Max: The Curse of Brotherhood
Unless you were a younger sibling you are going to deny it. Those pesky younger siblings just get in the way of your fun time always wanting to be in your way. So some of us can relate to poor Max when he types into Giggle …” how to make my brother go away”! Since this is a videogame and not real life it ACTUALLY happens and Felix gets sucked into another world. It up to Max to save him. It is his fault after all…..
Artwork and Voice Acting
This game look gorgeous even on my laptop which has poor specifications. On a better powered system this game would look amazing. The voice work was a treat to the ears and had a lot of personality to it. Max sounds like a cocky young kid and some of his lines are funny. Felix sounds…. whiny, our villain sounds campy and old lady sounds… old and wise.

Max. You little pleasing title you. Sometimes, during a steam sale, I grab something that looks interesting and just hope it pans out. This game looked nice. Puzzley platformifisizing and all that. Figured, why not it’s only $3.75. What a fantastic surprise.
If you are like me and tend to gravitate to action platforming a la Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider as well some some puzzling going on then this very well might fit in your library quite snuggly.
Max’s brother is abducted by an evil villain named Mustachio - WARNING: This title is very anti-mustache and any facial hair aficionados might be offended. His lil bro is then sucked into a netherworld from which only Max can save him. I don’t know why. If it was my little brother I would be turning his room into a new play room and stealing all his legos. But I suppose brotherly love must overcome and all that.

I love the Oddworld series. I own all of the games in the series, and in fact have bought Abe’s Oddyssee four times - once for Playstation, once for PC, once on GOG.com and again on Steam. Now I’ve effectively bought it a fifth time in the shape of New’n’Tasty.
First of all, it looks absolutely stunning. JAW have managed to capture the look and style of the original game whilst bringing it bang up to date - the new character animations are gorgeous, background effects really add to the atmosphere, and the 3D effects work without being distracting.

Chronology was a fun experience, but a little lacking. It’s definitely worth a playthrough, and I would recommend it, but I’ll try to keep my thoughts concise enough to be helpful.
Pros:
-Interesting gameplay concept. I had a lot of fun just conceptually with the idea of not only switching between two versions of the levels, but more importantly controlling the two characters in tandem. It was a lot of fun, and the game’s strongest point.
-The game, while in a level, feels extremely responsive and well crafted. Switching between the Old Inventor and the Snail is very fast, as is changing the time period. Moving around and platforming feels good, rewarding and all around pleasant. While there are a few quirks here and there, they’re to be expected, and overall I think the dev team did a wonderful job making sure the play experience during levels was enjoyable.

A Boy and His Blob
I never played the original, so I express no nostalgia bias when I say…. If you value your time and money, do not play this game.
The charming graphics hide an unforgiving game with unresponsive controls and terrible level design. A Boy and His Blob is far, far, too long, also. The first level fools you into believing innocent fun is afoot. Don’t be deceived. There’s a reason players aren’t completing most of the available achievements: This game is brutal and unforgiving… and not in the “Raiden” shoot-em-up type of way. Further, This game is boring - brutally boring, and progressing through each level is a chore you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. In many of the levels it’s impossible to see where you’re going until you’re dead - a hallmark of awful level design. The challenge stages take the wretched level design to 11, and make you start over from the beginning of the level.

I remember renting the original “A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia” NES game in 1990. It was cute, but ultimately frustrating, from what I recall. However, the premise (i.e., feeding a blob jelly beans in order to have him transform) was great – so great, in fact, that the premise was retained but everything else was discarded for the 2009 remake on the Wii. “Remake” isn’t quite right; as movies have done of late, the new “A Boy and His Blob” was a reimagining. The PC version on Steam is a port of the 2009 version, not the original NES version. History lesson over.

Green Marquis
Great idea for a game.
Not too expensive for a niche puzzle platformer, but otherwise I have no complaints. There
is a discount for the game, I recommend taking it.

Интересная и нервная игрушка. А самое главное пройти ее можно не так и быстро. Очень трудно было пройти 6 уровень. А так все более менее легкое.

Do you like short games with worse graphics made by university students in 5-6 months? Then boy do I have the game for you.
It’s a silly game, but otherwise quite solid. A nice platformer that encourages speed and tricks (though most levels are flexible enough.) Oh, and there’s prop physics and some cool dev-like secrets too. Overall, a nice challenging experience. Just be prepared for the steep difficulty at the end.
I’m personally glad this game exists. Hope the creators enjoyed making it and maybe even make more game stuff!
