Can type 100wpm. Cannot remember where keys are while playing. (Had fun anyway.)
Refreshing and unique, Waver definitely feels worth the purchase if you enjoy something both straightforward in concept and infuriatingly difficult to perfect. The rhythm of the “waves” will take some getting used to, however once you find it it makes sense (I found this difficult to admit, as my first instinct was to just be mad at the game). The learning curve is not the smoothest, but as you start to improve, receiving better scores/perfect waves is very satisfying. This game definitely feels more like it’s made for an experienced typist looking to test and refine skills/dexterity, as there are little to no practical educational aspects for younger learners (outside of typist mode, which is just your basic WPM typing test).

Backspace Bouken
To be honest, my teacher told me about the game in computer science, he said the game was really fun and that it also helped you get better at typing. I thought I’d try it out and I personally really enjoy the game. It is good fun and it has definitely helped me improve my typing skills. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun and get better at typing. I bought the game yesterday and I have already played this game alone for over 8 hours. I can’t describe how great of a game this is. I enjoy coming backand trying to get faster times. But what i love most about the game is that if you are speedrunning it, eventhough the game itself is a bit short, you have to spend a long time playing it as you need to fully explore each floor to get sings so you can get spaces. This is what I love most about this game, without spaces, the game would be too easy and you could complete it in 15 minutes, but because spaces exist, you need to collect signs and earn spaces to fight each character otherwise you die. This is probably the only game I could play for long periods of time, that is how much I love this game. Overall, the game is good for speedrunning, learning how to type fast, and having fun. Thanks for such an awesoem game!

Backspace Bouken is okay for what it offers, but without any real elements that would put it aside other games with similar concept. For the IG bundle price I got it for, I’d say it was totally worth the money, but the full price tag is clearly too much to ask for.
The game is really short, you can easily finish it in 4 hours with the latest numb lock expansion, even less for the base game. I can’t say that it’s a bad game, which is why I’m giving it thumbs up, but the game was getting very tedious for me by the end, as the levels are very convoluted and simply hard to navigate, with a lot of backtracking, especially if by any chance you would want to save all NPCs and do something more than just finishing the main story. The severe lack of new mechanics and the fact that the game won’t really surprise you with anything that you haven’t seen in the first few minutes, is also adding to the tediousness and boredom by the end.

Hack Bomb BOMA-YE
Game Overview
『Hack Bomb BOMA-YE』 is an online bomb battle game for up to four players.
You control the player in the game and try to defeat other players with bombs!
In order to defeat your opponent, you can not only control bombs, but also use the terminal to change the status of yourself and other players.
You can’t get to the top just by having the skills to kill your opponents with bombs.
The key to victory is to hack the game with your terminal like a super hacker.
Put your killing intent into bombs and use your commands to make everything go crazy and fight!
Game Features
1. sharp game design and music
The design is based on the image of an engineer’s terminal where you can change your opponent’s status with the terminal. The font is 8-bit, and the color of the text is basically green. The characters and items in the game are dot-drawn to create a retro, mechanical atmosphere.
The BGM and SE are also in the 8-bit style, making the game design irresistible to players who like it.
2. unconventional status control from the terminal
This game has a terminal that allows you to control the status of the player, which is an innovative system that has never been seen before. By executing commands from the terminal, you can change the status of not only yourself but also other players.
Players have several stats, such as speed (movement speed), bombPower (bomb firepower), and so on. Please refer to the help page for more information. 1.
3. match players online at will in two battle modes
This game can only be played online, but we have prepared two match modes for you to match with players, Random Match and Private Match.
Random Match: Play against an unspecified number of people, and the match will start when four people gather.
Private Match: Create a private room and enter the room code in the home page to join.

Type Fighter
**EDIT: I saw the review from 2019 saying the typing is buggy by overlapping with other words you could type, and I’ve never experienced this bug on any of the computers I’ve played this on. I’m pretty confident that this bug must have been fixed before I started playing.
Super hard but fun 2D-sprite infinite runner game where you’re typing to kill fireball wizards, jump over armored spiders, piercing flying birds with arrows that are dropping rocks on your head, rolling under stone walls, and leaping over bottomless pits. You get 4 words at a time to choose from. Typing one word will make you jump, another will make you shoot an arrow, another will make you swing your sword, and another will make you roll. The further you go before inevitably dying, the higher your score becomes.

Epistory - Typing Chronicles
TIME TO EDIT THE EARLY ACCESS REVIEW FOR A COMPLETE REVIEW
I knew about Epistory before it was put in Early Access because Pedago-tic ASBL (I work there) happened to be among those who organized a game jam in Belgium, with Fishing Cactus. So, I heard about Epistory at that time and waited for the release.
Unfortunately, real life got in the way and I only bought the game during the last Winter Sales. I’m testing it now and writing a review.
Epistory is a game where you’re a young girl on a giant fox, without memories, until she realizes that something bad will happen and that she will be the one that will restore the world around her.

Epistory - Typing Chronicles is the gamer’s dream program for practicing touch typing or for improving typing in general. The game does not teach from the ground up, so this is not to teach the player how to type, but it certainly does a good job in keeping the player typing when playing.
This is a RPG game in a typing format. The background story is that a fictional writer is having some writer’s block, and you are her muse. You control the young girl riding a red fox and traverse the world to help the writer find her inspiration. As you move around, lines from the writer show up. Sometimes she write something good, sometimes bad. Sometimes she questions herself, and it all gets imprinted onto the world that you are walking around in. You help out the writer by collecting fragments and inspiration points.

GoVenture TYPING
baffling. unplayable.
first of all, why does the game ask me for a location of the save file? what kind of game does this? why would you ever make the player do this? every time you open the game it defaults to C: too so have fun finding your save file if you put it in somewhere deep
not that it really matters, because the typing system is broken. on the initial typing test my cursor kept getting locked up in random places, saying i made mistakes when i didn’t. i’m a reasonably fast typer and i guess the game couldn’t keep up? it would point to an empty field and say i made a mistake and not let me move on until i press backspace, which just makes no sense at all.

sWORD MASTER
It is an easy to learn and play game. Not hugely challenging but it is possible to fail! It has been fun so far.
– Real player with 23.6 hrs in game
A fun word game to kill some time; 10 minutes or an hour at a time.
There are some minor bugs here or there and some questionable UI/menu decisions, but generally doesn’t have a huge impact on playability.

A really fun community experience that has the chaotic flavor of the Cook, Serve, Delicious series combined with the feeling of victory that only true teamwork can bring. The theme song is incredible and is worth launching the game just to listen to.
