Megabyte Punch
Megabyte Punch is an awesome platformer with 4 player versus and coop, highly customizable characters, tons of secrets in maze like levels with tough bosses all in a Super Smash Bros style Brawler.
The main game is fairly short, There are only 6 levels, But each level has 3 parts and each level has a boss and there is a final boss, So this amounts to 18 levels, 7 bosses and a whole lot of unlockables to find. All levels are full with secrets and getting certain parts helps you get to previously unreachable areas.

As someone who’s clocked more time into this than I can arguably say many people have, and stands as the only game in my library that I’ve 100% completed, I’d probably sound just as you’d expect when I say that Megabyte Punch is just good. Just very, very, veryveryvery good. Don’t even let the 100% completion, or the 50 hours, be what convinces you. Hell, don’t even let my review be what convinces you, either! I’m not exactly an unbiased source of information here!
(tl;dr at the bottom.)
Now, before anything else, I’ll mention off the bat that I got the code for my copy of the game off of a Steam friend; looking back, though, I’d say that I’d have bought this regardless, and maybe some more copies for friends as well. take with that information what you will, as maybe not having paid for it myself’s painted my opinion a little.

Colossus Down
Colossus Down is a pretty fun beat ‘em up with interesting mechanics, such as the abilities you can unlock, going into a shoot ‘em up for one of the levels, solving several puzzles, or making karmic decisions. There were however, some things that were not all that fun, such as a couple of bosses, along with the karmic decisions not impacting the game as much as I would have liked it to. Still, even with those gripes, I still enjoyed the game, and I would still recommend it.

Kid goes into a temper tantrum, mounts a mecha and kills the president of the United States.
AND THAT’S JUST THE FIRST LEVEL
I’ll be updating the review as I play, but for the moment, is this a good game? - Yes. It’s an absolutely ridiculous odyssey bursting with personality and a pretty damn good beat’em up.
(Playing Agatha Knife and MechaNika beforehand is recommended)

Chariot
Chariot is a very fun, yet very difficult platforming game where you must constantly babysit a chariot carrying the remains of your king and find the appropriate burial place for your king. Each world leads to a possible place to bury him, but obviously, not until the last world does he find the correct place.
During your travels you, and possibly a friend, must use a rope to pull and hold onto the chariot. You need to work to get through all of the obstacles with your chariot always with you. This is quite a challenge especially as you reach the lava levels, the ice levels, and the quicksand levels. This is definitely not an easy game and by yourself may or may not be easier depending on the skills of your partner, but playing co-op is definitely recommended as it is a lot of fun.

As a platformer fan when I saw this I bought it just on looks alone and this is indeed a very beautifull looking game in every way from the nice lighting effects to the backgrounds to everything. When you I first started this with its soothing music and sound effects I thought I was in for an easy ride how wrong was I in thinking that.
The first level is easy enough breaking you on how the chariot handles but after that it gets harder pretty quick to the point where I nearly gave up and put it in my I can’t be bothered anymore this is too hard and frustrating to continue I have lost count the number of time I took my anger out on my controller to the point of smacking it on my desk a few times. BUT I don’t know why or what it was I just kept on coming back for more time after time until I got onto the next level and then found myself going back and trying to 100% every level I must of been mad.

POSTSCRIPT
This game is adapted from my comic.
There is story mode, so don’t worry about not looked the original comic.
I wanted to make a networking game,
however, the network technology is too hard so I deleted the network mode,
instead, used local multiplay mode.
Players can use STEAM’s Remote Play Together or PARSEC or other third share screen platforms for online connection.
Cultus
This game is unlike any other horror game, it is simplistic, yet so complex on so many different levels. If you like games that make you question why you are playing a horror game at 3 in the morning, then I highly recommend this one to you. If you shit your pants easily however, I would still play this game but with a fresh pair of undies nearby. POG

This game is short but very enjoyable, there are some problems as expected, but this is a very good brand new game studio and I will watch their career with great interest.

