Sol Survivor
I am SUPER pleased that I gave this game another chance, because it is now firmly in my Top 3 All Time tower defense games (and I’ve played over 100, far more if you count war3 maps).
I got this game shortly after it first came out way back in 2011 and a bunch of us played it coop. It was fun but it seemed really generic and sloppily designed. A few dozen hours later I uninstalled it and rarely ever brought it back out because I ignorantly thought the single player was the same as the multiplayer.

I was introduced to Sol Survivor by someone who’d read my review on Heretic and asked if I’d ever played it using the Doomsday engine. He had an extra copy that he gifted me after we spent a couple hours kicking each other’s asses in some Dukematches.
This is my first “real” Tower-Defense game, and it’s a great way to be introduced to the genre. Before Sol Survivor, my only glimpse into this genre were the UMS “Turret Defense” and “Pylon Defense” user-created maps for Battle.net StarCraft matches (classic, mind you, not II).

Nation Red
Nation Red is a top down Zombie Shooter. And a good one!
In several different Game Modes like Barricade (you need to hold a point, have some support from Sentry Guns or Soldiers) Survival (show them how long you can keep going) or the Classic endless mode. Every Game Mode offers you a different Challenge.
On top of that, there are tons of different power ups you can pick up, that will drop randomly from your enemies. While you’re playing you gain Experience and Level up, with every Level up, you get access to a wide Range of skills you can choose from, to optimize your Character in a way you want to play the level/game. Through that, the game offers a wide range of variations to try out and experiment with. The game also offers a variety of boss monsters you encounter randomly throughout your current play trough. Which all have their own strength and weaknesses. You can change the difficulty at any given time. As stronger as you make your enemies, the more experience you will get from them.

Definitely very good game, Top-Down it’s not maybe my prefered genre, but I really enjoyed this game. I have just done 100% achievements! It was fun :)
As achievement hunter I can recommend this game too, ‘cheevos were challenging and innovative (achievements in this game = ideas of people who play it - you can suggest in steam discussion), but nothing what you wouldn’t be able to do, especially when you have some hours behind you. I have finished all achievements in around ~50 hours, all without 3 cows, which means killing 500k, 750k & 1kk zombies and generally it was the most boring part of this game when I have finished everything else (killed ~330 000 when I was done with rest achievs.). Unfortunately Multiplayer will be dead till the end of this year, I had problems now with finding players, sometimes was lucky, mostly weekends evenings.

Orczz
Orczz is a tower/lane defense game and a blatant ripoff of Plants Vs Zombies. Gameplay is mostly identical.
One of the simple rules of thumb when it comes to ripping off games is that you have to be better than the game you’re ripping off, and exceed that game is most respects. Orczz is inferior in all respects. The resolution is fixed and there’s not even widescreen support, the game runs in 4:3 pillarbox, despite being released in 2016. The $4.50 price tag is a joke. I do not recommend this game.

Terminal squad: Swarmites
I’ve never played games of this genre. This is amazing! The levels are slowly becoming more difficult, which does not allow me to relax and even more draws me into the game. This game deserves more

I like old-style games, so I decided to buy this game, as it reminded me of the games of my childhood, well, let’s start with the pros of the game:
-
You need to think through your steps to be successful in this game
-
Intuitive interface, looks good
Disadvantages of the game:
I don’t really like the graphics, I think it looks too old, I’ve seen a few old-style games, but they used the new game development technologies, they looked very good and enticing

Bullet Hell ADVANCED
this game looks great it sounds great it plays pretty good but I have some problems. The game is fun but when there are so many bullets on screen at the same time it is a little hard to see the enemies though I got used to it pretty quickly. the controls were horrible at least at first. It reversed left and right so it was hard to remember my directions while moving but you can swap the controls in the settings menu. Now my two biggest problems, repetition and game errors. so talking more about the “repetition” so when playing the game you have four unique secondary abilities and three primary fire choices. I enjoyed trying the different abilities but the primary fires are not great. the primaries called plasma and kinetic are the same or extremely similar I couldnt tell which. That leaves only two real options for primary fire hitscan or a projectile and I always use laser. The second major problem is the framerate dips(very uncommon but happened) while I have a high end computer may just be my settings though and the game crashing/freezing which really ruined my expierence though it never happened mid game. the game is fun but with all these problems I wouldnt recommend this.(edit this game has made many improvements since I reviewed it and I think its a whole lot better now I still encounter some glitches here and there but overall its a very good game.)

it is a very fun game, and very engaging. it takes a bit of time to find the controls, and needs a tutorial, but is fun once you get the hang of it. some functions I would add would be a high score, a multiplayer (that would be very fun) and for all the stray bullets that hit the enemies to do damage. once you figure out the containers that carry weapons, it can be very hard to grab the weapons, so maybe an asteroid or junk floating around the weapon to provide cover while picking it up? the game overall is very fun, but could use difficulty levels. I found myself not really ready for a hard mode when I didn’t really know the functions of the game. also switch the defualt a and d keys for left and right movement, it is confusing. I feel that too much of the game revolves around finding a good weapon at the start without taking too much damage, but once you get a good weapon, it is very fun. if you found some means to extend the game length, that would be awesome, because I always die once the big thing comes out (don’t know what it’s called).

