Garden Story
Note: I received Garden Story as a birthday gift.
I am really enjoying my time with Garden Story- while it’s not a perfect game by any means, and could use a bit of polish in some minor areas, overall it’s charming, addictive and well made. I’m not done yet, but I’m looking forward to finishing the game- it’s basically a cross between a zelda game and a basic farming game. The game tends to lean much more heavily into the adventuring than the home-steading, so play with that in mind.
Things they did well;

Garden Story is a pretty nice game; a relaxing Zelda-like I still enjoyed a fair amount, but it is not worth 20 dollars.
I believe that it is “an action adventure game in denial.” It sounds like it wants to be something a bit closer to Stardew Valley, but it definitely failed there. The gardening is a very basic and secondary aspect of the game. You prepare the spot, plant the crop, and go do other stuff while they grow over the course of a few in-game days. You don’t even need to water them. It is about typical Zelda-y things, adventuring and fighting, but it is trying to specifically not center too much around those aspects, and ends up hindering the only real content it has.

Chronicles of Sarval: Bridges of Koni
The game positively surprised me, the best aspects are:
GAMEPLAY: very simple and intuitive
CHALLENGE: innovative and different because combine the 2D arcade adventure with a simple puzzle.
SOUND: very well crafted and takes the player into a complete immersion
PLOT: complete, makes the player curious to reach the end of the game.

The sword and shield were supposedly guarded by the ancient Corsarians, but their existence, and possible whereabouts are now purely part of folklore.
The evil wizard Suzar has assembled a fighting force of mutated humanoids and plunged the kingdom into a state of fear. An entire army of brave warriors has already perished at the hands of the wicked wizard, and only with the combined power of the legendary sword and shield is it possible to defeat the dark forces that are suffocating the land.
Having been summoned before King Darius and the High Council of Anar, you and five other loyal men volunteer to find the enchanted sword and shield, and destroy Suzar before he is able to amass an army large enough to enslave Anar, and the rest of the world…

Survival RPG: The Lost Treasure
This is a nice simplistic adventure and survival game. I enjoyed it very much. It is rough or simple, but I like it very much. Actually I have played the two sequels, too. I hope for more in the future!

Quite good crafting adventure. Lots of crafting materials to gather and plenty of secrets to find. The game doesn’t look like much from the screenshots but it’s pretty good. Fighting mechanics could have been a bit better but it’s not bad. It is not a farming sim like stardew valley. It’s a crafting RPG. You pretty much get all the crafting materials instantly .. just lying around and respawning quickly. You kill enemies by swinging your sword. You can craft better weapons and armor as you get deeper into the game. Does not have hunger or similar mechanics for survival so the game allows you to take your time exploring. Looks like a mobile game ported to PC but keyboard or even controller should work ok with something like Joy2Key. Not bad for it’s price. I’m looking forward to the other games in this series that the developers have lined up for 2021.

Adventure of Elysia
What is Adventure of Elysia?
In Adventure of Elysia it’s your job to uncover the secret of the mysterious island Elysia. Along your way you have to fight a wide variety of opponents, solve puzzles, make new friends and much more!
Use your skills!
At the beginning you only have your sword, but over the time you will learn new skills and become stronger. With your new skills, such as a dash or new items for example a bow, you will advance faster and follow the story.
Updates
The game is currently in the early stages of development. The graphics, many animations and also the basic essence of the game will receive many updates to improve the gaming experience. A multiplayer mode is also being planned, so be curious!
About the developer
This is my first game in which I have invested a lot of time and passion. I will continue to work on it and improve it continuously until it becomes the game that it should be.
Alek - The Lost Kingdom
Updated opinion from edit is at the bottom.
Great Concept, I have played 11 hours in and I still want to play. However, the game just crashes now and it’s because of a bugged out Hunter. He doesn’t hunt unless you interact and close the menu, if you make him quit the game crashes. I lost 10 minutes of progress which turned out to be a lot of stuff being done in that time span. It’s fustrating to have an incompetent NPC that carries a heavy liability to cause crashes.
I sent a couple of the crashes not sure if the Dev received them. With this problem I am held back from progression in the game. It won’t matter if I do another save because the bug can just happen again.

