BomberX

BomberX

The game of childhood. Exciting - it would seem that the gameplay is straightforward. But placing bombs, thinking where to escape from the explosion and from enemies, and listening to music - the head turns off, and a day passes, and not an hour after the game. A variety of levels, enemies. The real strategic game is to understand when, where and why. Recommend!

BomberX is a pretty fun little arcade blocky game. It reminds me a lot of that old game a lot of us used to play in our childhood, Atomic Bomberman.

Keep in mind right from the start that the game’s in very Early Access and there’s bound to be some issues around. But, with the help of the players, the team behind this unpolished gem could create something great.

Things are basic and easy to get right into. You load the game, and you can play either offline mode with bots or jump into the multiplayer with other people.

IF this game was FREE, I would still NOT play it…Please stay away from this game…this was one of the worst experiences ever…first of all the game crashed about 3 times just trying to get it started, the launch screen looks like a mobile port from the first nokia device. I feel ripped off for getting charged a price like this…the actual game play was terrible, seriously not even early access, this is like a prototype of an idea. REFUND PLEASE!

DLC Warning

I recommend you buy the DLC it does suck that you need to in order to get the best out of your troops. It should already be in the game. Is the full game and dlc worth it i say yes.

  • The dev says they will be adding new units for FREE in updates and in DLC -

Please don’t block the line

This game is a nice little surprise. Really it’s pretty good, it’s not just another cheap cash grab.

The game is simple. You’re a 911 operator and your job is to manage the emergency services and answering 911 calls.

You have three main services in your control – police, medics and firefighters. You can choose a unit and send it to the point of the map where the incident happened. Depending on the incident you need to choose which units to dispatch. If there’s a robbery it might be smart to send a larger group of police officers with guns and medics to take of the wounded. If there’s a red light offense you probably can send a single officer there to give him a fine. Same with all the other incidents. Sometimes you get some serious incidents like drug cartel or prison break which means you better send a lot of units there.

Kavel

Kavel

I really like Kavel! It’s relaxing with having interesting gameplay. The graphics and sfx are pretty great too. I somehow missed this game on mobile and am glad to have found out about it via twitter before the steam release.

One thing that would make the game even nicer would be some flexibility with the control scheme. Clicking and dragging with LMB and rotating with RMB isn’t the most ergonomic choice in my opinion (it does make sense thinking of this as a mobile game designed at first with touch screens in mind). I’d like to be able to either rotate the held piece with the space bar, or have the held piece snap to the cursor automatically and place with a click rather than release. I tend to grab first and then rotate on the way to where i want to drop and it’s not great for my hands to do so.

Kavel is a really nice Match-3 puzzle game. It has 3 game modes and a great minimalist interface with a lot of color palettes to choose from and super cute visual effects. So, this is a very relaxing game that I highly recommend it.
