Ossuary

Ossuary

Ossuary is now one of my favourite games ever made. A philosophical journey, something in between RPG and text adventure. The artwork perfectly suits the objective; the graphics are simplistic yet crafted with much attention to detail. The avatar you take control of resembles a marble navigating a labyrinth. The ossuary’s museum is secretly a mizmaze.

Built on the principles of discordianism, the game takes place in the lower hell, purgatorial ossuary, a place of bones. This is a place where no progress can be made, no ideas can flourish. What the wanderer must realize is that this place is the lowest point: any deeper hell exists merely within fear itself. Those who live in fear are trapped in a desolate labyrinth and remain in the dark. Once the wanderer realizes this, the unbinding begins. FNORD

This game is hard to get into.

The start of the game is dull and nothing really prompts you to continue playing, besides a few minor dialogue options. Though the game doesn’t really change from this formula, I started to enjoy it more and more as I played through.

With over 1,300 lines of dialogue, every character’s personality is detailed enough that you’ll want to explore all their possible responses.

Direction wise, this game does not hold your hand.

This is a game where you have to play it in one sitting, which is about a 3-5 hour playthrough.

Judgement

This game is quite nice somehow, I think it’s okish. If you want some disturbing decisions it’s great and I kinda enjoyed it actually, even though my mind broke in some decisions… like seriously? What the hell is wrong with the Devs to put someone in such situations. Hell no! Still, would buy again, wating for Part 2 now.

The description of this game is honest, and it really shows in the game. ‘Judgement, in its first form, was created when the designer was at the angsty age of 15. The perspectives and themes have their origins in a 15-year old boy trying to tell a story.’, however I think it is dishonest to truly say it has developed beyond that point.

Within this game, story is primarily told to you through various notes, rather expositional diatribes which I certainly could see myself having written when I was 15. However as such, they are abstract or completely separate from what the game is trying to be, which makes them frankly comical because there’s no cohesion - which again, I guess makes the description honest of it being a 15 year old who started the making of it.

Demon heart

Demon heart

Devil’s Hunt

Devil’s Hunt

Updated on the 05 February 2021 - All fixes and changes will be underlined.

Devil’s Hunt is a mess of a game. It shouldn’t have left the oven. With all the problems surrounding this game, and the developers going bankrupt, there is probably no hope left for it.

In case you didn’t know, the studio that made this game never let it’s staff know that they were going under. People were working to get this game done without getting paid, just to try and make a name for themselves, and one day they get to the office just to find it empty with their belongings on the trash.

Literally some of the worst money I have ever spent. When I put this game on my wish list, it was because I thought the premise would be interesting but it seems that and the graphics are all it has going for it.

Characters: Protagonist is a rich spineless whiny indecisive wuss with heavy daddy issues. His daddy sounds like he got his backdoor kicked in a few dozen times throughout his life. The devil sounds like he had his backdoor kicked in a few thousand more times throughout his life span. His girl is a disgusting high society airhead. His best friend is a predator who forces himself on his girlfriend while she is out of her mind and he still considers him a friend because you know hes a spineless wuss so what could he do but forgive and forget? Sawyer, the saw & Gabriel were the only well written characters and they aren’t explored too extensively.

I need to say… for 2$? This is a great game!

The graphics and overall atmosphere of the game is nice and well made.

Audio design is good and simple but effective. Combined with jumpscares and many diffrent threats.. it made me scream A LOT.

But it gets a bit repetetive after few tries but no matter every single trail is all diffrent than the ones before!

In my opinion it’s totally worth the money - 9/10!

Ilya finds Ivan’s smartphone, on which the young man recorded an audio message in a frightened voice that Marina found some strange amulet in the forest and then she disappeared. Ilya sets off on the tracks that lead the main character into a world full of death and madness
