Crossing Guard Joe

Crossing Guard Joe

Experience the thrills and spills of being a crossing guard in this action arcade game! Step into the working man’s boots of Crossing Guard Joe as he battles the combined forces of angry motorists and bureaucratic red tape.

  • The gameplay requires hands-on action and quick thinking. The drivers of Monoxide City have no respect for traffic laws, pedestrians, common decency, or YOU. They won’t stop for anything so you’ll need to be quick on your feet and able to make snap-decisions to safely shepard all the kids across the street.

  • The easy-to-learn 4-button control scheme is intuitive even to casual players. But the challenge of the levels ramp up steadily. Easy to pick up, hard to master.

  • Besides angry motorists you’ll also have to contend with the bureaucrats down at city hall hitting you with ever more strict rules regarding how many kids are allowed to get pancaked on a given day.

  • 5 days a week for 5 weeks. As you progress through the 25 level campaign you will face ever-worsening traffic conditions and environmental hazards. You start the game off with nothing but your trusty stop-sign and your pointing-arm, but as you progress you might find helpful objects, like barriers and traffic lights.

  • Your score is determined by speed, crossing-combos, and of course how many kids you manage to get across the street. Refine your strategy for each level for better scores and reach for the top spot on the online leaderboards.

Good luck out there, Joe. The kids of Monoxide City are counting on YOU!

It works.

It’s cheap.

It is like Crazy taxi without any of the fun things that made that game great.

No music. The environment is flat, boring, and simple.

The driving is fine but sometimes unresponsive.

Play Crazy Taxi instead.

Super Huey™ 1 & 2 Airdrop

Super Huey™ 1 & 2 Airdrop

I bought it mainly because I had it when I was a kid for The Atari XL/XE And the c64

Huey 2 was the best one

Huey 1 is okay for its time but controls are choppy. I only liked the Exploration bit

This version is only the C64 version Not the Dos version or the Atari XL or Atari 7800 version

I liked huey UH2x the best!

Disassembly VR

Disassembly VR

Not sure but after clicking submit the button dissapears and it won’t let me leave the review so here is my experience:

Holy♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was planning on being disapointed and returning this but this is, for once, a complete♥♥♥♥♥game that is seriously good even though the idea of disassembling things sounds boring (it’s not apparently). Please buy this and support full real games in VR. 10/10 but vive users gets ready for the usual experience trying to handle things with your motion wands, gonna be banging them a lot.

+Therapeutic

-A Bit Pricey for what it is

-A Bit Buggy for the price.

3/5

This is a great, somewhat therapeutic game in which you take things apart. It’s somewhat pricey at $30 bucks, but quite honestly I’m enjoying it and think it’s worth the price. However maybe wait for it to go on sale, also if you don’t like taking things apart, maybe stay away from this. Also, currently it’s one of the best uses for the Valve Knuckle controllers.

Contraband Police: Prologue

Contraband Police: Prologue

Overview

Although Contraband Police: Prologue can be sufficiently reviewed by saying “in the likeness of Soviet Russia, vehicles inspect you,” ol’ Il Pallino has always prided himself in objective reviews that are the basis for the comment “TL;DR.” Set in the early-1980’s, the prologue starts with the player on their first day on the job where people driving vehicles in worse condition than what the player will find in an American redneck’s yard and make note of the damage (which is typical) and look over papers with an Autobahn Police Simulator 2 mechanic of matching up information, and ultimately deciding to accept or reject a traveler attempting to enter the nation. (The player can simply use their eyes to make note of anything not in order with a traveler’s credentials.) Subsequent days consists of learning other game mechanics like inspecting vehicles suspected of containing contraband, along with the day off, in which the player empties the contents of the contraband storehouse, chucks would-be smugglers in the gulag, and buys new equipment. There’s also even a day where people are forbidden from bringing a certain type of cargo into the country.

I actually enjoyed this game. A lot! One of my favorite parts was the area where the tree was on the edge of the road. I was minding my own business making money and stuff and I hear this glass shattering and metal clanking. I run and look. I see a few vehicles lined up in a semi-circle at the end of the road so I watch them get out of their quagmire. Eventually all are on the road and here comes a vehicle so I step aside but the tree never moves. This is when I realize what was making the destructive sounds of vehicles hitting things. LMAO Every Single Vehicle passing by hit that tree. Every one of them. This I hope stays in the game. It adds character.

CuberPunk 2090

CuberPunk 2090

Not a bad game but not a good one either even tho it was fun…while it lasted. The game is shorter than a male orgasm..

2090 feels empty compared to 2089 despite its flaws that have been partially fixed in 2090 (quest list is one of them).

There are a few bugs that need to be adressed :

  • The character keeps jumping when you don’t move. It’s annoying.

  • The house hack quest randomly fails even if you press on the right shields. It looks like the correct sequence is different that the one we see.

Conduct DELUXE!

Conduct DELUXE!

You’ve seen this kind of game before. The frantic adjust-the-train-switches-so-trains-don’t-collide game, BUT… This is a really good one. I don’t know what about it makes it so enjoyable. Maybe it’s how varied nad interesting looking the tracks are.

Bridges, tunnels that make trains reappear somewhere else, as well as many varying enciromenments.

This, along with the ability to select your own trains, as well as having you actually expected to transport passengers from place to place (Which also means, if your train is yellow, and heading towards a yellow station, any yellow passengers form stations it passes along the way will also board it) all work together to make this the best game of it’s kind that I’ve played so far. (Granted I haven’t played many, but I still feel like this is one of the better ones)

Real player with 39.4 hrs in game

The best way I can describe this game is: it’s like juggling three coloured balls where they change colour mid air and in which two more balls and a chainsaw are thrown at you during the course of your act.

The levels themselves are mostly fair and well designed (I’ll come back to that in a minute) and the controls are lenient enough to where when you fail you can only blame yourself.

The music is a nice complement to the gameplay and the art style is nice and simplistic.

Another nice feature is that you can choose which levels to unlock first which has the bonus effect of being able to leave a difficult level for another which makes the game a lot less frustrating when you meet a level that you just can’t quite complete.

Food Delivery Battle

Food Delivery Battle

Update 9/3/2021:

This day marks the end of my food delivery career.

After a fierce battle, my arch nemesis “NiiChungShanChiiShingChun” beat my WR, ate my tofu and had sex with my wife. In the past, everyone respected me and looked up to me, but now even beginners laugh at me and call me a pathetic loser. I put my life into this game, poured thousands of dollars into my bike, practiced every corner at least 100 times a day and then NiiChung came and took everything from me.

I hate you Niichung…

Simple but very fun little Crazy Taxi like game. Deliver food, earn money, upgrade your bike, it’s that easy. There’s 3 different stages (so far), 2 different game modes, and also supports using your very own VRoid character.
