I’ve played this game a lot on the Nintendo Switch with a friend of mine and yeah, this game’s really fun, but also challenging, with almost every level being a different task and always in different ways. Especially after the first levels oh boy if it’s gonna be tough, but don’t worry: co-op exists for a reason right? ;)

Thy Creature
‘Thy Creature’ is a story game where a Creature goes on an adventure to a distorted tower.

WARP-TEK
After nearly 70 hours of gameplay, unlocking every trophie, I can really say this is one of my favorite 2D games of all time. It has addicting gameplay, good music, and just good programming. The only real complaint I have is that when you start it’s difficult to tell your player apart from enemy’s, but after a few hours of play you get used to it.

Apocalyptic Adventure: Episode 1
A Gem, yet to be Found
As the store page states it, this game is made by a small team and is designated as an early access title. But early access is not the right word for what we got here so far. Think about Apocalyptic Adventure: Episode 1 as an advanced Demo of what this series might can become in the near future. The coremechanics are already fleshed out, the menu and backpack system is on a good way, Your inventory, which can be grabbed from your back, works as you place it in the world intuitively. Especially while crafting weapons and tools at one of the many workbenches, you get a feeling for the intuitive “grabbing in the bag” to get your resourcess. In addition to the backpack storage on your back for big things, the player got a small pouch on the lef hip in which utility items, like stones, bombs and ammo can be stored and quickly acessed. To get rid of the infected hordes which come at you as you progress threw the map, the player mostly relies on melee combat. While beeing able to use your fists to push the infected away, the game tells you quite early that the use of tools, handcrafted weapons and traps are the way to go against the undead. Handgun combat is also part of the game, while ammo is always low and it is meant as the last devestating defence in the most tragic situations.

“Apocalyptic Adventure: Episode 1” is a action, adventure, strategy thats a nice mix. A very nice game looking forward to episode 2. I will recommend this game but only 3.99 euro thats cheap.

Boss 101
FULL DISCLOSURE: I am good friends with the developers and have been watching the progress of this project for quite some time. They also used some music of mine I had lying around - was very happy to contribute! Other than that, I had nothing to do with the development - just a fan and friend.
Boss 101 feels like something Nintendo might have cooked up. The feeling you get when you play it is like taking a trip to Disneyland while playing Earthbound on the lookout for packets of Z-Bots (remember those?), Monster-In-My-Pocket, and M.U.S.C.L.E - lots of love and TONS of effort went into creating an adventure (and SERIOUS unlock-a-thon) that has no right to be as damned charming as it is.

A short sappy game born from new grounds. It’s what I would call an arcade shooter. It’s a causal fun chill-out game by feel. The plot was what it needed to be, the cast came off as well written enough for what the game is. The two main characters and quips actually can be good for laugh from time to time. The world building is good and actually kind of gets interesting. The game even comes with decent minigames. The controls felt good on both keyboard and xbox360 controller. The whole game, in old school arcade fashion, has your character always firing forward with no pitching, which from a design aspect is a good thing to keep combat simpler since this game is presenting itself as a more causal experience. The random bosses are kind of neat and fun, but get stale after enough encounters, the attacks while varied at first, will seem limited later if you play the game for a while. The actual bosses without spoiling anything are actually novel to play against. Mind you it’s not hard, but still fairly fun and charming game. The soundtrack ranges from background ambiance to some pretty good techno tracks. My gripes are with the ui, sifting through 200 hats, in a line gets old real quick; a grid or some other system might cut down on the hassle for these menus. I don’t really need it, but I know some people look for the ability to change your upgrade level. The big one being health for the kind of people that enjoy the extra hardness. One smaller gripe is that you go back to the base screen after every mission, which is fine until you want to go achievement hunting or try and get the various medals with each level, being able to get straight back to that screen after beating a level as an option would be nice. Overall it’s worth the 10 dollars; the game shines best in charm and world building but can get repetitive with the random bosses.

This game is amazing.
I bought it yesterday and played with a friend. It’s fun, it’s challenging and some fights made us scream like little girls. :D
It is easy to handle, but hard to master.
The devs are active, they respond to questions, bug reports and suggestions. If you report a bug it is most likely fixed in the very next update.
It is worth the money and a hidden gem. I hope it will get the attention it deserves.

Ich habe es gestern gekauft und mit einem Freund gespielt. Es macht Spass, ist herausfordernd und sorgte dafür, dass wir in einigen Situationen wie kleine Mädchen geschrien haben. :D
