Red Haze
If you are looking for the typical “twist on Red Riding Hood”, you are in for one hell of a surprise. There is nothing typical about this game. Even if you have played previous games by Yai Gameworks (like Close Your Eyes or Take the Dream IX) you know to expect the unexpected. But nothing can truly prepare you for Red Haze.
It’s a unique gaming experience which feels never-ending. Red Haze begs to played over and over, with a dizzying amount of endings and areas to explore: every playthrough reveals new secrets, scares and raises more questions along the way. Once you dive in, it’s impossible to stop. There are items with varied uses, and situations have multiple outcomes. Nothing is as it seems. As you play, each new game will feel a little different, depending on which path you decide to take. The choice is ultimately your own, as the game puts you in full control of poor Rockette’s fate. At least you think you are in control, and then BAM the game gives you a blood-curdling reminder otherwise. If you are familiar with the dev’s previous games, you are already accustomed to a moderate level of difficulty when it comes to puzzles and such. Red Haze isn’t any different in that regard. It’s a game that demands focus and plenty of patience. Don’t worry, though, not even death is the end in this game.

Red Haze is a great example of hard work, little money, and a great experience. This proves that not every game has to spend a great large amount of money for a quality game, I fell in love with this game, I love Rockette she is a very enjoyable character, and the rest of the cast are very Likable as well, my favourite part of the whole game as far as right now is Rockette with starry’s dress in the Game Host’s show ending (ending H which is 1/4 part of it) scene where
! she seems very dominate and is on top of a naked starry, very cool (honestly Rockette seems cutier in Starry’s dress)

I recommend this to anyone who is interested in visual novels. This game reminds me of the Grisaia series, as every single character has a completely different route.

This game have read-time about 50-60hrs ( as for me, who is a slow reader, I see myself by 70hrs around )
! So, I finished the Game now, and like I predicted: around 70hrs for me. It was a really good game and I had a bit Water in my Eyes, as I came to the end of Ames-route.
Good Game, good Novel, really.

Erinye Demo
Ever wanted to play a sexy Link to the Past game w/ monstergirls and anime girls? Well, here you go. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this game - I was expecting a generic jrpg but it’s a straight up top down action clone of LttP. Actually pretty fun to play - I was initially interested just by the art style but the lttp gameplay works well for it, and exploring the world is fun, and there are decent puzzles to solve and such, too. Not too linear, either, feels like you actually get rewarded for exploring the map.

Pretty hyped for this one to move forth, a bit of mix of zelda old school, some good difficulty and random fun with the side portions of it, plus the demo is fairly big and has several things to do, to which I need to still finish the temple xD
I also like the artstyle, pretty nice, right up my alley. Plus I been wanting more games like this on steam, more than those games that really have no content to them, (you know, those games that bank everything on the nudity, rather than some pretty fun gameplay + story. we need more games like that, and like the h-metrovanias with atmosphere to their designs.)

Gahkthun of the Golden Lighting is eroge visual novel set in europe-like school-city Academia.
Gahkthun features about 20 hours of reading with linear story. There are choices, but they dont influence story, they only add bonus scenes if you chose right.
Protagonist is girl Neon Scalar, who just started in Academia as freshman, got into problems and got her ass saved by mysterious superhero Nikola Tesla.
Since steam doesnt allow neutral reviews and i have to decide if i recommend this game or not, then i chose not to, reasons follow below.

This is an alternate earth. Steam development in early 1900 went out of control and grow past our own earth’s industrial revolution. This is a world controlled by steam power and ART (special power).
There is a shadow loom over the civilized western world of Europe and greatly feared even by the monarchy that rules the world. They built a whole island at the coast of France and then build a grand school call academia on that island. On the surface that school offers the highest academic achievement in the entire world with highest standards but shadow is never that simple. As you proceed you will find out more and more layers of darkness and evil lurking and consuming young life.

This is so painful (even headache-inducing) to look at. That’s just the first of many problems to come:
There are invisible enemies throughout the game that can’t be killed and very rapidly sap your health; so save early, save often and use all of your slots.
The game forgets it’s even a shooter until your first weapon on Level 3, and then finally adds killable enemies on Level 4 and up.
The shooting and movement are just crude and clumsy. It’s near impossible to both successfully attack an enemy and dodge incoming fire unless you’re far away from them.

This game is very unintuitive. It imitates Wolfenstein 3D and similar games but even just the first level seems unable to be completed at first because it’s unclear how to even finish the level, to which when you do for some reason there appears to be a results screen that flickers and is gone. I’ve not even progressed past the second level because I came across the invisible enemy and got spammed to death with no way to defend myself to which I just quit the game.
I will probably try to complete this game at some point if I’m honest but it will be because I bought it and I’m curious to see just how bad it gets or if it somehow gets better and something will change my mind later on. For now I cannot recommend it to anyone.

James Peris: Sin licencia ni control - Edición definitiva
This is a Spanish language (with some English translation) classical point-and-click adventure game with a hand drawn cartoon art style, and various bad taste jokes throughout the game. Looks like I get to write the first English review!
The concept isn’t bad and the hand drawn cartoon art is reasonably well done. The key problem here is that despite a 2012 release, there’s no widescreen support for the game (was it developed on old 4:3 CRT monitors??), so it falls below minimum standards for a PC game, then and now. I certainly hope the artists and writers go on to do better things, and it’s a shame the game doesn’t meet basic standards for modern PC games.

It‘s not really a game but actually a statement; a critical comment on how playing with fire can get yourself some heavy 3rd degree burns in an instant. A picture that tries to siphon out your soul without filling the gap it creates.
This is the story of a broken woman, a girl so young and innocent that she wouldn‘t be allowed to play this game she‘s the protagonist of.
Cleril’s My Name is Addiction may be one of the most disturbing novel ever made (it could upset some players even more than Quentin Tarantino‘s Super Mario Bros. or even EA‘s Assassin‘s Creed did), yet it’s impossible to take your eyes off it, even though it‘s 4:26 am and you got to be awake in less than an hour.

Pretentious, and poetic, the game is interesting, it deals with some heavy subject matter, but on first playthrew i got the point, and seamed to make it to an end of the story that made sence, over all it was worth the $.59, that i paid for it, and perhaps the out come changes thru multiple playthroughs, but it did not engage me enuff to play more then once, more of an interactive short story, then anything els… If the subject matter intrigues you then id say try it at least once ^.,^
