Time’s Up in Tiny Town

Time’s Up in Tiny Town

Time’s Up in Tiny Town is a fast-paced simulation game, in which you will build a town for a pocket-sized world.

As mayor and founder of Tiny Town, construct buildings, collect food and house as many townsfolk as possible. You will score points on how large your population grows but also on how sustainable your town is at the end of your mandate.

In Tiny Town, the more you build, the more land you acquire. And the faster your population grows, the more time you are afforded.

But be sure to balance-out your production, your population’s needs and your world’s natural resources. Because if your environment collapses, so may your townsfolk know deprivation and famine!

i normally wouldn’t write a review if i have no strong feelings on a game, but i’ll make an exception this time. this game is visually appealing and not too difficult overall but there are a few levels that feel almost impossible (and i’ll admit i had to look at a guide for one of them). it was a little clunky and didn’t run super well on my pc despite it definitely meeting the minimum running requirements. the lack of a “reset puzzle” button was also downsides for me.

i went into this game hoping to love it but i just don’t think my brain was built for it, which sucks, but that’s definitely a “me” thing. just because i personally didn’t have a super relaxing and fun time with it doesn’t mean that i don’t get why others do! it really is cute and watching your farm grow in the background as you progress is nice. i feel neutral about it but honestly if you like puzzles and have some free time to kill this will probably be worth it to you.

A wonderful relaxing puzzle game for the whole family!

It features three sizes of randomly-generated puzzles.

Your task is to fix the pipes so you can water the crops of your choice.

Then harvest and sell them so you can purchase items to upgrade your farm.

The random-generation will provide you with near infinite replay.

But you may come across an occasional puzzle with an extra pipe.

I love this game. It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s relaxing, it’s a great idea. I want more games like this.

It is a very fun game, I recommend it if you like Mendel and his study of pea’s…just without peas.

Hogvalord

Very cute game. Nice graphics and music.

The game looks easy to play, but the mission is more challenging for me, especially killing evil flowers.

The idea of a flying pig is fun and I like it.

The controls area little laggy, but once the dev has that down to pat, i reckon it will be a fairly good game. For the price i would recommend it. It slants towards using a controller, so bear that in mind. But cute art style, good concept, look forward to seeing how it progresses

Blub Emporium

Blub Emporium

This game is truly unique, colourful, and bubbly (or I guess you could say blubbly ;))

While playing through this game, the first thing I noticed was the vibe it gave when I was watching the emporium sell, the blubs buying items or sitting down, maybe even playing on an arcade; It is really something else, especially with the soundtrack adding to it; It sounds relaxing and ambient, yet it sounds like there’s a powerful meaning behind every song.

I also find that the factory is super fun! It’s puzzles are very challenging, but very possible; Meaning it has a very nice balance! The Farm has a lot more depth than most would initially expect with how you can harvest items and whatnot, you can even automate some parts of it! :O

I’ve played a few hours and it’s very fun :)

Really cute aesthetic which is a blast to decorate, a relaxing farm which is super therapeutic, and (my favourite) a really interesting factory which plays just like a puzzle game! (with a ton of potential to improve at, optimise, and experiment with).

This game is a perfect example of being worth more than the sum of it’s parts, and there’s something in it for everyone - it’s not the sort of game I would normally play, but so far I’ve had a blast, and look forward to playing more (THERE IS SO MUCH CONTENT O.O)

Two Leaves and a bud - Tea Garden Simulator

Two Leaves and a bud - Tea Garden Simulator

UPDATED April, 26

Changed to recommend since Devs are communicative and very responsive, they are fixing all the bugs and issues, adding also more content!

I was already liking the game concept and now I am truly enjoying it and even if probably I will encounter some more bugs, I’m sure they’re gonna be fixed and any issue solved.

The game is addictive and now, with the last update, the developing is really going in the right direction.

Keep up the great work making this game a true little gem!

Fun game. Don’t expect much from it, it’s unfinished. But still worth playing.

I will note the following features:

+Interesting concept and idea

+Good visual component

+Easy to understand and start to play

But unfortunately this game has:

-some problems with UI

City Of Jade: Imperial Frontier

City Of Jade: Imperial Frontier

Not recommended.

I’ve played the game several times with varying strategies and each time failed to figure out a way to build a sustainable city. So after 18 hours of game play, and discussing with other friends who have played, I believe that the balance of the game is broken. I’ve tried to contact the devs but they’ve not responded.

Floating Farmer - Logic Puzzle

Floating Farmer - Logic Puzzle

Cute, relaxing, not too hard. It took me a little under 5 hours to finish the 50 puzzles.

Young players might enjoy this, though they may need help learning how to move a tile where they want it to go. It’s a bit like Rubik’s Cube but nowhere as difficult!

Real player with 5.6 hrs in game

I liked it, it’s a way of living in a farm environment, in addition to these cute animals, the puzzle sometimes gets a little complicated, but I’m getting used to the game and so it gives pleasure to complete the challenge.

Forestation: Circles Of Nature

Forestation: Circles Of Nature

basically this is just like the first forestation game but with slight changes. however these slight changes are enough to somehow make it noticeable less enjoyable and less fun to play.

the first game was made with more attention to detail while the second game tries to stay interesting with a larger number of levels. sadly this doesn’t work out at all. solving the puzzles feels more like a job than something you do for fun.

also transitions between levels very often take longer than solving the level itself.

I got this game to play with my daughter. I really wanted to like it. But I have to be honest, it is pretty boring even for a four-year old. Basically you have 365 versions of the same puzzle with different “seasonal” graphics.

Pros:

Cute and relaxing, until you get bored.

Good concept, it could have been a decent Zen Relaxation game with a little more work.

Cons:

Limited UI, you can’t even rotate the camera.

Nothing to interact with outside of the game tiles.. no animals to discover or cute animations to make it interesting.
