Mr. Hopp’s Playhouse 2
Mr Hopp has returned, or more accurately, arrived and he has brought friends with him.
Like the first game, it’s simple, controls are simple, but the game itself is not as straight forward. There’s more hunting for items involved, secret areas/stages to find, medallions to grab and coins to collect.
Not to mention that not only do you need to avoid Mr Hopp, but we have Mr Stripes and Miss Bo stalking through the orphanage as well.
The medallion stages can be difficult and frustrating at times, but can be completed after a few attempts.

First one was sooo good! Old school stealth platform horror with amazing visual & audio design.
This continue that in some respect, but increases the difficulty level to a ludicrous degree. I suspect some fans complained the first one was too easy for them, and so they had to ruin it for everyone…
At points it’s very hard to figure out what you are supposed to do, and the timing on, for example, special events are, if it is even possible, beyond punishing. You have to react BEFORE you even know what you are reacting to. I think I tried a certain section 25 times before being able to move on, and even then your heart is racing because the save points are so scarce and you don’t know what is coming up.

SONG OF HORROR COMPLETE EDITION
TLDR; Close, but no cigar. Very close, but still.
I finished Song of Horror at the highest available starting difficulty. 98% blind(Will explain later down the line), first play through, none of the characters were lost.
I can’t recommend Song of Horror for a very simple reason, which some can look past and some can’t. I fall under the latter category- The reason is not permanent death, but rather how it is handled; Very, very poorly. It absolutely affected my experience, very negatively. Most of my other issues, I could have looked past if it wasn’t mainly for this.

Pros
1. Variety of Characters, Stats, and Backgrounds = I enjoyed the opportunity of playing different characters with different perspectives of how they see the world. I like how each character had different stats to how they function and how they should adapt against the Presence. I also enjoyed how some of the characters know the layout of a particular area of the game to give the player a potential advantage.
2. Many Detailed Locations = It is refreshing to explore different maps of in the game to keep it interesting. From a haunted mansion, a shop, an abandoned hospital, and more.

This is definitely a “game”, stream it for your friends and meander around aimlessly around an asylum. you can use a shotgun you get halfway through the game to kill the monster for a bit of time, or simply sacrifice one of your friends in the beginning of the game, have them crawl around on the floor and bully the monster into a corner, rendering the threat completely neutralized while you can now peacefully frolic through the fucking directionless labyrinth of a hospital. as someone who plays shit games for a bunch of friends who are shit game sadists, i can say, wasn’t the worst thing i played

Curse: The Eye of Isis
Curse: The Eye of Isis Review - Raymond KT
Though Capcom’s Resident Evil series achieved legendary status by the late 1990s, both it and the survival horror boom that it spawned haven’t been quite as popular in the past couple of years. However, Asylum Entertainment is not following the prevailing trends. The small British developer, best known for a handful of kid-friendly PlayStation games like Powerpuff Girls: Chemical Xtraction and Teletubbies: Play With the Teletubbies, Despite the company’s lack of experience with this sort of game-making, and a few noteworthy miscues, the designers have traced the footsteps of Resident Evil as carefully as a chiropodist. This leaves the end result without even the tiniest smidgen of originality, though it is a convincing memorial to a classic genre. – Gamespot

Road to Hollow Hills
Lost in time, the evidence that archaeology leaves behind brings up humanity’s essential question, “Where do we come from?” From within his jail cell, John Silverdale never considered looking for an answer to this question, but is now thrust into a world where ancient civilizations, hidden places and unknown forces reign supreme.
In this intriguing first chapter, John begins the search for his sister Isobel in the Northern Cascades. While following his sisters trail, he comes to the secluded mountain village of Hollow Hills. His path dead ends when he discovers the road into town has been destroyed. Leaving his motorcycle behind, he follows a forest path toward town that will lead him into a maelstrom of unexplained events.
Road to Hollow Hills is a narrative horror adventure full of exploration, combat and puzzles that leave the outcome entirely up to the player
Thirty Minute Nightmare
Not a horrible little game. Need a little polishing and would be really good game. My biggest issue was I got stuck in the forest after I found a key and could not move any further.

Roughly 15 minutes of mostly just walking around. Not scary at all except for 1 jump scare that admittedly got me. The whole being able to switch between “modern” and 1997 graphics is a weird gimmick that I personally didn’t care for but you may be into if you like your graphics more pixely. Some of the environments and enemies did look better in the 1997 mode. It’s not the worst game for $2 but I can’t recommend it.

Deadly Forest
the game is ok im just wondering why it has a kinda jaws du dum running through it. its free so give it a play. id give this game a ok .

This game needs serious work! The atmosphere is quite ok, but the graphics are dull and uneventful. So is the time you spend playing - you sometimes see an undefined creature watching you, but it doesn’t really pose a thread.
The only thing you can do: run around and collect stuff. And sometimes the stuff you find can’t even be taken. The only deadly thing about this forest is dead by boredom.
If my own horror-novel becomes this boring, please shoot me…

Dread X Collection
I enjoy this “buffet” style of video games where you have a large platter of small things to partake in. Of course, not everything you get in a buffet is tasty, and that is the same case with Dread X Collection. We are presented with 10 small indie horror games made in a short period of time, and I’ve had the pleasure of beating every one of them. So, let’s go over each one, starting clockwise, and see what’s good and not so good.
Oddbreeze Games - The Pay is Nice : It’s unfortunate this was my first experience into Dread X, because it’s rather bad. It’s a 3D game with tank controls, and bucket loads of Dutch-angles, which makes it even harder to navigate. You play as a scientist who is slowly going insane, and for your hard work solving a rather complex and vague puzzle, you get a mediocre ending.

Not Half Bad
An acceptable collection of games ranging from trash (Rotgut) to good (Summer Night). I will say that most of the games are not particularly thrilling, but they are plentiful, short, and for the most part, unique. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend you play the rest of the Dread X Collection Games. They’re better than this one.