Here I am back for another game review!
Today I’m covering elements of Alek - The Lost Kingdom.
This is a charming little adventurer simulator that centers around Alek (the PC). In this game you build up and manage village settlements, ward off attacks, and help develop a land. Now mind this game IS only in Early Access at the time of this review. That being said it has a lot to offer. Now I know some of you are going to look at my play time and say “But Relmara! That’s hardly enough for a fair review!” The only reason I haven’t logged more time in this game is because of a nasty bug that kept me from loading an old game and starting a new one. Here is where I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. Dev. Blackmeyers has been VERY hands on with us early access player when regarding bugs. I know that working out such issues is laboriously hard. I have never had a dev. respond so expediently to an issue. It’s very heartening to know that we have someone so invested in their player base working to helm the game.

Disneyland Adventures
A very entertaining game for Disneyland fans. I saw this in the Steam store and showed my wife, as she is a HUGE Disney fan. She told me to get it immediately because Disney. I didn’t mind because Frontier has done great park games in the past. (RCT3 and Planet Coaster)
This game doesn’t fail to deliver on it’s promise. You can explore all the main parts of Disneyland, and they are recreated fairly accurately. The graphics and art style is good, albeit slightly cartoon-y. It’s a nice blend of feeling like you are there, but still being a cartoon representation. The rides which are included have been turned into multi-staged mini-games, which is an interesting and fun twist. Exploring everything is held together with questing and finding hidden items. The whole game plays like an open RPG; Think Skyrim for a 7 year old.

The game has a LOT of mini-games in it. It will definitely keep you busy. Some of the games might give eye sensitive players a slight case of vertigo (down the rabbit hole, for one).
Game storyline: You play a mute kid (prove me wrong) [your choice of boy or girl] who is asked by the Disney characters to help them collect items. You level up by performing these tasks and discovering hidden treasures with the help of magical items provided by particular characters. With each Disney character, you are able to high five them, dance with them, ask them for an autograph, or get a hug (note: not all characters will be okay with hugging). In order to get autographs, you need to buy the autograph books from the stores. Also, you will need to buy photo albums to be able to take pictures and selfies of certain areas (watch for the bouncing photo signs). I would advise having the camera in your possession while wandering around the park. This is because there are large blue circles that appear on the ground when you have your camera in your hand to take a photo of a popular area. The goal is basically to 1) get all of the quests done, 2) find all of the hidden treasures, 3) photograph all of the hidden Mickeys, 4) complete your photo albums, pin albums, and autograph books.

Dragonsphere
As far as third-person graphic adventure games go (from the early years of CD-ROM games), this one is very good. And among the three (pure) adventure games that MPS created, this was definitely the best one.
POSITIVES
Inasmuch as MPS created a relatively unique player interface that is surprisingly easy-to-use, it’s a shame MPS didn’t keep making adventure games. However, in all fairness, starting in 1993, CD-ROM point-and-click adventure-game offerings exploded on the market with a flood of genre-changing titles that were in a league of their own, so I can understand why a computer-game company that didn’t specialize in this type of game would want to bow out.

I wouldn’t know about you, but I’ve always been a fan of the old school adventure games with rich stories and ridiculously hard puzzles back in the day. Dragonsphere is an old school point & click adventure, originally developed and published by Microprose in 1994, and carries all qualities of its genre from obscure puzzles to incredibly rich narrative.
We take a quick glimpse on the land of Callahach, a medieval realm with high fantasy elements. 20 years ago, the evil sorcerer Sanwe was defeated and sealed into his own tower by the King, young prince Callash and court wizard, Ner-Tom with the usage of the Dragonsphere. 20 years later, the seal begins to wear off and once again, the realm is threatened by Sanwe’s probable release. Prophecies of old call - now King Callash, to finish the battle started 20 years ago. After his coronation, our King decides to take the quest of facing the evil sorcerer and see to his demise once and for all.
