Overview: not bad graphics, but poor design and gameplay will put you off almost instantly.

Bought on sale. Also bought their other game, which was a mess. You see the stuff in the trailer? That happens sometimes. See the reloading? There’s no reason to move your hand like that, it just reloads like a pump shotgun. You get 11 rounds and there are no other apparent weapons, but some upgrades, and two missiles which I never found ammo for anyway. All the enemies are the same except some have a shield and some have an axe. There seem to be some hazards as well, but they are trivial. The armswinging is done poorly and there is no option to change the direction of movement (I would rather move where I’m looking that in a controller direction, since I can’t shoot backwards).

Aliens&Asteroids
Chaotic, and most importantly : fun ! Works great, lots of power-ups, worth your time and money if you like space shooters that are going insane and throw ten thousands of enemies at you at the end because you won’t die :3

Pros:
-
It’s fun.
-
Your ship has 3 unlimited uses active abilities.
-
Many powerups (most of them unlockables).
Cons:
-
Too grindy to get gems to unlock powerups.
-
Difficult to aim correctly.
-
Only 1 ship you can use.
I liked it even when I also played (and beat) Bit Blaster XL (Aliens & Asteroids has more content).
I give it a 7.5/10.

Fun low poly fast paced shooter. It is not cup of tea for everyone but retro gamers like myself who have no problems with low poly graphics are bound to be hooked. My rating 7 out of 10. Recommended.

Space Station Sprint
Aside from the sliding that need to be adjusted in my opinion for more control for cancelling animation and turning while sliding (unless I am missing something) the game is lots of fun. The timer is always on your back so you need to make the best out of it using your utility, drops and shooting skills.
Let’s Play gameplay:

It also promote good replay value for obtaining collectibles and most importantly, permanent upgrades. This motivated me to go in again and again to make sure I get those as they are required if you want to survive higher difficulty levels as you progress.

I really like the aesthetic of this game!
But the gameplay mechanics, not so much.
The whole premise of the game is that you have to complete every level in a very tight time limit.
On the other hand, the game demands that you check carefully every every nook and cranny to find the hidden objectives and upgrades. And then to fumble with the use key to grab them. The enemies have too many healthpoints in a game where every seconds count. Running past them may seem the better option, except when you find them later all clustered in a door frame on your way back. Grenade and shockwave abilities feel like nothing, both in term of how little damage is dealt and how hardly visible they are. Then there’s the saber dwarf taking away half your hp on touch, without even having to play any hitting animation, making it quite undodgeable. Turrets everywhere, and even moving laser obstacle courses.

Microgravity
Consider VVVVVV instead.
Microgravity attempts to copy and simplify the magic of VVVVVV. It fails. Holding up or down for too long causes you change gravity twice, screwing up whatever play you were attempting and effectively ruining what might have otherwise been a perfectly mediocre game. I can’t find any way to exit the game besides force-quitting, nor is there a volume control. Unless an update improves the mechanics, hard pass on this one.

Tank Nova
This review is for early access first release, I will update it as the game evolves. I recommend this game to people who like to play early access games.
The idea of the game is to find alien life forms and go kill them with your tank. They’re easy enough to find, with bright red indicators and you shoot at them with your souped up tank and try to survive the onslaught. Navigation works fine and the tank is fun to drive. Where the big problem comes in is that all the shooting appears to be done automatically, my mouse presses don’t appear to have any effect. This made me think that it must be about driving away from them while the tank autofires, so I worked to steer clear of their pinchers and mandibles. What I figured out is that I don’t actually have to do anything at all and the tank will win the game. I just drive into the alien area and let them attack. The guns and missiles just kill the bug while the tank hovers around 50% damage.

Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000
Before Halo, Call of Duty, and other new-school shooters that currently saturate the FPS market, there was the old school. I’m talking about games that kept the same spirit as Wolfenstein 3D, like the Doom series, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, the Quake series, and Unreal. If you lived through this time, you know what I’m talking about. These games are representative of a peak in shooters in that their challenge, length, and fun depended on gameplay alone—no cutscenes that pad the game time, no predictable plot elements, and no exploitative glitches that most new school gamers use in games today. Controls were fluid and customizable, combat was fast and furious, and the games were almost exclusively for PC. It took skill to play and if you were killed, you had only yourself to blame. This was when multiplayer was on the rise, before mods and cheating took hold to as great an extent as it does now, and before cheap tactics like quick-scoping were often the deciding factor in encounters.

This epic game is, in my opinion, the best game in the Alien and Predator series by a huge margin.
Its single player storyline is nealy non-existent, but the levels are large and fun to play through, especially compared to modern hand holding “corridor shooters”. Once the single player is completed, each species can unlock five bonus missions that enrich the single player experience by allowing that species to play on a level associated with one of the other two.
On top of that, most of the single player missions (and bonus levels) have “side missions” that unlock single player cheat modes upon completion. These cheat modes allow you to alter your single player experience in various ways, such as setting your enemies on fire, turning the level upside down exc'.

Nelo
So overall this game have very great potenial, but still has a few bugs that need to worked out. Like when I faced the first boss( which took me like 100 tried to beat on hero diff) I got it to one of its health stops when it goes invisible, and it was stuck in invulnerable state until I died which sucked because I was close to beating it. 2nd: There could be some kind of combo list. I noticed that there were times when my melees would turn red then purple ( I came to understand that purple stuns thing) but I had no clue how I performed said combo. 3rd: I feel there should be an option to what weapons I pick up. Sometimes I like using 4 rocket launchers or 4 assault rifles. 4th: Materials should be a bit easier to understand how to get them, I think I ran around the 1st open area for about an hour trying to figure out where to get the Mats to make a fusion key or scanner. 5th: I find it almost impossible to dodge enemies that spawn right above you and they use an attack and next thing you know you have to restart your combo (this happens even though I am constantly on the move). Above all I love the difficulty of the game, the back story could use some work but over all enjoyable. I really look foward to seeing the full release of this game. It has my support. When I showed some of my friends at work they were mind blown in a sense. But I dont like how people compare it to warframe. I see the simiularities but I think they are on 2 totally different levels.

Backed on Kickstarter
This game was tailored for people that 1. do not have epilepsy. 2. can handle sensory overload: the bullet hell junkies, the DMC and Nier: Automata fans, the Touhou addicts.
-
The screen will fill with enemies, your decisions within seconds will either result in the next wave of enemies or result in your death.
-
You must be mobile; yes, Nelo is fast, but the Nightsithe are just as fast.
-
Your enemies will reflect your damage back at you, dodge your attacks, teleport away or towards you, and even bullrush you.
