The Moon Relax

The Moon Relax

The scenery is beautiful.

The music is pretty OK.

The gameplay is really where this game kind of comes apart.

Driving the rover isn’t fun as the camera angles are pretty much locked. Rocks, big and small, will get in your way while you are driving and bring your expedition to a grinding halt. Even when you aren’t being stopped by rocks, the driving is just boring. There is very little to see and do on the moon.

Crafting is a nightmare of half explained tutorials and different crafting benches. I think I made one oxygen tank.

Despite what my dear friend “English Teacher Plays” has to say about this game, there are many incorrect points he has brought up, and I wish to disprove them.

Firstly, English Teacher Plays claims that the game does not function, however, I just recently played the game just fine, and I even landed on the moon (take that, English Teacher Plays).

Secondly, I wish to address his wild claim that the loading screen flashes wildly. To that I say, how can the loading screen flash wildly, if there is no loading screen?

AGOS - A Game Of Space

AGOS - A Game Of Space

I have played the first four or five missions so far. My takeaway is the following: This game is everything I wanted it to be (on the stretch I have played). I am happy I bought it.

Controls/ UI:

This game is a sitting experience, preferably not in front of a desk. I play with an Index and it works perfectly out of the box. I did not have to make any adjustments. Flying the probe is pretty intuitive after a little practice (took me two missions). You manage thrust/ movement using a globe on the left and the orientation of the probe using a globe on the right by grabbing and dragging them. Probe orientation becomes important in the second mission for light and after that for your main engine. After that point it starts to feel even more like actual spaceflight, for example you actually have to perform flip and burn maneuvers to get to stop again. To sum it up, actually flying this probe is really fun. Navigating your world ship is also fun. You can actually perform swing by maneuvers around planets, although I don’t know if that is actually helpful. Either way, powering your ship up to for interplanetary travel is REALLY satisfying.

I cannot recommend this game enough. But it really needs to be the kind of game you’re looking for. I’ll also start by saying the first few missions are really slow because it wants to make sure you can use the controls well before it throws you into a “QUICK GET THIS THING BEFORE ASTEROIDS DESTROY US ALL!” mission.

It’s core loop is to fly around small sections of space, picking up material, harvesting/drilling for materials, finding old logs for new tech for your mothership, usually in a certain time frame because some bad space thing is going to destroy your mothership.

Planet Miner

Planet Miner

This Is A Neat Little Game That Has Lots Of Potential. The Gameplay Is Well Made And Very Fun although The Rover is A Bit slow. For The First Version Ever Compiled it has a lot of stuff in it, No Dev Textures or anything like that. Stuff That I Want to be put in the game is Currency instead of straight minerals. I Feel like if you add like a sell Building so you would sell your minerals for cash. You Should Also add different minerals like some minerals sell for more than others. Wins my Steam awards vote.

This is a lovely little set of models and mechanics. I really enjoyed the soft progressions albeit repetitive it was in fact soothing and calming. I see wonderous things to this for to me it has my approval and a good sturdy foundation to build on. For me i’d suggest some more world building (like extra biomes) some crafting mechanics (different ores and minerals) and perhaps even some combat or survival aspect?

Regardless you have my attention with this wee widdle game you have here and I will be monitoring and hoping and wishing you (The Dev Team) all the best keep up the good work. Whatever you all will do with it I’ll look forward to seeing with my eyes.

It’s a very chill walking (or rolling) sim across some fun space landscapes. If you’re into mellow games and space exploration i definitively recommend. It’s a very nice way to relax if you love space.

Anything space exploration gets my vote. It’s early access and hasn’t been out for long. First impression, this game has excellent future development. already it has out sanding graphics in my opinion. Well worth the buy.

As another reviewer wrote, it’s an asset-flip.

Lucky me gets dubious honour of writing the first review for Arcade Galaxy, which is an asset flip scam.

This is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, Piece of Voxel. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio marketplace, change the name and a few cosmetic details, and try to scam people into paying for someone else’s work on Steam. They have run asset flip scams dozens of times, and this is no exception. It’s nothing but a cash grab.

JUST A GAME

JUST A GAME

“Just a Game” is a science fiction theme flying shooting game.In the game, you will control the robot protagonist Zero and lead your companions to survive in a world that excludes artificial intelligence.

More options:

You’ll have multiple choices, each of which will lead to different outcomes, including the fate of your friends and the death of them.

Multiple teams, multiple choices:

In this world, there are multiple factions, and the styles of these factions are different, the personalities of their leaders are different, and the rewards for joining different camps are different. Naturally, you should also help these camps to take over the whole world. However, be careful, some tasks can make you and the camp you join become antagonistic.Of course, you can stand on your own two feet and lead your own fleet to fight the world, or just be a businessman.

The colorful world:

There are over a dozen different types of ships in the game, dozens or hundreds of space stations, hundreds of NPC with their own unique dialogues, and some of them give you extra missions.

In the game there are merchants, mercenaries, interstellar vagabonders, cosmic bandits and so on, as well as surviving ARTIFICIAL intelligence. The things sold by different units are random, and the prices are also random. Maybe you can make a small profit from this.

When a space station in the game is captured by a faction, it becomes the territory of that faction and begins to produce troops belonging to that faction.

Slightly hardcore Settings:

When the protagonist group of the spaceship is destroyed after the game will directly end, must protect the protagonist group of the spaceship.

Multiple combat:

Not only can you lead your fleet, but you can also lead your ground forces into the enemy’s space station or ship to defeat the enemy from within.
