Best Plumber

Best Plumber

Plain and simple connecting tube.

In Best Plumber, you connect pipes from a pump to a container.

Do it quickly and get three stars.

You must be fast enough to get three stars in all levels.

Some levels I had to reload several times before the end.

There is nothing complicated and also super cheap.

The withdrawal game is well worth the money.

Wow. If you liked Pipe Dream in the 90s, you’ll enjoy the similarities.

My biggest complaint is that the pipes can be hard to click on and not always respond as you expect. This means that if you are trying to go for 3 stars on all levels, you’ll start having trouble in the mid-high 20s as the timer is much shorter if you don’t get the ideal path.

There IS a glitch that seems pretty bad. If you set up a line of pipes, the water might not go through all of them even if they are linked. To fix this, flip the problematic pipe and you’re good to go.

Pros

• Huge open world adventure for you to explore

• Several side missions

• Character design is unforgettable

• Main story is breathtaking, the ending impacted my view on the world forever

Cons

• Unskippable cutscenes (not that you’d want to)

• Price is a little high for my liking, but forgivable due to the stunning gameplay and features inside

Overall

A truly immaculate creation. Visuals are great, world creation is marvelous. Allows you to create your own original character straight from the Peppa Pig franchise. It makes you feel like you really are a part of the Peppa Pig universe. Makes other games like Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice pitiful. Could be considered a GOTY contender.

For the given cost, this is a good representative of the arkanoid genre. You can spend a couple of evenings and relax in peace. The game is absolutely not annoying and allows you to relax.

The essence of the game is simple: there is a ball, there are blocks and there is a platform with which you have to hit the ball in order to destroy the blocks. All sorts of boosters that help in the game periodically drop out. Then aliens appear in the game and interfere with the game.

I definitely recommend it, because I remembered my childhood with this game

Goodsides:

  • 50 levels of pure skill, hard but fun;

  • The game its just relaxing when you have nothing to do and youre bored; its the best game to play when youre bored;

  • It can be played with the keybord but also with the controller;

  • The leaderboards keep me motivated to play and get new scores but i dont think im the only one;

  • Its cross-platform: you can play it on your phone/tablet but also on your PC/laptop;

  • Here are no intense graphics so any PC/laptop/phone/tablet should be able to run it;

I loved this game when I was offered an early access Steam key by the developer and I think this game is easily worth the price of admission ($5 USD on launch day)…

Here’s a video of “Box: The Game” and my first impressions from back in November of 2018:

My “First Impressions” Scores:

Value: 35/40 - Strong value here for the type and amount of unique puzzles you get to solve.

Fun: 24/30 - The most subjective part of my scoring here, but if you like good puzzle games, you’re sure to agree!

Terrible

Real player with 0.4 hrs in game

Fear Half Factor is a very lazy retro pixel vertical scrolling endless runner style game where you chase people to convert them to ghosts like yourself. There’s little to no gameplay apart from moving around left and right. The graphics are quite poor and the gameplay terrible. There’s no 16:9 support despite the game being released in 2018.

I can’t recommend this lazy shovelware.

The game is 80 eurocents or your regional equivalent, point being that it costs nearly nothing, while delivering similar quality Nickervision’s earlier games have.

The game isn’t meant to be much, just a simple score attack game that you might play for a little bit and never touch again. It does this well, and manages to stay fun despite the repetitive gameplay, and I feel like I’ve already gotten my money’s worth at 1,6 hours. In this time, I managed to get almost all the achievements, and I’ll probably play it a bunch more considering the other games Nickervision has made.

Real player with 7.3 hrs in game

This game is fun, with the game mechanics and the music working very well together. It’s easy to find yourself lost trying to keep putting your personal best score. I recommend picking up this game if you like simplistic, minimalist games that challenge you to incrementally improve your read and react response to the game environment.

I’m stealing a conclusion paragraph from user tautegory: “Overall, I would say that Bing Bong is the distillation of the quintessential Nickervision mechanics. Everything works well together and creates a fun time waster. To be honest I was expecting a shallow and empty design like most abstract arcade games on mobile. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I picked up these games.”

Peggle Deluxe

Dear Peggle,

We had been friends for quite a long time before i got to know you really well. We grew up together, we played xbox together. It was fun! But when we started to race that’s when things got serious. You have made me laugh, you have made me cry. Sometimes I wanted to punch you in the head, but I could never do that to you, you were always so nice and fair to me. Even after one-hundred (100) HOURS of playing peggle, I have realized that there is nothing else in this life that is more important than this game. Peggle, without you, I am nothing. I am so thankful you came into my life and I hope that we never have to part ways.

Real player with 228.3 hrs in game

highly recommend. every gamer should play.

EDIT: I have now 100% completed this game, finished a couple of months ago. The story line that goes through the period of time in your life while playing this for the 100% kind of becomes the peggle story line, somehow. I saw myself getting over life hurdles the day after peggle hurdles, not sure how they do that, but when I completed the game, I was suddenly done with school- minus a few ceremonies and tests.

The mechanics of this game are beyond good, the physics simulation lets you make the coolest shots with just basic knowledge of geometry, such as the tangent line approximation formula and implicit differentiation, and makes you feel extremely good when you hit a really good opener that clears half the board in one turn.

I bought this so I could play online, but after quite a few matches I’m not even sure anymore whether I’m playing real human beings or some AI made to pretend there are actual people playing this half-hearted abomination of a port.

There really is no way to tell, because the game offers no chat functionality or any way to make contact at all. In addition to that nicknames seem to be masked or something - every search for player’s profiles I made on Steam turned out empty. Why?

Well, if there are people playing, matchmaking almost always gives you ridiculously weak opponents: they walk into the most obvious traps and let their forces be split incredibly easy. Out of my 50 games I had like 2-3 really good ones.

Real player with 22.7 hrs in game

I’ve always loved this board game! It’s sort of an abstract sumo wrestler strategy thing where you’re trying to lure opponents to the edge and use their momentum against them. The weight of the pieces as they clack along the track and against each other was just perfect.

This adaptation does a great job of capturing the physical feeling and the controls are just right. It’s also nice that you can try out moves and undo them without the opponent seeing, rather than having to imagine the outcome and poker-face.

I really like the game. It is perfect for a few quick rounds. Very interesting to find the right strategy. As it is with card games there is an element of luck of course but that’s just the nature of the beast, I guess.

Real player with 198.4 hrs in game

Unfortunately very disappointing

I was really looking forward to this but it is not the classic game from 1989. It is either a later version or the card game. It constantly creates the situation that your hand is full of nations without the corresponding tables being available. Then you have to put these cards on the bar & then, when the tables come up, you don’t have the cards anymore - stupid.

In the original game you knew the tables upfront & if they were full you know that you can put the corresponding cards to the bar because you don’t need them anymore.