Diamo XL
Diamo XL is yet another fun game from nickervision, definitely worth it
==========
I’ve been looking forward to this game the moment the images used in the description of the steam store page got uploaded on the dev’s account, now the question is: was it worth waiting for?
Positive:
-
the games starts simple and gets progressively harder
-
the main game is really easy to understand, leaving the entire focus game up to you mastering it, which is exactly what this game was striving for
Negative:

Diamo XL is an amazing creation by Nickervision Studios that has kept me enticed for the short period of time that I have owned it, and I presume that it will continue to do so for many more hours to come.
Essentially, Diamo XL is a game in which you try to create the outline of a diamond, moving your ball along the path from line to line. Once you have traced all the outlines you will get more points which are, points. No description needed because I assume that everyone knows what a point is. After you have been moving for a bit, you’ll notice the amount of points you get exponentially increases. This is dependant on the multiplier. You earn a higher multiplier by constantly moving around the diamond and staying alive.

Sorry, this is not good enough to warrent money being spent on it. The game mechanics stink.

## Ding Dong VR
Thanks for making such a beautiful game, it's very addictive.
I've only gotten to a bit less than 100 so far, but my brain is improving all on its own, I don't know how it's doing it.
I had played the non-VR version and I noticed that if my timing wasn't perfect the orb would get "stuck",
but somehow using the trigger on the HTC Vive controllers this doesn't happen, which is nice.
One suggestion: would it be possible to offer an option for a pure-black bagkground in the VR version (rather than grey), and perhaps even an option to remove the square grid? It might look nicer and more relaxing on the HTV Vive like that, and the explosions might stand out more against a pure black background, although they're already quite delightful.

This is a great little game to let people slowly into VR or to just sit and relax with after a longer session.
There's not much to it but it looks nice and is quite addictive. For a game I got on sale for less than the price of a can of Coke, it's amazing. Even at full price it's less than a Coke at the bar!
I think there could easily be a bit more:
- The specials could be earned rather than just random maybe by getting close to the various shaped objects.
- Harder levels
- the safe points move left/right

## Lavapools - Arcade Frenzy
You will hate bats for the rest of your life if you play this game.
An Analysis of Lavapools
Recommendation for people who like rage games/games that require skill and have lots of player death: 10/10
Recommendation for people who aren't into that stuff: 5/10
Overview: Lavapools is a top-down rage game. You are a crab, trying to get your son back who has been stolen by an octopus who is designing traps for you.
Lavapools has 3 gamemodes on several levels:
1\. Procedural
The most common gamemode. You collect gems from gem spawn points, and as you get more gems the world gets more hazardous. At 25 gems the door opens to end your progress and save your score, but you can keep collecting gems. When you die, you drop about half of your gems in one little pile and can pick them back up when you respawn (with 0 gems, of course). The hazard level/rank/music also resets when you die. The levels in this gamemode are the smallest compared to other gamemodes.

Pure skills arcade game. Why it's awesome ?
1\. You play as a blue Krabb
2\. You play in a HOOOOT volcano (Yes, the game is called Lavapools for a reason)
3\. It's full of deadly trap, and you will die …. a lot.
Very easy to understand, very hard to master.

## Life is Hard
This game is, for me, very very addicting. I'm having an absolute blast with it, and am disappointed only with the fact that it is early access and there isn't more to do/some issues with the game.
Some of said issues are as such:
The Nord Archers are able to outrange my archers even though they are in a tower (causing the tower to be destroyed and the soldiers to die)
The game doesn't have much helping in terms of dealing with some of the random situations (one being the crops of your farms getting sick and not growing. I figured out I could destroy and rebuild the farm, but this doesn't feel right, and granted there may be an actual way you can fix without destroying and rebuilding, but if the tutorial says so then I wasn't able to know due to my tutorial seemingly starting when I say yes)

This game is Kinda fun? Idk. Here's my major issue with this game - I honestly don't even have that much to complain about with the bugs….of which there are many. Getting stuck on menu screens. Having the game crash. Having enemies get stuck on enemies, having workers get stuck in loops. Having my hero charge into hordes of enemies even though I told him 100 times to get well behind the wall so he wouldn't be tempted. Having the mercenaries get stuck beating the ever living shit out of a dead bear because my contract ended as they were killing it. Having buildings I destroyed never disappear. Etc Etc etc. But all of that would be fine if there wasn't a literal infinite spawn of enemies. This feels worse than Call of Duty, because at least in COD once you find the correct path and rush forward the enemies stop spawning. This is just an endless nightmare. I currently have 7 fully decked out soldiers trying to take down the village to the East "Which I guess is North, because it tells me to destroy the village to the north". I have so much faith and I'm spamming damage and healing spells. I have the death knight so I should be pretty F-ing powerful. But Whenever I'm in the Nordic village, which feels like it goes on forever. I've destroyed 2 massive towers and at least half a dozen buildings. But anytime I get to far the enemies just infinitely spawn. It will spawn couple archers, a couple weak soldiers and a strong soldier. Just non-stop. I kill them and they're already popping back up. Why the hell do I have a limited population. But the Nords are backed by the full force of China's population, all armed and trained. It's not fun, it's tedious. I just want to wipe them out for wronging me. That is clearly meant to be an option. I can kill their buildings, but it has absolutely no impact on this endless horde of zombies slowly marching ever westward and chipping away at my forces bit by bit.
