Nasty Rogue

Nasty Rogue

Hello game dev!

You’ve made a pretty fun game, honestly I would recommend it, though right now I feel maybe the price is a bit too high for what you get, though achievement hunting and trying all 3 classes definitely pads the play time a bit.

With that said though, your Hardcore Achievement seems to be bugged right now, I heard from someone it only works on slot one? I made my first character on slot one, normal difficulty, and made my second, a rogue, on the second slot hardcore mode, got to the very end and no achievement?

I think this game has a huge future!

I saw the game on one stream, decided to download a pirate and watch the game, after playing 6 hours passed completely, then decided to go to steam and see if the game is developing and was very pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s just an alpha! As a result, I bought the game in steam, and re-passed on the expert at 100%

and I’m going to re-try the game on hardcore after adding a character slot!

Pluses:

1 nice voxel graphics

2 good sound

3 interesting but still unfinished combat system (Dark souls + Trove)

D100 Dungeon Computer Companion

D100 Dungeon Computer Companion

Hello! And thank you for checking out this review. Before we get to the main body of the review for the D100 Dungeon Computer Companion I feel I should make a few things known:

I play a good bit of D100 Dungeon in pencil and paper form.

I make overview, review, and tip videos covering D100 Dungeon on YouTube.

I purchased this product with the intent of spending a good bit of time with it and writing a review.

I value my time and money.

All that being said, lets begin:

The D100 Dungeon Computer Companion is a program that essentially automates and tracks the D100 Dungeon Solo Adventure Game experience to include fully managing the player’s Adventure sheets, Map, Combat Encounters and all dice and Table rolls. The program also guides a player step by step through each phase of a turn. With a D100 Dungeon Solo Adventure Game core rule book for reference and the D100 Dungeon Computer Companion app, a player is able to run a digital D100 Dungeon experience.

Although I’ve seen several negative comments, so far this has worked really well for me. I usually have the pdf open of the game so I can look up monsters or treasure or whatever is needed. I like that you can move windows around and drag/drop them. It really takes the load off the bookkeeping which I think is awesome. Given I have every hardback book for D100 Dungeon, I hope they continue development to add in the adventure companion and other supplements later. Well done!

DARK AROUND YOU

DARK AROUND YOU

Not a bad game, with nice graphics and pleasant gameplay. Played for a couple of hours and it was worth it.

Real player with 2.8 hrs in game

Dark Around You is yet another 2D retro pixel platformer polluting the Steam marketplace. This one has a telekinesis gimmick where you can drag things around with the mouse pointer to help you do the platforming.

While this was built in Unity, it doesn’t seem like an asset flip as there’s a bespoke story and some pretty uniquely done mechanics and visuals. Kudos to the developer for that.

They chose to use obsolete retro pixel “art” as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It’s unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. There’s a really unpleasant screen filter/effect that makes the camera sway as you move around, it made me feel a bit queasy, and I couldn’t see any way to turn that off. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC.

Rosemary’s Fate Life Worth Living

Rosemary’s Fate Life Worth Living

I have been asked to play and review this game. I have to say I really enjoyed Rosemary’s fate. It is an audio-based game that has practically no visuals/graphics.

You really have to listen to what sounds you need to follow to reach your goal. You have to use your spatial awareness to sense where and what direction you need to go. I used headphones and I would recommend if you were to play this.

Like most games I did find Rosemary’s Fate quite challenging as it can be frustrating when you feel you have tried every avenue however when you finally find it there is a sense of accomplishment.

I bought out of curiosity how to play audio games. Surprised.

First, the atmosphere of the game. I did not expect that you can achieve so much with sounds. I even

forgive the creators for the voice actors. They could be better, but the other sounds and music are

really good.

Second, the story. At the beginning, mysterious voices, teleport and the like. But then the story gets

less and less obvious. I can already see several possible endings to this adventure. But I’m not sure

about any of them. And for that a big plus for the creators.

The Lady Puppet

The Lady Puppet

The Lady Puppet is a Survival Horror Adventure game with emphasis on atmosphere and exploration. It features light puzzle solving sections, stealth sections and a peculiar “doll system” that lets you summon and control companions through the use of “dolls”.

Play as Lailah Reah, a young and innocent girl, and help her find a way out of Clawhill, a bizarre place where “survivors” have been turned into living marionettes.

Use everything you have at your disposal, survive the horror and uncover the mysteries behind Clawhill, the Masked Woman and the Final Autumn.

Diggles: The Myth of Fenris

Diggles: The Myth of Fenris

Very surprised Diggles/Wiggles has appeared on Steam, but VERY happy it did!

This is an unique game; nothing really compares to it then (20 years ago), and since then no game has been published (to my knowledge) that comes even close to it. So i almost immediatly bought it (again).

Didnt play Wiggles for years as the original sadly wasnt compatible with ‘newer’ Windows-version. (Could play the official Demo a bit longer though.)

Although graphics is a bit outdated and gameplay is quite slow, the game concept is so good, it was and still is the best game i ever played.

WTF!?! Who’s feet do I have to kiss for finally bringing this game to Steam!! If you ever played and enjoyed, Oxygen not Included, and the new early access game, Hammerington, then you will like this game as well. I even purchased those aforementioned games in the hopes to fill the hole this game left in me decades ago. While a bit dated on graphics (released in 2002), the game still has its same charm and is still very playable. By the end of the game, your dwarves will be riding around on hover boards, and brandishing light sabers. How can you go wrong with that? Thank you

Eclipse

Eclipse

I like of diabloid games, I have played D2, D3 for a lot of hours and more than 12k hours in Path of Exile, what can I say. The game is very interesting, It is interesting to kill mobs, and this is the most important thing in such games. Good optimization, nice graphics (no ripped-out pixels). Although early access is still damp, but very suitable, I will follow the development of the project

Go through gloomy dungeons full of loot, monsters and traps. Locations are easy to walk through, although sometimes more intricate corridors come across. There is a lot of loot from monsters, so there will be no problems with what to wear).

positive sign:

  • Nice graphics in places.

  • Good music and soundtrack.

  • Quite a lot of types of equipment.

  • Nice, rather confusing locations. It’s interesting to explore.

  • Evil monsters with rapidly growing power. Fortunately, the quality of the equipment also grows adequately.
