Chicken Defender
Fun and short game. The game consists only of a couple levels which vary in difficulty. For the price just perfect, pretty polished tbh.
I would say there was a lack of weapons, a couple more would be fun. Also, the goal for the last level was 100, I got 26,000, that can probably be tweaked. But overall fun time, thanks developers.

A $A1.50 well spent. Good graphics and sound.
Thought this Tower Defense title could be a walk in the park - after getting my bottom spanked my first 4 tries, I am happy to amend that thought. I particularly like the fact that the game advises you, and shuts the level down when you are not going to be able to meet the level requirements. I can see that I am really going to have to think the levels right through.
A terrific value for money title.

Floating Farmer - Logic Puzzle
Cute, relaxing, not too hard. It took me a little under 5 hours to finish the 50 puzzles.
Young players might enjoy this, though they may need help learning how to move a tile where they want it to go. It’s a bit like Rubik’s Cube but nowhere as difficult!

I liked it, it’s a way of living in a farm environment, in addition to these cute animals, the puzzle sometimes gets a little complicated, but I’m getting used to the game and so it gives pleasure to complete the challenge.

A wonderful relaxing puzzle game for the whole family!
It features three sizes of randomly-generated puzzles.
Your task is to fix the pipes so you can water the crops of your choice.
Then harvest and sell them so you can purchase items to upgrade your farm.
The random-generation will provide you with near infinite replay.
But you may come across an occasional puzzle with an extra pipe.

i normally wouldn’t write a review if i have no strong feelings on a game, but i’ll make an exception this time. this game is visually appealing and not too difficult overall but there are a few levels that feel almost impossible (and i’ll admit i had to look at a guide for one of them). it was a little clunky and didn’t run super well on my pc despite it definitely meeting the minimum running requirements. the lack of a “reset puzzle” button was also downsides for me.
i went into this game hoping to love it but i just don’t think my brain was built for it, which sucks, but that’s definitely a “me” thing. just because i personally didn’t have a super relaxing and fun time with it doesn’t mean that i don’t get why others do! it really is cute and watching your farm grow in the background as you progress is nice. i feel neutral about it but honestly if you like puzzles and have some free time to kill this will probably be worth it to you.

The Signal State
Great little Zach-like. If you like this genre of fiddly little programming games, you’ll like this. If you’re not interested in the genre, you won’t.
Pros of this particular game:
+Charming analog aesthetics. The game’s UI feels very “physical” and low-tech in a neat way.
+Minimalist but reasonably interesting story. I’m all about workers seizing the means of production.
+Good soundtrack. Really helps you get into that zen programming mode.
+More accessible than most games in this genre, as difficulty curve is lower. This might be a con for you, if you’re super good at this genre and really want a challenge, but I think difficulty curve is in that sweet spot challenging without feeling like you now have a second job learning an imaginary programming language.

This game falls short on so many aspects and makes so many dubious design decisions that makes me wonder whether the devs actually know what they’re doing:
- UI/UX:
The main UI, a physical rack representing modules, is just bad, period. Now before you yell blindly, “but node-based programming is the future!”, please note that the game does not feature node-based programming: actual node-based programming would be like Scratch, LabVIEW or Blender nodes. This game’s UI represents specifically DAW skeuomorphism, notably Propellerhead’s Reason. It is also a design decision from the last century, done by nobody else, and being commonly criticized around all the time. Also, DAWs don’t have a million tiny modules like this game.

Island Farmer - Jigsaw Puzzle
Update: 4 achievements were added. More might be coming soon. Yaih? xD
Very relaxing and cute puzzle/memory game with 20 levels. My only gripe is that the game has (and tells you it is finished once you reach this point) 20 levels but there are 24 achievements. The additional 4 are for levels 21-24. As of today 0% of players have gotten these… which means it’s not me. It’s you game, not me, YOU. I am the wronged party here so apologize game! Now tell me that I’m pretty. :3

Lab Craft Survival
This is a difficult survival sandbox game that doesn’t hold your hand. If you like figuring things out yourself and discovering hidden game mechanics, you’ll enjoy this game. If you don’t have a high tolerance for failing though, you might find the game frustrating.
It’s definitely rough around the edges with several bugs and translation errors, and updates have been non-existent. If you’re looking for polish in a game, you won’t find it here, although overall I found it enjoyable.
