack you and not the barrels. This game does not wow me in its present state but it is not terrible either. If it is on sale like it is now then probably grab it and see where the developer goes with it. If you do scream with me to make a campaign as most people that play it will probably agree. It has the right atmosphere and level design for a full game campaign in VR with lots more to do other than mindless killing. FPS shooter lovers and hardcore killers will love this game. Easy mode is great for casual players as it is easy as I said. I am repeating myself…..so go out and buy this now during the weekly sale.

At first glance Salvage Op looked like it would be a nice, atmospheric, dungeon crawler style shooter. While it definitely aimed for that, it fell flat on execution.
I thought the level design and the atmosphere the game was going for was done well. The music and lighting definitely gave the game a creepy vibe. It just couldn’t carry the game mechanics and enemies.
Essentially you get to play a deadly game of hide and seek with the enemies. They hide, you seek. The problem here is that your weapons just don’t feel good. From the wrist breaking angle of the weapons to how they shoot and the lack of any ability to reload… They just aren’t satisfying to shoot.

Street Hero
it’s good, legit i bought it because i thought the developer put a bunch of time into the game to make it look good, but then when i bought it, it was great and when i beat the game 100% (just now) i wanted a second one but there isn’t so i was kinda disappointing, but if they ever make a second one i’d get it happily which i want them to do.

Hey there! If you enjoy short and sweet reviews, follow my curator page here! I am an independent Curator providing reviews and insights to the games that need the spotlight! Thank you! :)
I got the chance to play Street Hero back when it was introduced as a demo for the Steam Game Festival and I thought it showed tremendous promise. Especially if you consider that this is the first game released by DD Games , a Game Studio from Vietnam managed by one authentic Hero! A one man band!

Solar Struggle
Solar Struggle is one of those indie-games that tries to inject some fresh ideas into the space shooter genre, but ended up as WTH were they thinking?
Solar Struggle, or just SS from here on, is a 2D space shooter with a high-and-behind-chase view. Yes, you heard that right… It looks 3D, but the game’s actually 2D only. There is no “up/down”, only left and right. You can turn, and you can “side strafe” (i.e. fly forward and sideways).
What’s more, the enemies move way too much for the weapons that you do have. You’re almost always outnumbered and will score 10-30 kills per mission, but the enemies are twitchy and you’ll need to hit them dozens of times to kill them. So you basically end up in the spray-and-pray mode as the “weak” guns you have is unlimited ammo and needs no cooldown. The big guns you have have limited shots, so you save those on really slow targets.

YES-Kid-Friendly:
The themes are light but you are still killing people in those spaceships, so there’s that.
Good/Bad:
Fly in, shoot, turn away, circle back. Hundreds of them forever, no change. The real struggle is trying to find the fun within this game. It was fun for a while when I dabbled with the skirmish mode. After some time, it finally felt monotonous, tedious, and ultimately dull.
My Last Thoughts:
REMOVED. Incredipede is 1/10 the file size but 9/10 more fun.
