Disney High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance

Disney High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance

I am terrible at games like this but i decided to get this because High School Musical was a huge part of my childhood. I thought I would hate it but once I started I ended up liking it. The character’s look horrible but I think that’s what gives this game it’s charm. It’s the type of game that’s so bad it’s good.

Disney’s Chicken Little: Ace in Action

3rd person shooter. You also can fly and run a tank.

Music is nice. Cutscenes are nice (but low resolution and not fuillscreen - neither is the game itself).

Controls are good, few glitches, no bugs.

An enjoyable 7 hour experience which is not that hard and has a quite linearly (not completely) increasing difficulty curve.

If it´s on sale: WTB - Worth To Buy

This was surprisingly fun to play. I really don’t care about the Chicken Little franchise but ended up playing this game with my daughter on the Wii and found it quite fun. It is basically a 3rd person shooter with lots of unlockables and replayable levels. You get to play as someone on the ground, as a tank, and as a starfighter. Lots of varied enemies and levels. Never seemed to be repetitive. So glad to find it here on steam. I was worried as the gameplay was super fun with the Wii controllers but I have found it even more fun with keyboard and mouse on the PC. Highly recommend this game. It is just surprisingly fun.

Lost Cosmonauts ARG

A short game that involves very basic web searches (most of the time I didn’t even need to read any info on the pages ) in order to answer what amounts to quiz questions. Interesting content but not really much of a game.

I’ll keep the review as short as the game:

There’s not much to this game. It’s a trivia game of sorts, with only 10 questions that don’t change. You’re presented with one riddle-like question at a time (which you must answer in order) where a lot of the challenge is to figure out what the authors are getting at in the first place. All of the questions focus on the Lost Cosmonauts conspiracy (if you’re not familiar with it, look it up). What’s unique is that it’s asking you to leave the game, do research online, and provide the answer based upon your findings. This might be interesting if the answers that the game seeks weren’t so rare, obtuse or redundant (e.g., looking for the name of a lake near some Gagarin tribute site? Well, this could be one of several lakes, depending upon the site…you’ll just have to type in each one until you get the right one).

Just finished the alpha release and though it is filled with some glitches and bugs here and there it really has some potential story wise.

I am well versed on the Rothschild family and their influence on politicians, pushing for sustainable living with a one world governance.

Though the developers may have made this as pure fantasy it has an air of truth to it and i would like to see it go for the jugular with known facts.

Game is scary and right off the bat, it should be a slower cooker that builds tension as the story progress’s.

SCP - 970 is a game based on the works of the SCP Foundation community.

The SCP Foundation is a non-governmental organization with a high reign of the prosperity of humanity — while remaining in total secrecy. They were once dedicated to containing and researching anomalous entities of our world, protecting humanity under a shade of moral grey.

The directive of the SCP Foundation made a complete shift upon the discovery of a foreign entity that has infected every human’s psyche. The O5 Council, the leaders of the SCP Foundation, initiated a directive to exterminate the human race in an attempt to stop the nefarious entity from reaching its true potential, undertaking the belief that doing so would be a mercy.

Additional SCP-970 The Reursive Room features include:

Original SCP-970 interractive story

The Author’s endings

Original SCP-970 document excerpt:

SCP-970 is a spatial phenomenon wherein a collection of rooms are looped on themselves. In all cases found, this is by means of a series of doors appearing in the walls, all in a straight line, such that it is possible to walk forwards and end up at the starting position. The alteration to the rooms does not affect neighbouring rooms and floors. There is as of yet no known explanation for the appearance of this phenomenon.

SCP-970-01 is a cell-block within Sector 19, and the first example of the SCP-970 phenomenon encountered by the Foundation. It was constructed with the intent of housing class-D personnel, and fulfilled that purpose until ██/██/████, when several D-classes breached containment in an escape attempt. The investigation into the incident led to the discovery that a series of doors had appeared in the cell-block, leading into rooms on the opposite side of the corridor. It was quickly established that the layout of the building did not support this addition, and that the rooms were following a non-standard geometry.

Alone in the Dark: Illumination™

Alone in the Dark: Illumination™

I heard how bad this game supposedly was. Watched very negative reviews on youtube. But something made me want to try it anyway. Got it for $5 on a steam sale and I’m happy I did.

This is not a bad game. Not a good game, But certainly not bad, I’ve played several games that were far worse this year alone. At launch it may have been bad, but it seems after some patches in the years following its release, they fixed a lot of the criticisms.

The atmosphere is pretty nice, Some spooky locations on dark stormy nights, abandoned mines or in a graveyard for example. There is a voiced narrator that adds a lot to each of the 4 characters journey. The character models were good and the levels were overall nice looking. A Few glitches. And while not a good game, it kept me wanting to play it. Each character is unique and plays differently and has their own story. I can see this game being fun as a multiplayer experience with friends but works as solo player.

I’m going to go against the general opinion here when I say that I do recommend this game, at least, I do since the June 2016 patch.

Alone In The Dark: Illumination suffers from one major design flaw that’s caused it garner such hate from it’s audience… the fact that it’s called Alone In The Dark. Whilst I am a small fan of the AITD franchise, I am also open-minded when first playing a video game and play them without expectations or immediate judgement. Alone In The Dark this game certainly is not, as it features nothing of the tropes that the franchise normally features, what it IS though is a competant and fun third-person horror/action game.