Heave Ho
Hilarious game, with the ability of playing with your friends in a strategic and partly difficult world of grabbing things and throwing yourself across the map. This game is designed for ONLY local multiplayer , but there are some certain things you can go through to do this with your friends who are unable to go to your house- like Parsec or Streaming on Steam, which your friends too have to set up in their case(using parsec). Anyways, the game gave Steam a fun & strategic adventure indie game, with the perk of your friends yelling or laughing at you for dying or not being good, but nonetheless- it’s fun.

This is the most fun we had with my cousins on a couch co-op game.
The controls are responding and the physics really fun. My youngest cousin has no problem navigating through a level (compared to how she usually fares in other games.) It’s always a blast when we co-operate and swing, all holding arms together! The opposite is also true: making someone fall to their death and paint the walls with their blood is also funny.
The sound effects really help too. The voices and reactions of the characters sell the game by their own. There’s only laughter when hearing one of us go “iiiiiiiiiiih” while falling.

Sparkles & Gems
A really special gem of a game with a perfectly consistent visual aesthetic and a rocking soundtrack. The match 3 puzzle mechanics alone are fresh but familiar. Treasure mode alone is just a fun grind that I can see myself putting a lot of time into in my future.
What makes this game something truly special and likely to make my game of the year list is the story mode. It drew me in quickly as I tried to understand what this game was. The writing feels familiar but also completely original. It’s strange reality depicted somehow feels more true to life than any ““realistic”” story game I’ve played. This game is really unique. Any point of comparison I can think of would be a disservice to just how special this game really is.

This game is like if Breakout, Bejeweled, and Tetris multiplayer had an orgy and made the ultimate casual game. Each element is familiar but put together really well in a way that makes it fresh and exciting. The gameplay is top notch and super addicting. Games can get really close, and there are often nail-biting moments where you think you’re screwed but barely come out on top. In addition the game is super satisfying to play, which I chalk up to the excellent sound design. Breaking gems and hitting combos never fails to scratch an itch. The music is also really catchy and gets stuck in your head quite easily.

Fireburst
I don’t know if I should give this game a THUMP UP or DOWN. ;( I have mixed feelings about this game, maybe because I am totally in love with this Rock ‘n’ Roll / Bikerstyle. Anyways here are the most important facts in my eyes:
First of all a WARNING:
You can play this game just in Singleplayer OR you host a game local with a friend. When I played it local with a friend the game hasn’t filled the other slots with bots so this seems to be bugged. Multiplayer online isn’t possible because there are no servers and the developers aren’t doing anything since the release in the year 2012.

There is so much good here in terms of aesthetics, sound and graphics.
However, the bottom line is that the core mechanic of “Fireburst” is fatally flawed as more often than not, employing it harms the player to the point that it is more advantageous to not use it at all. The mechanic of cooling down your car in puddles and barrels before it overheats is an interesting concept, but it fails in execution. AI opponents race through the same cooldown areas as you are, so the decision to use Fireburst or not comes down to how often you’ll blow yourself up by overheating, which I’m sure you’ve figured out, is constantly. Opportunities to use it in a skill-based way are extremely limited and flat.

Putty Pals
What is Putty Pals
This is an rather easy co-op platformer.
You and your buddy have to get through the level and finish it together.
No one can be left behind.
About the game
You havea few island to finish levels on. When you collect the hidden items you can unlock bonus levels.
All levels can offer a time trial mode, which i did only one time.
As mentioned above the game is rather easy. There might be some tricky spots but in general not very difficult.
The graphic style fit the game very well.

Putty Pals is a cute and very fun coop game. It is unfortunate that it is only local coop but it is nice to have such a great couch coop game that makes you work together to meet the objective. The gameplay is fairly simplistic with few mechanics but it does create some challenges as you go along. The achievements are all reasonable but not a piece of cake. There are 3 worlds that each have unique environments, with 28 stages total plus a bonus 28 mini-levels. The 28 stages each have 3 collectibles to be found, and the mini-stages each have 1 to unlock time trials that can be done on all 56 areas. There are very rare and minimal glitches in the game and the devs are responsive and supportive in the forums.
