War of the Human Tanks - Limited Operations
Warning: 1000+ word review from a guy that’s way too passionate about a trilogy that features chibi girls that shoot at each other and explode. Please read if you have spare time.
The first two War of the Human Tanks games are among my favorite PC-exclusive games I have played so far. So, I bought the third game on the same year it was released and… it wasn’t my cup of tea. What made the Human Tank games so special to me is the ability to break the game with overpowered tanks and pit those tanks against other overpowered extra stage enemies in a game of dark chess. This game takes that away and makes you play fair and square with the opponent in a normal strategy game.

I’m going to write a lot of words about anime tanks because I really like this series and I don’t think anyone else knows it exists. The last game in the series, Limited Operations, has been out for around 9 months and has about a dozen reviews. Here’s a really long one and consider this a review for the series in general.
The War of the Human Tanks series is essentially anime Battleship. Fights are real time and pause when you click a unit to choose an action. There’s always a large fog of war and most units are of the one hit, one kill variety. Tanks are of the mass-produced style, outside of a couple of special NPC’s, and are permanently destroyed when killed in action. Tanks can also equip modules that you can create which do things like increase shooting range and area, increase movement and so on. Limited Operations changes the last few parts up, though.

Tank Firing
When shooting, you should calibrate the shooting distance and pay attention to the weak points.
In case of armor that cannot be penetrated by armour piercing projectile, high explosive projectile can be tried.
When being hit, you should set a certain angle to improve the equivalent armor.
When encountering the shell which cannot be defended by armor, you can look for shelter.
Try to challenge the single enemy and evacuate when besieged.
Get on your tank and join the fight!

TankBlitz
This game is easy to learn but a little harder to beat in full.
Its fun if a little short replay is only for the achievments or for fast near mindless destruction.
I like it even if it flashes the This Game is Running Slow sign at fullscreen.
The track and engin upgrades give better handeling and speed.

So where to begin…. Hm its a solid top down old school tank game, reminds me back in the day playing on my nintendo…forgot how was it called thou. Has a good concept but I guess it required a bit more polishing or something. Feels like a ported game but not sure about that. And if I take in consideration the fullscreen bug it’s more of a greelight project that was rushed.
The positives:
+old style gameplay, a classic
+an RPG system
+a small amount of replayability
+steam achievements
+steam cards

Sandstorm
I paid $1.29 just so I could confirm that this, in fact, has NOTHING to do with Darude :(
It’s a good bit of fun though…once you figure out that you actually CAN move your tank, you don’t have to just sit there taking pot shots and hoping to get lucky…wait, that sounds like me at the pub on a Thursday night…aw crud :'(

It would be cool if you could play online :|
But based on the fact that it is not available in the game I want to say the following:
This is a representative of a well-developed indie game for a reasonable price.
The game features both single-player and competitive split-screen battles.
This is not a recommendation. It is an informative review that simply describes in brief the essence of the game in case a potential player would like to see a brief analysis of the game.
I am not a full-fledged reviewer or critic, so please take my words without any peer review or vice versa.

The last tank fight
The game has 30 levels.
There are six boss battle levels, and some strange mechanic levels and story levels.
You can choose 3 combinations of 5 active skill parts and 4 passive skill parts to complete the battle before each level. When passive parts reach a certain number, new features will be generated.
Active accessories include stealth, shields, rapid fire, bombs, and mines.
Passive components include increased health cap, increased damage, increased movement speed, and decreased active skill cooldown.
Tank it!
Tank it! is made to communicate a clear message:
#WarKills
Tank it! is a realistic and bloody war simulation game designed to show how brutal and dangerous war really is… that it is no good… that countless civilians are killed as collateral damage.
In Tank it! you command a drone to remotely control a heavy tank. You receive the mission to travel to remote villages, find and destroy the target military camps and eliminate all terrorists. But as in real life, there are many civilians in the villages, as well. The terrorists and civilians alike are at the player’s mercy. It is up to the player alone to decide how to handle this mission.
Bernd Geiblinger: “I for one do not enjoy playing brutal, bloody games, so for me it is painful to create death animations and blood. I did everything else before I did this kind of work - but I am doing it for the message. This is also why Tank it! will be available for a very low value - For me it is much more important to spread the message of the game than to earn a great deal of revenue."
Tank Nova
This review is for early access first release, I will update it as the game evolves. I recommend this game to people who like to play early access games.
The idea of the game is to find alien life forms and go kill them with your tank. They’re easy enough to find, with bright red indicators and you shoot at them with your souped up tank and try to survive the onslaught. Navigation works fine and the tank is fun to drive. Where the big problem comes in is that all the shooting appears to be done automatically, my mouse presses don’t appear to have any effect. This made me think that it must be about driving away from them while the tank autofires, so I worked to steer clear of their pinchers and mandibles. What I figured out is that I don’t actually have to do anything at all and the tank will win the game. I just drive into the alien area and let them attack. The guns and missiles just kill the bug while the tank hovers around 50% damage.
