Although this title does not support English, its playable to an extent thanks to its general city building concepts. Has promise, looking forward to if the dev adds support for English.

Farm Together

I loved this game SO much. I often left it running idle (hence my 3000 hours logged, yikes) so that I could check in to find crops already grown, eggs already laid by chickens, etc. I played alone, I played with my boyfriend, I played with strangers. Its screenshots became my laptop backgrounds and my calendar pages. Its music became the soundtrack of my life for a year. This game was wonderful. Thank you devs! :)

Simply it’s A Pay to Win Game.

Real player with 242.5 hrs in game

Dont bother! Its a pay to win. Everything useful costs good money to buy or get this to even use. At level ten they take away tons of things that make this game cool then you have to buy a “premium” account. You have hundreds of plots and animals to feed one at a time after that more then one per animal too. The in game player market dont move at all and you pay to put something up for someone else to buy only for seconds later someone else putting a stack of 50,000 one cent cheaper then you and bam you now wasted your money(which isnt easy to come by). I have been playing for a month now and have a thousands bucks to spare right now. The only income other then the players market is customers which you get a few a WHOLE day. You can pay to get more like 1000 in game money to get a huge 2 more a day which is only gonna get you to about 200 per customer. Also with real money you have a few more options for more customers. This game has balance issues. It also has things you are to get for reaching a higher level well it says you get but never do. I see some of these later game things costs thousands and thousands of crops. Just think about the endless single harvest and watering clicking. The in game help could use some help too. There is things in the game it dont explain and trying to get a answer on the forums or discord is met with spams of “I need friends”. Yes friends which I cant see for what purpose in this browser game.

Farm Manager 2021

Farm Manager 2021

Ok, I’ve only played the launch version for 3 hours so far, so this is a very early post. However, I sunk a ton of time into the demo and prologue, so I think I’ve already got a decent take on how the game plays.

Firstly, I disagree that it’s the same as the 2018 version. The 2018 version required a player to micro-manage every aspect of the game, as almost nothing happened automatically. In the 2021 version most of the tasks happen seamlessly, with workers having a decent degree of intelligence as to the next task required. This is a huge improvement, as the 2018 version’s micro-management made it almost unplayable if you owned a very large farm. For example, I built a greenhouse, housed plenty of workers nearby with “plant” skills, set the production to strawberries, and then sat back and waited. From that moment, every task was fully automated and eventually the strawberries arrived in my warehouse, ready to sell. It’s the same with fields. Make a field, set up the crop required, buy all the necessary equipment, employ and house the correct workers nearby, then sit back and wait for the crop to be harvested and ready for sale. There is even a menu to auto-sell and auto-buy, for those that don’t wish to track the market prices for min/maxing best prices as they fluctuate.

I didn’t play 2018, so maybe that makes me like it more. It’s a good game, I finally finished the scenario after ~28 hours. Definitely worth the purchase price.

I did have a few times certain things got “stuck”. A tractor sitting in the middle of things not doing anything, two greenhouses who’s workers vanished in the middle of the harvest leaving me unable to do anything with the greenhouses, two animal pens not getting fed for reasons that mystify me. Saving, quitting and reload always resolved them though.

I didn’t quite expect to be re-reviewing this game, but I am glad I am able to give this game a positive review. After about a year of near radio silence from the devs, they updated the game, keeping the main gameplay loop of the old version, but adding quite a few new features and overall just made the game a much more enjoyable experience. If you had this game a year ago and are wondering if you should return to it, I’d definitely say yes. For anyone who never played the original version, but is looking for a short and sweet (roughly 20 hour) experience that combines both idle and base building gameplay, I’d say give it a go. The devs seem like they now intend on routinely updating the game, and as of this review that have been following through with their promise. One last thing before I end this review, if you do end up getting the game, you get to experience pretty much everything you can do in the game before you pass the two hour refund mark, so if you don’t enjoy it in the first two hours, you can know you probably won’t enjoy it and vis versa. I left my original review below if you’re interested on why I originally rated the game negatively.

Fairly small and uncomplicated idle game.

Progress can be sped up by manually clicking, but it functions quite well on its own for quite a long time before more upgrades are needed to make more progress.

My one big problem with the game (at the time of release; this is an early access) is that there isn’t enough information behind some of the upgrades. Some upgrades will state a percentage, but not telling me if the bonus is additive or multiplicative with other upgrades on the same building. Speed increase upgrades are equally secret. No information on whether it reduces time by percentage or seconds. This makes it difficult to discern which upgrades are worth going for.

My Little Farmies

My Little Farmies

Overall the game is very enjoyable and can keep you very busy tending to your farm, harvesting/growing crops, upgrading buildings and producing items in the various production buildings.

Once you get to level 25-30 be warned that you will be forced to spend 200 gold bars to further expand your farm to make room for more buildings, pens ect, and i can only imagine that you will have to spend 300-400 for the next and so on, so make sure you buy as many expansions using your Thalers as you can before you get stuck at this point.

I have only played for a little while, but am enjoying this game a lot. The graphics are nicely done, and the tutorial is very helpful. As I mentioned in a comment I made in one of the negative reviews, this is not a game for impatient players. You will have to wait for things to grow and to be build. I have played quite a few F2P games, and never used real money to get quicker through the game. I only ever bought starter kits and special items that you can’t find in the game otherwise.

The one thing I don’t care for in this game is that the developers, who are German, set the dates the American way, giving first the month and then the day. Very confusing for me. In Germany - as in other European countries - the date is displayed as giving first the day and then the month.

You get what you pay for BUT its not a bad start to a game. All the mechanics work as intended which is rare for a game so early in development. If the developer continues to update I believe more people will find this game.
