Endless Soul Light Solitaire

Endless Soul Light Solitaire

The description of the game says everything: a classic Solitaire game. With the usual extras. There is real nothing new in this game.

Now, playing it some bugs are annoying: several times the game didn’t realized that there are no other cards playable; sometimes the game removes the card…but it is still visible and must be played a 2nd time.

Still if you have time to waste (and the game is reduced)….why not

This game is a bit of a bugfest. Twice at different points, the game froze and wouldn’t let me click on anything, so I had to force quit out. The game didn’t crash, it was still running.

Also, there was a weird bug on one level where the top card was actually under the second card of the pile. Had to buy and use a joker on that stack just to get past that level.

I’ve played some of the other solitaire games by this dev and haven’t ran into any bugs. I would avoid this one.

I really like the game. It is perfect for a few quick rounds. Very interesting to find the right strategy. As it is with card games there is an element of luck of course but that’s just the nature of the beast, I guess.

Unfortunately very disappointing

I was really looking forward to this but it is not the classic game from 1989. It is either a later version or the card game. It constantly creates the situation that your hand is full of nations without the corresponding tables being available. Then you have to put these cards on the bar & then, when the tables come up, you don’t have the cards anymore - stupid.

In the original game you knew the tables upfront & if they were full you know that you can put the corresponding cards to the bar because you don’t need them anymore.

Quite a good solitaire game, with an intriguing story, good graphics & suitable suspence music. I’d say, it’s on par with Regency Solitaire & definately deserves more players.

It has a short intermediate sequence at the end of every chapter of a hidden objects game. I am not really a fan of hidden objects games or majong, which some of the solitaires also have included, but i find this HO mini game not very hard to master & matching well the atmosphere of a detective story, so still a recommendation. On top, you can just skip it.

As much as I love shooters and RPG sword play etc, sometimes I like to play a chill game and relax. This game does that. I am a fan of solitaire and hidden object games, so I like the idea of bridging the gap between the two and also having an in depth story line. I’ve only played chapter 1, but so far I have not encounter any bugs. The game play seems smooth. My only complaint is I wished the developer would have included puzzles like that are in other hidden object games, but over all I am enjoying the game. So, yes I recommend this game to anyone else that likes the solitaire/HOG genres.

I once promised myself not to buy any puzzle/card/hidden object games as they are too addictive for me. I literally can’t stop playing them until the very end. Welp, I failed again and I can’t say I regret anything xD

The game is great! It offers so many different ‘tasks’, actually the elements of all those games I’ve already mentioned. Every level brought something new and interesting. To get all the achievemnts I had to buy all those amulets, as a result it was never really challenging. Plus, the game surprisingly has a plot. Quite simple but that journey became truly charming.

It has good looking visuals, decent music and ambience, it has a total of 3 mini games in it with 99% of it being solitaire obviously, the other 2 being hidden object and jigsaw puzzles, with 40 levels there is only hidden object and puzzles at a certain points so you can expect them which are a neat break from the usual, the levels weren’t that difficult, one thing I tended to do to help get 3 stars in the first try was if the start of the level wasn’t so great i’d just restart it since it’s randomly generated each time. One thing about the puzzle game I quite enjoyed was being able to sort of throw the pieces and them sort of fit.

It is a solid up/down or golf format solitaire game. like many before it it has a story along side the levels and the interwoven “rpg” type equipment system adds to the over all theme of this game,

the deck feels random, as in you cant be sure that with 12 cards left and 2 one the board that youll pull a card you need to win. other solitaire games ive played (all of them or almost all) you can bet on getting the card you need with in 5 draws.

the art style is also refreshingly different than other solitaire games, and reflects the themes well.

The game seems to be without support. I cannot find the quit game button after starting a layout and received no reply on the discussion. It is neither engaging nor relaxing.

Performance is rough, not much too the game but it heats up the system as if it were much larger than it is. Needs a visit from the dev in that area.

Very good, entertaining Solitaire game. This game is pretty much flawless. I still don’t care for the mini games. They kind of mess up the flow of the game. I look forward to more games from the Developers. 10/10.

I love these +1/-1 solitaire games, and I’d never played one developed by DigiMight, so I wanted to get their take on the formula.

Overall, I think that they did a pretty good job. Although the abilities were simple and straightforward, they certainly aided in the completion of some of the more challenging levels. I also liked the tension created by the time pressure cards present on the tableau. If you remove too many other cards without removing the time pressure obstacles, a card will either be subtracted from your deck or added to the board, depending on the obstacle color. Blue obstacles remove a card from your deck, while orange ones add an additional one to the tableau.

Recommended with HUGE caveats.

The game is pretty much the same as its predecessor.

Same story presentation, same mini-games, similar layouts.

Okay. Now- the big differences-

Huge grind. HUGE. Way more than the first game. Be prepared to replay levels over and over to get enough gold for the over-prices jokers and amulets. (Level 1, 1st layout it okay for this, not a ton of gold, but fast and easy to clear at 3 stars, once you have an amulet or two or three.)

Small deck sizes, even with the amulet to give 2 extra cards at the start. Which means some layouts will take many tried and great luck to clear.

Well, this game is really just the same as its predecessor, “Snow White Solitaire. Charmed Kingdom”, with all the good points and all the flaws as the previous iteration. Fun gameplay (note the caveat below), decent power-ups, music that is hopelessly average (not to mention repeated ad nauseum), and graphics that aren’t fancy but that certainly do the trick.

There is one major caveat which makes this more of a thumbs-sideways review than an enthusiastic thumbs-up: THE GRIND. When I read a few of the other reviews which mentioned grind, I shrugged it off….“It’s a solitaire game,” I said to myself, “What kind of grind could there be?”. Well, let me tell you….the vast majority of the levels are so obtusely arranged that it is almost invariable (unless you really, REALLY want to play the exact same level seven or eight or nine or more times) that you’re going to need a wild card to finish off a level or get you past a critical point. And those joker cards cost money (roughly 1500 gold each). And you only make ~400-500 gold (at best!) per level {heck, most of the time you’ll make ~300 gold}, so you can see where this is going (not to mention the achievement for having 20 000 gold pieces).