Bear Simulator

Bear Simulator

I have had this dream since I was a little boy in Quebec, this dream that has stuck with me for nearly two decades. It all started during my first ever visit to the zoo, I was…I was 5 years old. My parents took me before their divorce, before my mom started to take a liking for nigge󠂪r dic󠂪k. I don’t remember much from that trip besides one thing, a gigantic 680kg grizzly bear. He was so big, so strong, so…sex󠂪y. This is also where I remember experiencing my first boner. I remember seeing this magnificent creature and just feeling all tingly inside, and I felt something in my pants going hard, it was my tiny little 5 year old pee pee. Anyway, I can see the bear like it was yesterday, oh I so dearly wish I knew the concept of se󠂪x back then. I knew this bear was different, even then, and the thought of it stuck with long enough to when I got home. I had my first dream about the bear that night. The bear appeared in my sleep, and was still the same muscular and powerful creature I saw at the zoo. It just stared at me, I didn’t know what to do, I stood there in awe and engrossed with what I know now is lust. As the nights went by my dreams only grew more frequent, and by the time I was 12, I found out about internet por󠂪n. However, I never found the girls to peak my interest like the bears did. So I started watching nature documentaries about bears to explore my sexuality. It was the best discovery 12 year old me could have made. Unfortunately, I became more and more immune to the sight of bears screwing on the TV, and wanted to try some bear dic󠂪k for myself. I was 16 at the time, and knew about the native bears in my province. I decided to make a 3 day trip into the Boreal Forest. It did not take me long to find what I was looking for. I saw him…this almost holy creature…I found the one whom I wanted to do unholy things with. I was at a distance, and quietly stripped to my bare as󠂪s, and slowly made my way towards him. However, he noticed me from about 20 meters out and began to run at me full speed. My coc󠂪k became extremely hard, and I ran towards him, I remember so clearly when we made impact. He pinned me to the ground and began to take advantage of my body. He ravaged me right there in the forest. He swiped at my face breaking my jaw and crushed my sternum, he then slashed at my leg, almost ripping it off. I passed out from the pain, and when I awoke I was at the hospital. Although no penetration occurred I was told by the doctors that I was lucky to be alive. I was disappointed though. To this day I still dream of a bear to pin me down, and force itself into me every night. I want to experience these dreams in reality, but if you’ve ever had thoughts like mine, Bear Simulator is the game for you. The sex animations are absolutely sublime and I nut to this game about 120-150 times a day. If only I could feel the true sensations.

I’d like to start off with a simple statment of profound meaning for anyone who is curious why this game bombshelled: F*ck PewDiePie in his pretentious judgemental and cruel little nordic butt.

That aside. Bear Sim is a wonderful game. The elements of exploration and the way the game is designed to keep you drawn in is fantastic. Very few games have ever capitivated me in the way that this game did. It has humor in place of horror or cheap jump scares. It gives a sense of purpose which is quickly and easily adopted without the need of an explanatory narrative. It is build to be friendly and still challenging. An absolute marvel of ingenuity on the dehalf of the developers.

Fallen Times

Fallen Times

I have such a grudge against this game, I couldn’t stop thinking about it 2 years after I played through the entire thing. This is the worst game I have ever played on Steam.

I bought this game for the meme, thinking I’d somehow enjoy it. I WAS WRONG.

The store page claims that you can play this methodically or speedrun style. I tried speedrun style and got killed almost right away. The platforming was awful. Items and keys were placed in areas that were very inconvenient to grab. Opening gates were way more difficult than it should. Enemies chase you down so if you mess up with something else, they’ll kill you quickly, forcing you to pick them off from far away.

TL;DR Yes, I enjoyed sticking my F***ing Ancient Magical Spear into those goats.

And now back to my review:

If you have ANY expectations about graphics, desing, plot and hell know what else, forget about it.

This game is all about not giving a crap, shooting some bad(or at least worse than you?) guys and having fun with it.

It’s a fast paced shooter. You run and shoot at Sonic speed. Guns are ridiculous yet fun to play with. Bosses are hard. Generaly skill based and enjoyful if you don’t think too hard about how ridiculous it is.

Adam’s Venture: Origins

Adam’s Venture: Origins

“Adam’s Venture” is a 3D adventure, stealth and puzzle game in the tradition of Tomb Raider. Just without monsters. But with a companion who could be the “Tomb Raider”. Just without guns. But a sharp tongue. ;-)

So far I had fun playing it, but you should be aware that it’s a strictly linear game. Sometimes it feels like there’s more to explore… but there isn’t. All dead ends, just one single way to go, one single thing to do. Environment can be pretty large at times and is overall beautifully crafted and textured. Character movement animations are a bit stiff, buuuuuut it’s OK.

Real player with 17.7 hrs in game

Adam Venture Origins is simply a 2016 next-gen reimagining of the previous trilogy. Essentially it’s the same franchise we have already probably played with only a few differences here and there.

Changed…

  • Lizard no longer does river dance in the sky.

  • More plants and flowers everywhere.

  • Snake monster now sparkles too.

  • Puzzles have been made easier so that those asleep at the keyboard can solve.

  • Adam Venture has lost weight. His MC Hammer pants have been thrown out.

Other than that it’s essentially the same trilogy with a few differences in some of the previous endings.
