Demonpact: Clarice

Demonpact: Clarice

After having allegedly consumed most of the content in the game, I’ve decided to write the review this game deserves.

I will start with my initial impression and its evolution;

I was very unfamiliar with Goiaba’s business as a whole previously, only knowing them through a friend of a friend kind of deal, and while I can appreciate the art, the trailer and screenshots of the game don’t do it justice.

Even in the first few minutes of the game, the situation presented makes me think I’m getting into some early 2000s highschool furry webcomic situation based on the first 3 characters presented and how they talk.

A very well made furry RPGmaker brazillian game. I’m pretty amazed it was free, taking into account how much content there is to explore. No grind too which is always nice. There’s a lot of secrets and easter eggs to dig, I have spent like fourteen hours and didn’t find everything yet!

The game does carries some heavy serious stuff plus some edgy and saucy jokes, but do check it out if that doesn’t bother you. For me it was an enjoyable experience.

A game inspired by the jrpg of the nineties of turn battles, however it has something new like choices and freedom but like everything of the nineties do not think that you will find things easy.

interact and explore the game this is the biggest premise in this game of ten finals because even the main missions are not shown only commented by the npcs and the choices be careful what you choose after all.

you can end up as a slave or as the queen of your country this game is all interactable from buying a store to having an extra income to counting the truth to an old friend of your father will all give some kind of consequence whether it is good or bad I hope you like this experience different from other modern games

Freebooter of SPLORR!!

Freebooter of SPLORR!!

I flung turds at a werewolf, bribed some bats, dropped my trousers and defeated a dragon. All this while drinking beer, wine and coffee to keep me going! Was an interesting, random pickup ex’splorring' this game. Trying to win on hard mode now and not poop myself… again.

Definitely recommended for some lighthearted quirky fun!

Freebooter of SPLORR!! is a fun call back to dungeon crawlers of old. Mixed with some great humour and unique encounters, this is definitely worth it. The music and sound effects are on point, giving you an immersive experience.

The randomness of the dungeons ensures plenty of mixed gameplay, and plenty of achievements to work your way towards! Great game if you love the dungeon crawler style games! Highly recommend!

This work explores the current achievement culture in a humorous way. Design a variety of game modes, including role-playing, horizontal scrolling, plane shooting, etc., use different game modes to distinguish the characteristics of each game platform, and can freely choose the order of play, each branch choice has its own ending, and some The ending can even make the second round have a different game experience, and during the game, experience various platform achievement systems, and then understand the unique charm of the achievement system.

I loved the visuals, for a puzzle game, there sure was a lot! (over 30 levels!)

I’m not proud to say that I was stuck in the flower one, though. That one was pretty difficult to understand.

Alright. Im going to start this off by saying i dont do reviews. Never have, but i may start more with these indie titles. Im going to run thru everything that ive seen good, bad, and needs work, in hopes that the dev may see this and take some notes.

First and foremost. This is a FREE GAME. The dev has NO obligation to do anything else with it if they so choose. The game is NOT listed as an early access game, which means everyone should take it as a completed project. So, anyone who sees this game should go into it with absolutely no expectation or bar. You will be disappointed otherwise. Ive only put a little under 3 hours into the game because unfortunately that is ALL there is to offer at the moment. So lets get into the good, bad and ugly of the game.

100-Level Dungeon

100-Level Dungeon

I can’t remember what floor I’m on(it is either in late 70’s or early 80’s of floor level due to the battle room being completely pink color), and after I win the Crimson Paladin battle, the rock doesn’t disappear from the exit of that room, causing you to be stuck in the room with no way out. I can’t find a way to get in touch with the developer of the game to inform him of this, and hope he will see this review of mine about his game and will respond back very soon. No other floor did I encounter this incident on. I was going to recommend this game after I beat the game, but I won’t be able to beat the game until there is an update that causes this issue to get resolved. Until such time, I will have to skip playing the game since there’s no way around the rock/boulder blocking the exit that I can see.

After my first play-through ending in just under 17 hours with 18 hours total for the game one word to describe it. WOW!

Story:

The story seemed very sudden at first but it was expected since you are collecting yourself finding your friends steadily. Learning their style and what they should be used for as you get some time to learn each character. The diversity in the characters is your standard, healer, mage, tank, dps, and general purpose-ish. I expected more colorful dialogue from such colorful characters. After boss fights a few times I would go to the hub and see for any dialogue but was met with the exact same script each time. Some more development to care for them would be nice. A certain character that essentially swaps sides the tiny bit of dialogue we get with them was just enough for me to like the but it was too late. However the characters feelings for that double agent matched mine and i give them credit for that.

I love the FF vibes but this game definitely has its own identity. Love the Feel for each character, story and combat wise. Battles do require you to think and some cannot be rushed, especially the Boss Fights which is a plus. Overall this game does feed you Nostalgia craving with Fresh ideas!! Not a bad game and definitely Recommened

Empire of Angels IV

Empire of Angels IV

50 hours.. and game complete. Still got a few grinding to do to unlock all achievement but it’s still a pretty good ride!

I have played angel empire 2 and 3 from like 20 years ago and this really brings back memories.

Personaly I like 2 4 3 in that order but all 3 is still really good games maybe i wil go back and find 1 in some old website in the future to play it. Storywise 4 happens from 1000 years after story of 2 or 3.

Cubbie graphics of Tactical turn base combat. Not as many class as previous games but still need to keep switching class interesting. Personally this one feels quite a bit shorter in the plot with some extra annoy grinding that you will have to do.

Real player with 65.4 hrs in game

So Empire of Angels IV is a game about a bunch of grills on a quest to collect the four Lord Souls Whoops did it again. You collect the four Menhir (or attempt to anyway, spoiler) and you have zany adventures along the way. The plotline makes little sense, even when it’s explained to you and I can’t figure out how the characters wind up in the situation that they’re in. I feel like several situations were disastrously contrived. It’s almost like the developers had a checklist of things they wanted to shovel in. Here’s your rival, here’s your betrayal, here’s your feels trip, the list goes on. And as noted before, they don’t connect well. On top of that, it was hard for me to invest myself in the characters and I think that may be because of presentation. There wasn’t really much of an underlying story to connect me to them.
