DEEMO -Reborn-
DEEMO -Reborn- is a musical, beautiful & charming experience, in which it combines
rhythmic arcade-ish gameplay (hitting keys at the right time, in the same essence as OSU!mania/DJMax etc)
& solving clever and semi-demanding riddles/puzzles, so that you can unlock more songs to play, more areas to explore
& to progress the story further.
The Story is quite mystical & very emotional, with many but short cutscenes and a few dialogues that explains what’s going on. Voice over is only in Japanese (with english subtitles ofc)

I’m honestly so split with this port of the game. I feel like it’s a lot easier to play with keyboard, which is both good and bad. I’m glad it makes it more accessible to others, but now this is just like the NS port all over again. If you play on this version people are more likely to think you aren’t as skilled because now you can just hold SPACE and don’t have to wiggle joysticks.
Plus the fact that VK songs, Cytus 1 & 2, Egoist, AND Rayark 3 packs aren’t available is extremely disappointing. Because of the loss of almost 20 songs, the game feels a lot more empty and I’m just more tempted to boot my PS4 up to play Alone with you or Parousia.

Boom Fighters
Jump, defeat enemies, avoid obstacles, solve puzzles and more by playing to the rhythm of music as awesome vinyl toys that will save the world from boredom. It will also have a level editor for you to create your own worlds and share them with other players around the world!
Boom Fighters is a music 3D platformer title where music, video games and designer-toy-style figures meet to create a fascinating universe full of craziness and fun. This game is in early stage of development, but we want to share all the development process with everyone.
The level editor will allow players to create their own levels either with the characters, songs and environments that are included with the game.
The world of Boom Fighters is being numbed by the boredom caused by an evil entity, who has kidnapped all the elements that made the world fun and locked them in a secret place. The boom fighters have to travel and fight this entity and its henchmen to find the secret place and give the fun back to the world.
This is the scope planned for the complete game on final release (Early Access will start in 2020):
★ 10 Worlds + 10 Songs
★ 10 Playable Characters
★ MIDI instruments can be used as input
★ Platformer + Puzzle + Fighting mechanics
★ Level editor for the players to create their own levels
IMPORTANT: The current version only has two worlds and four playable characters.
Our inspiration for this game comes from different worlds. On the one hand, we have always loved vinyl (designer toys) figures, from brands like Kid Robot, Tokyo Plastic, Tokidoki an the likes. On the other hand, music has been one of the strongest forces to drive our studio’s creativity. Our musical inspiration comes from The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Gorillaz, among many others. And finally, since the beginning of our operation we have been inspired on how our players have loved the rhythmic mechanics that we’ve created so far and we can not wait to continue creating this kind of games d(-.-)b

Ephemerid: A Musical Adventure
I don’t usually review much, but I had to review this game.
Ephemerid: A Musical Adventure is a creative art piece with classic rock music that will make your guitar skills sound phony and ridiculous as soon you start clicking to the rhythm and embarking on a journey of life as a little mayfly.
It’s a simple point and clicking game, an interactive story, it resembles paper cut animation, yet it is enough to tangle you until the very end (worked for me!).
It’s not a long game: an hour and a half, maybe, is enough to complete it.
– Real player with 7.8 hrs in game
Ephemerid: A Musical Adventure is a charming rhythm game with a fun and casual musical experience. I enjoyed the soundtrack, the visuals, and the story. I finished the game in it’s entirety (including the secret game to get all achievements) in about 6 hours.
I really liked the main story and gameplay and didn’t have a single problem with it. The secret game, however, is a completely different animal. It was the bane of my existence. I lost my mind multiple times to the point where I broke down into gross sobbing (possibly just because I was emotionally drained or whatever I don’t know). The music that accompanies the secret game mode is just as great as the rest of the soundtrack, but the rhythm gameplay portion of it was broken and impossible to beat without AutoHotKey.

Metal: Hellsinger
Part human, part demon, and obsessed with vengeance. Become The Unknown, and fight through the fiercest domains of Hell. Destroy the demon hordes and their leaders to set yourself up for an epic showdown with The Red Judge herself.
Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm FPS, where your ability to shoot on the beat will enhance your gameplay experience. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music will become and the more destruction you will cause.
Defeat the demon hordes with a skull-clad blade or a wide range of murderous guns. Each weapon has its own ultimate ability, such as Murder of Crows or The Big Goodbye.
Play through an epic storyline, narrated by award-winning actor Troy Baker. Then conquer the leaderboards or challenge your friends to beat your score in Challenge Mode.
Although commonly known as Hell, The Infernal Planes is in reality a union of a thousand Hells, all of which are terrifying and diabolical in their own way. In order to dethrone The Red Judge, you must fight your way through the fiercest corners, from the icy world of Voke to the maddening world of Stygia.
Metal: Hellsinger is created by an experienced FPS team at The Outsiders and is the passion project of David Goldfarb, Game Director on Payday 2 and Lead Designer on Battlefield 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Every track is created specifically for the game with vocals by metal icons, such as Matt Heafy (Trivium), Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn Strid (Soilwork), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Tatiana Shmailyuk (Jinjer).
